A business received a threat via Twitter. Officers responded to investigate and found the building was secure and nothing out of the ordinary was observed. The investigation tentatively identified the threat came from an out-of-state profile address.  Local law enforcement there was advised for further follow-up.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The investigation revealed there was no crime committed, however, one subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant and booked into jail.

Victim reported the suspect stole her purse while she was walking home. The suspect fled south on 145TH Place.  Metro reported a person matching the suspect description taking the bus from this area and getting off at the downtown transit center at about 1800 hours.  The investigation continues.

 NARRATIVE

Officer responded to a robbery in progress.  The victim reported two suspects were stealing merchandise from the store and they were involved in a physical disturbance.  The suspects left the store and entered a vehicle. Responding Officers located the vehicle in the area and attempted a traffic stop; however, the suspects eluded apprehension.  The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending the completed investigation.

Officers responded to suspicious activity at a business.  Officers identified a female and arrested her on warrants.  The male suspect left and was located nearby and arrested on a warrant.  Suspected drug paraphernalia could be seen in a vehicle reported as sold to the male suspect. Both suspects were taken to jail.

Officers responded to reports of a male suspect shouting he saw a person with a gun. Police responded in force and located the suspect in the lobby. Officers used minor force to detain the suspect who was in emotional distress. Officers determined there was no person with a gun. The subject was taken to the hospital. There were no injuries to the suspect.

Officers responded to investigate multiple calls about two subjects fighting. An officer on the scene saw both subjects locked in a fight on the ground. Both subjects were arrested and booked into jail.

An officer responded to an accident – vehicle vs. tree. The officer contacted the driver and determined he was intoxicated. The driver was transported to the hospital and the officer completed a blood draw warrant. The warrant was served, and the driver was summonsed and released at the hospital.

 NARRATIVE

An officer responded to investigate a vehicle theft and noticed an unconscious passenger. The officer contacted passenger and developed probable cause for suspected drug paraphernalia – the driver was not at the scene. Further investigation showed the vehicle was stolen.  The officer received consent search the vehicle from the registered owner and determined the driver of the vehicle left on foot. Later that morning, the suspect driver called the police looking for her dog that was left in the vehicle. She was contacted, arrested and booked into jail. The dog was placed in a shelter earlier in the night.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a found grenade at the Factoria Transfer Station. The transfer station was voluntarily evacuated by plant staff. The Bomb Squad and Bellevue Fire Department responded, and it was determined the grenade was a military-grade smoke grenade. Bomb techs recovered the grenade for proper disposal.

Officers responded to a disturbance with sounds of gunshots. Officers checked the area and located a suspect in the parking garage.  Officers were unable to substantiate a gun was involved, however, the suspect did have a trespass order for the property, so he was booked into jail.

An officer investigated a commercial burglary where a suspect broke into the business.  Very little was stolen, however, the suspect vandalized the front office and storage areas.  The investigation continues.

An officer was dispatched to Downtown Park reference a subject in the park not responding to security. The officer contacted the subject and told him that the park was closed. The subject refused to leave.  The officer was able to determine his identity. The subject had an outstanding warrant.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Store manager reported ex-boyfriend of a recently fired employee called and threatened the business. The manager closed the store for the day.  Officers conducted a welfare check on the ex-girlfriend and she was safe.  The suspect was contacted by phone and identified. The case was filed with the prosecutor and the Captain was notified.

 NARRATIVE

Washington State Patrol requested Bellevue Police assistance for a traffic stop with an uncooperative driver who was refusing to provide his identification and get out of his car.  The passenger was also uncooperative.  The officer broke the driver side windows to unlock the doors. The suspect continued to refuse to get out of the car.  Officers pulled the suspect out of the car as he continued to resist.  Once out of the car, the suspect struggled with officers and an officer fired a taser at the suspect.  WSP detained and booked the suspect.

The suspect and victim argued, and the suspect grabbed a weapon, but the victim did not feel threatened and took the weapon from the suspect without incident.  The suspect then escalated the fight and was arrested and booked into jail.

The reporting party contacted the police and advised that her adult grandson was in emotional distress. The subject hid in the house. The suspect was seen inside a confirmed stolen vehicle parked in the Park and Ride lot. The suspect drove away with the officer following. The vehicle finally stopped in the 1600 blk of 148th Ave SE.  Suspect arrested without incident and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect was released from the hospital and was angry that the victim was not there. When the victim arrived, the suspect assaulted the victim and stole her phone.  Witnesses broke up the fight and suspect ran away. Officers located the suspect several blocks away. The suspect had suspected drugs on his person. He was arrested and booked into jail.

The listed subject was driving on Bellevue-Redmond Road and collided with a large tree branch.  She advised that she could not see the branch as she approached it.  An accident report was completed as documentation.  Crews responded and cleared the roadway.  There were no injuries.
