 NARRATIVE

A female subject was terminated from employment and as she was leaving the office area, she was talking with an unknown person on the phone, saying “Yeah, I don’t work here anymore, I’ll be back, I’m gonna kill everyone in this store.” The business wanted the incident documented, and the subject was told not to return.  The subject was contacted and stated she has no intention to ever return to the business.

Fire personnel observed a vehicle that appeared to have been in a collision and notified police.  The male and female occupants abandoned the vehicle and walked towards a greenbelt to the north.  The vehicle was reported as stolen.  Officers set a perimeter, and a Kirkland K9 unit responded and located the female hiding in the green belt.  She was booked into jail.  The search for the male suspect continues.

 NARRATIVE

A female advised officers that a warrant subject was in the area, and she was picking him up. While researching the subject, the male entered female’s vehicle, and they began to drive away.  A traffic stop was conducted on female’s vehicle, and the warrant subject was observed in the passenger seat. The suspect became nervous during the stop and ran from the vehicle.  After running 20 yards, the suspect stopped and complied He was booked into jail.

Officers assisted fire with a male subject lying inside a bathroom stall, possibly having a seizure.  A records check showed multiple outstanding warrants (Robbery 2nd and Escape of Community Custody). The subject was transported to the hospital, and after being medically cleared, he was booked into jail.

The reporting party received a scam phone call from a subject who claimed that they were a King County Sheriff’s Office employee.  The scammer threatened to freeze the victim’s accounts unless they paid $23,000.

On Tuesday, 4/27, an unknown male approached a group of kids – ages 7-13 – playing in the apartment complex parking lot and offered them candy. The kids declined, and the suspect left the area in a 4-door red sedan, possibly a Toyota. The kids notified their parents, who notified the apartment manager. The investigation is ongoing.

The Bike Team contacted the subjects in a parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was the respondent in a valid protection order. The passenger in the vehicle was the protected party. Officers arrested the suspect, and he was booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspects for a traffic violation and determined that the driver was driving with a suspended license. The passenger had multiple outstanding, confirmed warrants and a felony No-Bail DOC Warrant for Escape Community Custody. The passenger was arrested and booked into jail.  The driver was summoned with a court date and released at the scene.

Police contacted the suspect during a traffic violation and observed signs of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. Following the DUI investigation, the suspect was arrested, transported to the station, and processed for DUI.  NARRATIVE

Police responded to a Hit and Run investigation. While enroute to the scene, dispatch advised that the caller had reported observing the suspect crashing into another vehicle within the parking lot and fleeing the scene on foot. The caller stated that the driver appeared to be under the influence and impaired. Officers set a perimeter, and K9 units responded. Patrol located the suspect and investigated. He was arrested and advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released into the custody of a sober friend.

Missing Vulnerable Adult Investigation

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a call of a Missing, Vulnerable, Elderly Adult Female and determined that the missing victim was suffering from dementia and had wandered away from her home and family. After a search of the traffic cameras, officers contacted the King County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue. The KSCO search teams located the missing female approximately 3 houses north of the location in a back yard trapped in some bushes.

An off-duty officer flagging traffic observed a suspect acting suspiciously around several unoccupied, parked police vehicles. Officers contacted the suspect and discovered he had approximately $15,000 worth of outstanding, confirmed DV Warrants out of Bellevue PD. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect was involved in a road rage incident with the victim.  The suspect pointed a black handgun at the victim and pulled the trigger 3 times, but the gun didn’t discharge.  The suspect then followed the victim to his work at Microsoft.  The vehicle was registered out of Vancouver, Washington.  Upon contact by VPD it was found the vehicle was sold in 2020.  The primary officer of the case continued to follow leads as the vehicle was bought/sold by various people until the suspect was identified.  The primary officer also completed a photomontage confirming the suspect’s involvement.  The primary officer also located the suspect vehicle at a residence in District 4.

The suspect has been harassing his father via text, threatening to hurt him. There have been ongoing issues with both subjects. The suspect refused to tell us where he was. A summons was sent.

We had several calls on a certain subject throughout the day that he was sleeping on sidewalks, partially clothed. Officers repeatedly contacted the suspect, who said he did not need any assistance.

