The Bellevue Police Department today is asking for the public’s help with its investigation into an attempted stabbing incident that occurred last weekend.
On Sunday, June 28 at approximately 11:36 a.m., Bellevue Officers were dispatched to reports of an attempted stabbing at the 500 block of 110th Ave NE. Bellevue Officers were able to quickly identify and place a 35-year-old male into custody for Assault in the Second Degree.
There is no threat to the public and the investigation is ongoing. However, Bellevue Police are asking the public for help in retrieving more information.
Evidence obtained during the investigation indicated several community members were present during the incident. Law enforcement asks individuals who may have witnessed or captured video evidence from Sunday’s incident to contact the Bellevue Police Department by either emailing bellevuepd@bellevuewa.gov or calling the department’s tipline at 425-452-2564.
