Security called about subjects in a vehicle using drugs. Officers arrived as the vehicle was leaving and a traffic stop was conducted. Driver was arrested for a suspended license and a registration violation. A store loss prevention Officer contacted the Officers and reported a theft of a $2,500 handbag by the passenger in the vehicle. Passenger was arrested for theft and booked. |

NARRATIVE
Security reported subjects getting out of a stolen vehicle parked in the garage. The suspect entered a different vehicle displaying license plates that did not match. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained two individuals. Officers recovered a firearm under the drivers’ seat of the vehicle, which was confirmed as stolen. Driver was a felon and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and felon in possession of a firearm. |

NARRATIVE
Witness called 911 to advise somebody in a vehicle had just rammed the Mormon Temple gates. Vehicle then sped off. While officers were on scene investigating, the vehicle returned to the scene being driven in a reckless manner. A high risk vehicle stop was executed by officers. The suspect told Officers that he had just gotten hired as a maintenance worker at the temple and was upset and began driving around recklessly, but denied hitting the gate. Suspect was arrested for Reckless Driving. |

Officers responded to the parking lot of the Factoria Walmart for a report of a purse snatch. The victim placed her purse in a shopping cart and was putting groceries in her car when the suspects drove up and grabbed her purse. The victim attempted to retrieve her purse, but the suspects began to speed away and pushed the victim to the ground causing a minor injury to her elbow. An area check was conducted but the suspects were not located. |

Officers contacted a male sitting in his car at the Newport Hills Park and Ride. He voluntarily provided his name and while the officers were talking to him they saw a baggie containing a white powder in the center console. The male was arrested for possession of drugs. |

While in custody and attending a doctor’s appointment at Children’s Hospital, the juvenile subject ran away from the Juvenile Correction Officer who was escorting him back to a transport vehicle. The subject was unrestrained. Suspect was not located. Warrants for the subject’s original charges were placed back into WACIC/NCIC by the juvenile correctional facility. |

Caller who lives in Aberdeen advised he met what he thought was a 22 year-old on a dating app. The two exchanged explicit photos and then the caller was told by the other person that they were under 18. The caller then received a phone call from parents of the allegedly underage person threatening to call the Police. The caller contacted BPD because the allegedly underage person said he lived in Bellevue. It was determined this was a scam as the “parents” kept commenting there were ways to handle this other than them contacting the Police. This is a common scam used to get money from people. |

The victim confronted the suspect at a campsite located in the woods at Wilburton Park. The suspect threw the victim to the ground and assaulted her. The victim used dog repellant spray to stop the attack and inadvertently sprayed herself in the process. The victim ran away from the campsite and called police. The suspect was located by officers in the Men’s restroom of the park washing the dog repellant off. Both subjects were treated by EMS. The suspect was taken into custody and booked. |

The victim called 911 to report that a passenger of a vehicle pointed a black handgun at her while she was dropping off a fare. While Officers were investigating, a second call came in. The victim was riding his bicycle when a dark sedan approached him and a white male from the backseat yelled at the RP to give the suspect the bike. The victim noticed that one of the males in the back seat was pointing a firearm at him. The vehicle was located and all occupants were arrested. |

Loss prevention reported a female stealing clothing and jewelry. Officer arrived and observed the female suspect getting into a U-Haul with a male. He contacted and detained the female. A check revealed a no contact order was in place between male and female. The female was arrested for theft, and the male was arrested for violation of the order. Both were booked into jail separately. |