Detectives responded to assist patrol and investigations with the assault call that occurred earlier in the day.  Detectives maintained surveillance and observed the suspect leave the residence in a different car than the one involved in the assault.  Officers stopped the new vehicle and took the suspect into custody, recovering a firearm from the vehicle. He was booked into jail.

A suspect returned to the dealership driving a vehicle he had likely stolen on 04-27-2021 (BPD Case #21-20039).  The suspect is a former employee and was told he could not be there, so he left in the stolen car and proceeded to the second stop of his crime spree (21-20665).

The suspect walked behind the register and opened the till, stealing cash. The suspect pushed the clerk’s shoulder as she was trying to get her phone and call 911. He then left the store, where he went to the third stop of his crime spree (21-20668)

The suspect took the victim’s vehicle after exiting another stolen vehicle. The victim had left the keys in the vehicle, in addition to an AR15 with a silencer in the passenger’s seat. The victim ran after his vehicle when the suspect stole it, grabbed onto a door, and was dragged for about 50 feet.  Renton PD located the vehicle, the AR15 and the suspect in their city. He was booked into jail.

While Officers were completing the above investigation, they heard three gun shots in quick succession coming from a nearby apartment complex. Officers initially suspected it could be the carjacking / Robbery suspect who was still in the area, but evidence discovered later would refute that.  Multiple callers reported hearing gunshots, but the source could not be determined, and nothing was located during an area check.

Officers responded to investigate a 911 hang-up call regarding a female caller screaming and not making sense.  Officers contacted her by phone, but she apologized for calling and said she was ok.  Officers located her in a vehicle and interviewed her and the female driver.  The victim was intoxicated, admitted to being a prostitute, and stated she was “hurt” by the guy she was on a date with.  The victim had no visible injuries and was provided a business card, and a case report was taken.

The involved parties got into a domestic dispute over family matters. The suspect threw the TV remote at his wife, hitting her and causing pain. The suspect also pushed the victim down onto the bed and pinned her down with his body weight, causing more pain. The suspect left the scene in a vehicle before PD responded, but responding officers located and stopped the suspect’s vehicle. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A victim reported today that he had his car prowled on 4/27/21, and there was video of the prowl. The video showed a white Kia with distinctive front-end damage. As the officer departed the address of the Car Prowl call, she observed the suspect vehicle driving in the area. She contacted the driver  and mail was observed in the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded for a search warrant, and the driver was notified that he’d be summoned in the mail.

The reporting party found what appears to possibly be a Cold War-era SKS rifle in the woods in Woodinville while disc-golfing about a month ago. She put it in her trunk and forgot about it until she was at home today in Bellevue. She wanted to turn it in for disposal. The rifle and attached bayonet were extremely rusted, and it was unknown if the rifle was loaded and/or operable.  On-duty Bomb Squad sergeant examined the rifle and found it to be loaded. The rifle was made safe and booked for destruction.

 NARRATIVE

The victim and suspect were co-workers who went to lunch together. The suspect was intoxicated and tried to make advances on the victim and the victim refused. The suspect then tried again, but the victim stopped his advances. The suspect returned home.  Officers arrested the suspect at his apartment, who was passed out inside his parked car. He was arrested and transported to jail.

 NARRATIVE

A victim was from Michigan and here to show jewelry at a weekend jewelry show at the hotel. After the show was over, she and her friends were loading the jewelry into their rental vehicle outside the front of the hotel when the suspects pulled up next to them, pushed them, displayed knives, slashed the victim vehicle’s tire, and stole approximately $3 million dollars in jewelry.  Detectives were called, and the investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to an Armed Robbery with a Knife. Upon arrival, they contacted the victim and determined that the suspect had stolen merchandise from the victim, and when the victim attempted to intervene, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened to stab him. Officers set a perimeter set and requested a K9 unit; however, while incoming units were staging, a responding unit located the suspect downtown. The suspect was arrested without incident. A search following the arrest netted stolen property, the knife used in the robbery, and suspected drug paraphernalia. He was booked into jail.
