It was reported to WSP that a vehicle that was previously being driven recklessly on I-405 had crashed into a barrier. A short time a later an auto body shop called in due the same subject crashing into a customer’s car. Officers arrived and the subject was arrested and booked. |

Manager called 911 to report a driver passed out in his vehicle. When Officer arrived he witnessed a male stumbling out of the driver’s side of his vehicle. Officer observed a suspicious vehicle, and recognized the occupants from previous contacts. The car parked and both subjects walked into a Denny’s restaurant. Officer ran their names and discovered that both subjects had warrants. The subjects were detained, warrants were confirmed and they both were booked into jail which, like Denny’s, is always open. |

NARRATIVE
Security advised there was a male inside a vehicle smoking something off of tinfoil and masturbating. Officers located the vehicle in question in a parking lot across the street, and saw that the driver was meeting up with a person in a red Dodge Charger. Officer ran the license plate on the Charger and discovered it was stolen. He was able to detain the female passenger but the male driver took off on foot. Responding Officers located the male suspect running a short distance away. Suspect was arrested. |

Officer contacted the subject during a traffic stop. The subject was detained after the officer saw drug paraphernalia in open view inside the vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed almost an ounce of suspected heroin in the subject’s pocket. The vehicle which was impounded pending a search warrant. |

NARRATIVE
Officers responded to the area for reports of a female who was smashing windows on the reporting party’s vehicle. When the reporting party confronted the suspect, the suspect assaulted the reporting party and then fled into a nearby house. The first arriving officers attempted contact with the suspect. The suspect refused to come out and was irate. Initial dialogue with the suspect revealed she was irrational and clearly having a violent mental/emotional episode. Officers also observed a small child in the residence. Based on the fear for the child’s safety, officers forced entry into the residence. The suspect was then taken into custody and the child was unharmed. The suspect was medically cleared and later booked into jail. |

While K-9 officers were training in the area, an officer observed a male going through mailboxes. He continued watching the male suspect as he walked up a driveway empty handed and returned carrying a pair of shoes. Officers detained the male and later arrested the man for theft. |

Homeowner called 911 when she discovered that her garage door was open and her bicycle was missing. The suspects entered a vehicle and used the garage door opener to gain access to the garage. The suspects also stole the garage door opener. |

The security for the building under construction called to report that they had observed two individuals enter the building. The two males ran in separate directions when they spotted the police. They were later apprehended. The doors to the construction site are all unlocked and the suspects later determined to be juveniles did not break in nor did they steal or damage anything. Their parents were called and they were returned home. Trespass charges are being filed. |

NARRATIVE
Suspect stole victim’s purse while it was left unattended on a park bench. The victim and a witness gave chase and drew the attention of two additional witnesses who joined in the foot pursuit. Witnesses tackled and detained the suspect at a nearby business. After being informed that the police were enroute, the suspect broke free and ran towards downtown park. Witnesses once again engaged in a foot pursuit, tackled the suspect again just inside downtown park and this time pinned him to the ground until police arrived to secure him in handcuffs. Suspect was treated by BFD for a scratch and later booked into jail for theft 3rd degree |

Suspects approached the victim and offered to “fix” a crack in her bumper for $700. After completing the “repair” the suspects offered to fix another issue but that repair needed a special tool that required a $2500 dollar cash deposit. Victim went to bank and withdrew $2500 and turned it over to the suspects. The suspects failed to return to complete the repair. |
