Hit & Run

East Link Railyard

A subject crashed into an electric pole inside the East Link Railyard.  After his vehicle became disabled from the collision, he decided to flee on foot.  An officer stopped the subject as he ran eastbound towards 120^th Ave NE.  The subject fled by jumping over a fence with barbwire lining the top.  The subject was later located, arrested, and received treatment at the hospital for cuts from the barbed wire fence.  He was booked into jail for Hit & Run, Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Driving With License Suspended.

Additionally, an inventory search of the vehicle was conducted prior to locating the subject.  A firearm and suspected drug paraphernalia were seen in the vehicle.  The vehicle was seized and transported to the station for the application of a search warrant.  Felony charges could be pending depending on the outcome of the search warrant.

Traffic/Obstructing

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a subject for driving in dark & heavy rain without headlights and a rear bumper dangling from the vehicle.  Upon contact, the officer had reasonable suspicion for DUI and ordered the suspect to exit the vehicle to further investigate safely. The suspect refused to exit the vehicle or talk and initially would not comply until officers opened the door. The subject got out of the vehicle without a use of force. After further investigation, the subject was arrested and released at the scene.  He will be summoned for obstruction, and a citation was issued for traffic infractions.

Police responded to a disturbance in progress, and after contacting the subjects in the room, the investigating officer determined that no domestic violence relationship or assault had taken place; however, the suspect had willfully damaged the hotel room. He was arrested and booked into jail.

K9 Officer GHOST responded to assist Bothell PD with a Car Prowl in progress. The suspect was last seen fleeing from the crime scene into a wooded ravine nearby. After the perimeter was set and Officer GHOST and his partner initiated an extensive track but lost the suspect’s scent.

A victim reported that over the last several months, she has been following a businessman on GTV and invested $360,000 for stock options through an unknown person.  She never received her options and suspects fraud.

Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the victim’s residence via a window and stole $10,000 in cash from the master bedroom. There have been several burglaries in this area recently.

A suspect stole merchandise and fled the scene in a vehicle.  A motor officer conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle for multiple traffic offenses prior to information about the theft being broadcast. The suspect was detained and arrested for the theft, as well as numerous misdemeanor warrants out of Renton and Tukwila PD.  He was booked into jail.

Police responded to a shoplifter in custody and were advised by loss prevention agents that the suspect had concealed store items on his person and attempted to leave the property without paying. The suspect was arrested and summoned with a court date.

Police responded to a strong-arm robbery that just occurred. The victim reported that her shopping bag had been taken from her by force, which contained her wallet, keys, and her pet Kitty Cat. The victim reported that the suspects were last seen southbound on Bellevue Way to eastbound NE 4th St, but they could not be located. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers contacted the suspect in connection with a robbery investigation. One suspect was found to be in possession of a confirmed, stolen handgun out of Moses Lake PD. Another suspect was driving with a suspended license. Suspect one was arrested.  Suspect two was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

Police responded to a Violation NCO DV in progress. The responding officers recognized the suspect and victim. The victim was contacted downstairs and confirmed unharmed. The victim gave officers consent to enter her apartment.  The arrest team contacted the suspect inside the victim’s residence. He was arrested and booked into jail without incident.

Officers were requested to serve an Extreme Risk Protection Order to a subject who had threatened staff at a hospital in Seattle.  After researching the subject to mitigate everyone’s safety risk, the order was served.  During the contact, the subject disclosed the location of numerous magazines, ammunition, firearm accessories, and partially built firearms.  The items were seized without incident, and the order was served.

A suspect was causing a scene and loitering at the above location, attempting to sell gift cards to customers.  The suspect refused to leave.  An officer arrived on scene and told the suspect to leave and trespassed him.  The suspect said he would return after police left.  The officer responded to another call, and when he returned, the suspect was back on the property trying to sell gift cards. The suspect then failed to initially comply when contacted, which resulted in an obstructing charge.  The suspect was arrested, interviewed, and released via summons.  Charges were filed.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress between an ex-boyfriend/suspect and an ex-girlfriend/victim. The suspect alleged the victim was cheating on him, and a verbal argument began. During this argument, the suspect slapped the victim and forced the victim out of the residence. The officer corroborated the statements with the evidence and arrested the male. He was booked into jail.

A suspect was found prying the vacuum machine to steal money, damaging the units.  Officers arrived on-scene and observed the suspect in the commission of the crime.  He was detained and arrested without incident. The money was recovered, and the damage was noted.  He was booked into jail.

A victim called to report that her boyfriend had discharged his firearm in the house.  The female and 17-year-old daughter hid in the residence, then fled when police arrived. The victim was uncooperative and left the scene when told not to.  She was intoxicated and gave false information regarding the incident. The male party was compliant and sober.  It was determined that after an argument earlier, the male was going to leave for the night and went to retrieve his firearm from the safe when he accidentally discharged it into the safe wall, which contained the round. The female was released at the scene and will be summoned.  The male left for the night, and the daughter stayed with a friend.

Officers responded to the residence for an audible alarm activation.  Upon arrival, officers located signs of forced entry to a rear sliding door.  Additional officers arrived to assist, and after clearing the residence and finding no suspects, an investigation was conducted. At the time of this report, it appears the unknown suspect(s) were scared off by the alarm activation and never actually made entry.  The investigation is on-going.
