Subjects were stopped for a traffic violation on Factoria at Coal Creek Parkway. Driver was listed as having a suspended license. Officer observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and initiated an investigation. The passenger had a drug pipe, lighter, and trace amount of suspected heroin on tin foil in her possession. Several identification documents of other individuals were discovered in the vehicle along with an extensively used window punch device. Investigation continues. |

NARRATIVE
Officer was on foot patrol in the Mall when she recognized suspect from a previous arrest. She conducted a records check which revealed an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for DWLS 3rd degree from KCSO (Bail: $500). Officer arrested suspect, who had a vehicle parked at the mall. Suspect requested his friend come take custody of his vehicle. Officer conducted a records check of the friend to verify he had a valid drivers’ license before she released the vehicle to him. The friend had an outstanding felony arrest warrant from KCSO for DV burglary and DV assault 4th degree (Bail: $60,000). He also had another felony arrest warrant from the SPD for drugs (Bail: $10,000). Officer arrested the second located suspected meth in his pocket. Both subjects booked into jail. |

Subject was driving w/b on NE 12th going through the intersection that was being monitored by an off duty Officer. She then stopped completely in the roadway blocking traffic. Officer contacted the driver and noticed immediately that she appeared impaired. He was eventually able to get her safely onto the side of the road. Subject was arrested for DUI and transported back to booking. |

Female was contacted at the apartment complex for being intoxicated and causing a disturbance. Her aunt came and picked her up and took her home. About an hour later Officers were dispatched to the location location for reports of the suspect assaulting her aunt and throwing things in the house. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect, who was booked into jail for for DV assault 4 and Malicious Mischief. |

1st and 2nd Shift officers responded to multiple calls throughout the day regarding the subject. The calls ranged from suspicious person calls to Welfare Checks as the subject has mental issues and was causing disturbances around downtown. After about the 6th call for service on the subject, the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) was requested and responded. Subsequent to the MCTs arrival and intervention, there were no more calls for service regarding the subject. |

NARRATIVE
The driver of a Mercedes Benz GL350 was driving eastbound on NE 8th ST approaching 124th AVE NE when the driver of Kia sedan ran the red light southbound on 124 AVE NE at NE 8 ST causing the driver of the Mercedes to strike the side of the Kia, causing life threatening injuries to the rear passenger. The driver of the Mercedes stopped and momentarily jumped out of the car, but never put the car in park causing the car to roll eastbound on NE 8th ST with the driver’s son secured in a car seat in the back. The driver ran alongside of the car for approximately 1 block before falling and getting injured. The vehicle continued to coast and accelerate down the hill on NE 8th ST, with the young child still trapped in the seat, striking two trees and knocking them down at the 12800 block and the turning into a Lincoln sedan broadside. The vehicle then came to rest at the entrance of an apartment complex. Officers arrived and provided first aid until the fire department arrived and transported the injured occupant to the hospital. The driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital for treatment. The child in the unoccupied vehicle was unharmed. |
