BFD request police assistance in reference to a shopping cart that had been set on fire near the playground at Highland Park.  The fire resulted in damage to the fence around the playground.  No Suspect information.

 NARRATIVE

Both suspects stole items from a store and assaulted a Loss Prevention Officer as they attempted to flee. Both subjects then fled on foot and a foot pursuit ensued with Security.  Both subjects jumped off of the 2nd level of the parking garage to the ground below, then fled into the Downtown Park. Ofc. Bradley and his K-9 partner Ozzy arrived on scene to track into the park.  One suspect then jumped into a waiting car and fled, hitting a vehicle in the parking garage, then fleeing at a high rate of speed on S/B Bellevue Way NE.  Suspect lost control of his speeding vehicle and slammed into a stopped vehicle on NE 4 ST, then attempted to flee again.  The suspect stopped and was taken into custody by Officers. Additional Officers entered a nearby grocery store and located the female suspect hiding in the women’s bathroom in a stall with a second unrelated female who had a felony arrest warrant.  The suspect’s vehicle was impounded for a search warrant.  Both suspects were booked into jail on numerous charges.

Two suspects entered victim’s home through an open window and stole wallet, credit cards, car keys and vehicle. Both juvenile suspects were identified, located, and arrested later that day with the assistance of school resource Officer.

Pedestrian became involved in a physical fight with a motorist. Pedestrian then punched the car window breaking it and cutting his arm. Suspect pedestrian was located inside the mall. Both subjects were treated by Medics. Both refused to pursue charges. Report taken for documentation.

 NARRATIVE

Victim female was wearing a pendant.  Suspect approached the female in the parking lot to the complex and asked for directions.  When the victim turned, the suspect grabbed onto her necklace and ripped the pendant off her neck.  The suspect then fled on foot. Detectives investigating.

A group of juvenile suspects assaulted the victim and the victim ran to a nearby store.  The suspects then broke out the window of the store, then entered the store.  The victim hid behind the register as the suspects tried to attack him. Owner of the store wished to pursue charges for Malicious Mischief.  Detectives following up.

The security guard at the apartments called to report that a group of males were threatening to throw rocks at him.  The group ran away.  A few moments later a victim called 911 to report her window had been broken.  Four suspects were detained and identified by Officers.

Subject was contacted by bicycle Officers when he appeared to be casing cars in the mall parking lot.  He lied about his name.  Suspect’s real identity was determined and he was found to have a felony warrant out for his arrest.

Numerous callers reported an intoxicated male in the road by Sunset Elementary screaming at cars and pointing his hand like a gun stating he was going to kill them. Officers located suspect. Suspect was arrested for making threats to the school principal. Suspect was booked into jail on Felony Harassment and Resisting arrest charges.

 NARRATIVE

Caller located a swastika spray painted in orange on a footbridge behind the above address. The word “muerte” was also written by the swastika. The trail leads to different neighborhoods in the area. The land was determined to be the city owned. City maintenance crew notified and will clean up. No suspect information.

After several complaints regarding the subject’s loud running generator and numerous citations for parking and RV more than 24 hours and violation of noise ordinance, Officers contacted the subject, who had had a warrant out of Snohomish county. The subject was arrested and transported to jail.

Male and female got into an argument about the male half being out late drinking the night before their wedding.  The female became upset and threw a plate of spaghetti and other items at her fiancé.  The male had injuries that were consistent with the events.  The female was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Vehicle was traveling eastbound on Forest Drive at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle veered off the roadway onto the left shoulder and hit a berm. The vehicle then launched in the air approximately 20 feet, struck numerous trees, spun around and came to rest facing westbound.  A nearby Officer heard the crash and responded. Officer found a female lying unconscious in the driver’s seat and observed the vehicle catching fire.  Officer extinguished the fire and administered aid to the driver. Driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Drugs or alcohol are suspected to be a factor in the crash.

Downtown Officers contacted two suspects casing homes. One suspect provided a fake name and was determined to have a parole warrant with a primary offense of mail theft.  The second suspect was found in possession of suspected heroin.

Father and son assaulted their mother when she would not turn her music down.  The mother ran out of the home and called 911. Father and son were both arrested. Father was booked into jail and son into youth center.

Victim was confronted by four to five Hispanic males. They surrounded the victim pushing him into NE 8th.  The victim was then stabbed in the arm.  The suspects fled.  Detectives investigating.
