Officer located a suspicious occupied vehicle in the rear parking lot of the hotel. Officer conducted a stop on the vehicle and the female jumped out of the passenger side and attempted to jump back in and then back out. The driver had a suspended license. The female passenger had misdemeanor warrants out of Snohomish County for DWLS 3rd and DUI. The female was arrested and transferred to Snohomish County.

A suspect entered the gas station through the east door while the night time attendant cleaned the gas pumps.  The suspect snuck behind the counter and stole lottery tickets.

Missing Adult

Staff at the assisted living facility called when they were unable to find one of the residents.  Subject was entered into the database as a missing person but was found in a nearby park a short time later.  He was in good health when located.  A report was taken for documentation.

Suspect grabbed the victim’s phone from her hands and smashed it on the ground. He then grabbed her wrist and pulled on her purse strap, causing the victim to fall down. Suspect was later located and arrested without incident. Suspect is known to victim. Victim did not require medical attention. Suspect booked into jail.

Mercer Island Police asked for our assistance contacting a suspect wanted for felony domestic violence warrants. Officers attempted to contact him at a Bellevue hotel. The suspect fled prior to police arrival was not located.

Kirkland PD requested K-9 assistance with a robbery call on a trail in south Kirkland. A Bellevue K-9 arrived and determined the crime occurred in Bellevue. Bellevue officers responded and contacted the victim. The victim rode his bike on the trail when the suspect approached him on foot. The suspect caused the victim to fall off the bike. The suspect took the bike and rode away. A KPD Sgt. detained the suspect some distance away from the crime scene. The victim’s bike was returned to him. The suspect was booked into jail.

Homeowner came home to find 2 subjects in her home.  She saw them grab her laptop and run out of the house and over fences.  Perimeter was set and K-9 tracked.  No suspects were located.

A client had her public benefits reduced and left a threatening note at the facility.  The Officer contacted the shelter where the suspect was staying however she was not present. Report taken.

On 07/30/18 the victim reported via telephone that he had received a phone call from a female with an accent named “Officer Lisa” of the Bellevue Police Department advising him that he would be arrested if he didn’t pay $18k in Google play gift cards.  The suspect cloned the number of the Bellevue Police non emergency line.  The victim provided financial information and an undisclosed amount of gift card information over the phone. This is a known scam.

Suspect grabbed a necklace from the victim’s neck, ran out of the store, and fled in a vehicle.  There was no injury to the victim.  Follow up pending.

Juvenile suspect who had outstanding felony burglary warrant contacted at the mall by investigating officers. After a short foot pursuit and area check, the suspect was located at a nearby business and taken into custody without incident.

Suspect was identified as theft suspect from a gas station earlier in the week and was seen exiting a Metro bus within Crossroads Mall area. Suspect was known to be actively trespassed from the Crossroads Mall and was later arrested by the investigating Officer.

Suspect was observed by Loss Prevention on video surveillance concealing items in her purse. Suspect was detained by loss prevention outside of the store.

Three individuals were contacted in a parking garage smoking suspected heroin.  All were contacted and detained. First suspect was taken into custody for trespass and making false statements. Second suspect was summonsed for paraphernalia. Third suspect was booked into SCORE Jail

Male subject had an encampment in a wooded area close to the above address. The camp had a wood structure. On 07/26/18, Officers posted a notice to vacate. On 08/01/18, Officer returned to find the campsite cleaned up and the wood structure disassembled. The subject was offered services during both contacts and stated he would be possibly moving to the Duvall area.

Suspect’s brother called from out of state after brother had called his mother in Bellevue and heard screaming in the background.  Officers arrived and contacted both parties.  Suspect threw a bottle of alcohol at his mother. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail for domestic violence assault.

Hit and Run

After a report of a Hit and Run involving two vehicles, traffic officers spotted the suspect a few blocks away.  Further investigation confirmed that officers found the suspect. The suspect vehicle also had front end damage consistent with what was reported. The driver was subsequently arrested for Hit and Run.

Wanted suspect was contacted by police in the parking lot of the apartments and arrested. A search revealed .28 grams of suspected heroin. The suspect was booked for the warrant, drug charges pending.

The suspect was contacted by loss prevention within store because of a disturbance resulting from the decline on suspects credit card while attempting a purchase. The suspect assaulted loss prevention agents and Police were called. The suspect was arrested for assault and booked into jail.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for expired tabs and having a fraudulent trip permit. The rear male passenger was identified after he admitted to knowingly displaying a fraudulent trip permit. The male had a  warrant out of Shoreline and was booked into jail for the warrant.

Officers contacted the subject and observed signs of intoxication. Suspect admitted to drinking in the car while driving.  Subject was arrested for DUI.  Suspect was later booked into jail.

Suspect and victim were arguing while driving in Bellevue. Suspect assaulted his wife. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Suspect came to BPD pick up his belongings from a prior arrest in Kirkland. Officers discovered he had a warrant out of Kirkland and arrested him. Suspect said he knew he had the warrant and was going to take care of it after he got his belongings. Suspect was turned over to Kirkland PD on the warrant.

WSP reported a shooting at the I-90 and I-405 interchange. The suspect shot at a FedEx truck driver. Suspect was later located near his residence in Bellevue by BPD Officers and arrested and turned over to WSP.

A gas station employee called and advised that a customer was “Going nuts” inside the business.  The subject was acting erratically and placed approximately $300 worth of merchandise on the counter before taking a pair of sunglasses and exiting without paying for them.  Officers contacted the subject outside the store and observed that he had a steering wheel in his hand.  He was resistive to their efforts to detain him, and he was eventually taken to the ground and arrested.  Suspect was booked into jail.

While at a store on an unrelated call, BPD Officer observed the suspect assault loss prevention Officers while attempting to commit a theft. The Officer chased the suspect on foot, and with assistance from other Officers arrested the suspect, who had two outstanding arrest warrants. The suspect was booked into jail.

Victim and Suspect were riding in a hotel elevator.  Suspect told the victim she had a spider on her back.  Victim told him to brush it off.  The suspect said the spider fell down the back of her pants and then put his hand down the back of her pants.  The suspect fled prior to police arrival and was not located.

Officer stopped a car for a traffic violation.  The driver/suspect was talking on phone with female at the time of the stop, who driver said was his girlfriend and the owner of the car.  A records check indicated the driver was the respondent in a protection order and the registered owner and female who the driver was talking to is the protected person.  Suspect was arrested for the order violation.

Multiple citizens reported a vehicle that was damaged and stopped in the roadway.  Officers responded and determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired.  He was transported to Bellevue Booking for processing, and a WSP Trooper responded to conduct a drug recognition evaluation.  A subsequent search warrant was completed.  A charge of DUI drugs is pending.

Victim’s vehicle was prowled at that trailhead. When the victim returned home, they discovered that their house had also been burglarized.

A vehicle was parked in the sloped driveway of the address.  The parking brake failed and the vehicle rolled in reverse down the private driveway, across the roadway, then down an embankment into an occupied residence.  The vehicle went into an occupied bedroom causing structural damage.  BFD responded to check on the integrity of the structure.  No persons in the residence were injured.

The victim was walking at the above location with a friend when group of individuals whom she knew from Bellevue High School surrounded her. One suspect assaulted the victim, while two other suspects used the opportunity to steal her purse and contents. The suspects fled on foot. A perimeter was established and a K-9 track led to the suspect’s residence.  Suspects were contacted at the location and arrested.
