Factoria Blvd at Coal Creek Pkwy

Subjects were stopped for a traffic violation on Factoria at Coal Creek Parkway. Driver was listed as having a suspended license. Officer observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and initiated an investigation. The passenger had a drug pipe, lighter, and trace amount of suspected heroin on tin foil in her possession. Several identification documents of other individuals were discovered in the vehicle along with an extensively used window punch device. Investigation continues.

Warrant Arrest

Officer was on foot patrol in the Mall when she recognized suspect from a previous arrest.  She conducted a records check which revealed an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for DWLS 3rd degree from KCSO (Bail: $500).  Officer arrested suspect, who had a vehicle parked at the mall.  Suspect requested his friend come take custody of his vehicle.  Officer conducted a records check of the friend to verify he had a valid drivers’ license before she released the vehicle to him.  The friend had an outstanding felony arrest warrant from KCSO for DV burglary and DV assault 4th degree (Bail: $60,000).  He also had another felony arrest warrant from the SPD for drugs (Bail: $10,000).  Officer arrested the second located suspected meth in his pocket.  Both subjects booked into jail.

Suspect stole items and refused to give them back to loss prevention. Officers contacted him and he became uncooperative. After a short struggle he was placed into custody and transported to jail.

Unknown suspects pried victim’s deadbolt and entered her apartment between the hours of 0630 and 1430. Nothing was taken. It looked as if they did not touch anything in the apartment. Dog was home and may have scared the suspect away.

Suspect stole an electric razor and razor heads from the store.  He was cooperative and gave items back once caught. Suspect was booked into jail.

Unknown suspect pried dead bolt to a café door and stole cash. Happened sometime overnight.

120th Ave NE and NE 12th

Subject was driving w/b on NE 12th going through the intersection that was being monitored by an off duty Officer.  She then stopped completely in the roadway blocking traffic.  Officer contacted the driver and noticed immediately that she appeared impaired.  He was eventually able to get her safely onto the side of the road.  Subject was arrested for DUI and transported back to booking.

Officers observed a motorcycle with no plate left in the middle of the street with nobody around. They approached the bike at about the same time the suspect approached it. Suspect ended up having warrants from Bellevue PD and Redmond PD. Suspect was arrested and booked on Bellevue PD warrants.

Suspect did not pass swim test and told not to go into the deep water. Suspect caused a verbal disturbance and was trespassed from the park. Suspect set up her chair in the lot refusing to leave. She was eventually arrested for Trespassing and booked into jail.

Female was contacted at the apartment complex for being intoxicated and causing a disturbance.  Her aunt came and picked her up and took her home.  About an hour later Officers were dispatched to the location location for reports of the suspect assaulting her aunt and throwing things in the house.  Officers arrived and arrested the suspect, who was booked into jail for for DV assault 4 and Malicious Mischief.

Officers were on a walkthrough of the Downtown Library.  When returning to their vehicle they located a subject passed out behind the wheel in his parked automobile.  Subject had an arrest warrant.  Subject was booked into jail.

Suspect assaulted the victim causing the victim to seek medical treatment that required stitches.   Hospital contacted the police.  The victim stated the argument was over stolen property.  Suspect was contacted and he admitted to the assault.  Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Subject came into records to complain about a trespass notice he had.  After running the subject it was discovered that he had a Felony warrant out of Seattle. Officer arrived and subject was placed under arrest and transported to Jail on the warrant.

Officer observed the subject in a vehicle and observed traffic violations.  A stop was conducted and the occupants were identified. Suspect had two misdemeanor warrants and was arrested.

Subject was contacted during a traffic stop at the 800 block of 140th Ave SE. Wants/Warrant check revealed the subject had a Seattle Municipal warrant for harassment. Subject was arrested and booked into jail.

Subject was observed harassing patrons at the bar and was requested to leave the establishment. A barkeep recognized the subject as an individual who was trespassed from the business two days prior. The subject was contact outside of the bar and arrested for trespassing. Subject was booked into jail.

1st and 2nd Shift officers responded to multiple calls throughout the day regarding the subject.  The calls ranged from suspicious person calls to Welfare Checks as the subject has mental issues and was causing disturbances around downtown.  After about the 6th call for service on the subject, the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) was requested and responded.  Subsequent to the MCTs arrival and intervention, there were no more calls for service regarding the subject.

Both subjects were arguing in a vehicle when the suspect slammed on the brakes while driving and assaulted the victim.  The suspect was arrested for DV Assault and booked into jail.

Officers assisted the Transportation Department with several temporary road closures at various locations downtown from, 0730-1630.  A commercial film company was in town to film commercial footage for the KIA car company.

Officer recognized the subject and arrested him on Bellevue Misdemeanor Warrants for DV Malicious Mischief and DV Order Violation, $10,000 bail.  He was booked into jail.

Traffic Accident

12400-12800 NE 8 ST

The driver of a Mercedes Benz GL350 was driving eastbound on NE 8th ST approaching 124th AVE NE when the driver of Kia sedan ran the red light southbound on 124 AVE NE at NE 8 ST causing the driver of the Mercedes to strike the side of the Kia, causing life threatening injuries to the rear passenger.  The driver of the Mercedes stopped and momentarily jumped out of the car, but never put the car in park causing the car to roll eastbound on NE 8th ST with the driver’s son secured in a car seat in the back.  The driver ran alongside of the car for approximately 1 block before falling and getting injured.  The vehicle continued to coast and accelerate down the hill on NE 8th ST, with the young child still trapped in the seat, striking two trees and knocking them down at the 12800 block and the turning into a Lincoln sedan broadside.  The vehicle then came to rest at the entrance of an apartment complex.  Officers arrived and provided first aid until the fire department arrived and transported the injured occupant to the hospital.  The driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital for treatment.  The child in the unoccupied vehicle was unharmed.
