Officer saw a known wanted suspect run from the apartment to an awaiting SUV in the parking lot. When the Officer got closer the vehicle sped off leaving suspect in the parking lot. Officer arrested suspect and transported him to jail on two felony warrants.

Sometime on the evening of 7/10 between 2000 and 2345 a large amount of nails were thrown over the roadway.  This is an infrequent but recurring problem in this neighborhood.  Ofc. conducted an investigation.

Suspect was seem by an officer getting his bong ready to smoke while sitting in the parking lot. Suspect was contacted and determined to be 19. Marijuana was recovered and suspect was released at scene pending charges.

Bellevue College security observed a previously trespassed subject on the property. The Officer contacted BPD and requested we contact and arrest the suspect for trespassing. Officers responded and arrested suspect after a brief struggle. He was booked into jail for Trespass 1 and Resisting Arrest.

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. He had a warrant out of SPD for Cyber Stalking and Harassment. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to Newcastle Beach Park for a found child.  The 3 year old child had been playing with another group of kids for over an hour, however no one knew the parent.  Eventually the father appeared and told officers he had been watching the child the entire time from his vehicle.  Father had a warrant and was arrested.  CPS was contacted and the child was turned over to them.

Subject was observed in a physical altercation with a female outside of a stopped vehicle adjacent to the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Female called reporting that she received a threatening phone call from a male she met at a Seattle Shelter.  Officer investigated.

Pursuit / Collision

Coal Creek Pkwy SE / Factoria BLVD SE

Bellevue PD officers were dispatched to a hit/run collision involving a police pursuit. A WSP trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on southbound I-405.  The suspect vehicle exited the freeway recklessly made a left turn from the right turn only lane and drove into oncoming traffic as it traveled eastbound on Coal Creek PKWY SE. The suspect vehicle became trapped in the left turn only lanes so it rammed itself between the two victim vehicles, damage caused/no injury.  The suspect vehicle continued on Coal Creek PKWY SE with WSP still in pursuit. Ultimately, the suspect was captured by WSP at his home and arrested for eluding.  BPD provided support to WSP by contacting the victims and releasing the City of Bellevue traffic camera video.  No BPD officers were involved in the pursuit. Command notified.

Suspect was arrested by after shoplifting, possessing stolen property, and doing fraudulent returns at a store. She was booked into jail.

VEHICULAR ASSAULT

NE 4TH ST AND 405 OVERPASS

Suspect ran a red light at the off ramp from SB 405 and turned left onto EB NE 4th. A taxi had the green light and was coming WB on NE 4th and T-boned the suspect vehicle. Suspect had significant injuries along with his passenger. Both were transported to the hospital. Taxi driver had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Charges pending.
