An officer responded to a report of a found wallet and purse.  The officer determined that the items were taken during an earlier robbery (18-43463).  He returned the contents of the purse to the victim.  A supplemental report was completed.

Domestic Disturbance

The victim was a few hours late in picking up a child from the suspect.  The victim parked his vehicle in the suspect’s driveway.  The suspect denied access to the child and proceeded to repeatedly strike the victim’s windshield with a baseball bat, shattering the glass. The victim drew his pistol and pointed it at the suspect from inside of the vehicle.  Officers responded.  Two guns were booked as evidence. The suspect was arrested for malicious mischief 3^rd degree and booked into jail.  The child was released to the father.

The victim was contacted by the suspect via telephone who identified himself as a Bellevue police officer.  The suspect spoke with an East Indian accent.  The suspect cloned the police department’s phone number, 425-452-6917.  The suspect convinced the victim to wire money to a bank in Florida.

The victim’s family member called the police to report that the victim’s ex-boyfriend was at the residence in violation of a No-Contact Order.  The suspect was contacted and detained a few blocks away.  The suspect was placed under arrest for the order violation and booked into jail.

Suspect became angry with his girlfriend due to another male giving her attention. Suspect assaulted his girlfriend.  A bystander intervened and was also assaulted by the suspect. Suspect was arrested for assault and booked into jail. Victim was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Caller reported the suspect chasing the victim while swinging a machete.  Victim locked himself in a nearby car dealership. A responding Officer located the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident.  Suspect was booked into jail on Assault 1 charges.

Employee at this location called police because a subject was harassing customers in the parking lot.  Subject was contacted and was found to have a warrant for Criminal Trespass 1^st.  Suspect was arrested and booked into jail on warrant.

Community Event

The Community Services Unit along with officers from Bikes, SWAT, Crisis Response Team, and Motors attended a number of community events in celebration of National Night Out. We handed out crime prevention materials, items for the kids, and fielded questions from the citizens. There were six block parties/community gatherings around Bellevue. Chief Arpin and Captain Sanabria and Tarantino also attended the events. The community members were very supportive and appreciative of our presence. We partnered with Fire, Community Development, and IT who also attended some of the events.

BPD was called to the above listed location where a person appeared to be slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle. Officers located the individual, who was now trying to push is vehicle out of the roadway, and learned that the driver had two misdemeanor warrants. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Suspect and victim are married and visiting from India.  During an argument the suspect assaulted the victim.  Hotel staff witnessed part of the incident.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect took merchandise out of the store without paying.  Staff followed the suspect on foot to the area of NE 8th St. and 102nd Ave NE where he was detained and eventually arrested by police.  Suspect was booked into jail.

Victim and suspect are classmates at Bellevue College.  After class the suspect and victim went to a park. Victim wanted to leave and the suspect tried kissing victim’s neck and cheek, and she pushed him away. The suspect then assaulted the victim. Victim then drove home and called 911.  Report taken and attempt to contact the suspect was unsuccessful.

Suspect was contacted as the driver on a traffic stop.  Suspect provided false name, and later admitted to giving a different name because he knew he had a warrant. Suspect was found to have a felony warrant and was booked into jail.

Suspect and Victim got married earlier today.  They both got drunk tonight and female called 911 to report that her new husband assaulted her during an argument.  Husband/suspect was booked into jail for DV Assault 4.

The business received an e-mail threat to their general e-mail account.  The BPD bomb squad investigated the incident and facilitated a search of the building with the property management. A copy of the email was analyzed and forwarded to the bomb squad for review.  Incident documented.

Officers were dispatched to the store parking lot for a report of a necklace snatch robbery.  The victim was an elderly female white who had her necklace ripped from her neck while walking in the parking lot. The suspects then fled the area. Detectives investigating.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 14000 NE 8^th St. for a report of a second chain snatch robbery.  The victim was a female who had her necklace ripped from her neck while traversing stairs at a business complex. The suspects from the case mentioned above approached the victim on foot at approximately 4:31pm and ripped the necklace from the victim.  After taking the necklace, the suspect fled on foot in the direction of NE 8^th St.  The suspect description was the same as the suspects in the first incident.  Detectives are investigating.

Officers were dispatched to the grocery store for a report of a third chain snatch robbery.  The victim was a female and she also had her necklace ripped from her neck while walking near the sidewalk of 140^th Ave NE.  The initial investigation revealed that at 4:34pm the same suspects from the first two incidents approached the victim and ripped her necklace away.  The suspects fled back to the area they were dropped off at. Detectives were notified and took over the investigation.

Subject was stealing items from a store in mall. He exited store to Skybridge #3 and was contacted by security.  During the contact, the suspect decided to jump the railing in attempt to flee. He fell 20+ ft and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  Aid treated him and transported to the hospital. Suspect will be summoned for the theft charge.

Suspect arrived at victim’s house argued with her about the ongoing divorce process the victim had started, and then assaulted her.  He then left the house, breaking the screen door on the way out, and left in a vehicle prior to police arrival. Charges for assault and malicious mischief are being forwarded to Prosecutor.

An encampment complaint was forwarded to the bike unit.  One subject was contacted and told he could not camp in city parks.  Subject stated he would move his tent by the end of the day.

Victim was a customer at the store who was standing outside the store when Suspect came up and started talking to the victim. An argument ensued and the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened the victim. The victim ran into the store and called 911.  The suspect never came into the store, and he left on foot in an unknown direction. Officers responded however the suspect was not located.

Maintenance worker was changing out a card reader on a pump and located a skimmer. Officer took the skimmer for evidence. No suspects and unknown how long it has been there.

Suspect was contacted for Theft after stealing from the Deli.  Upon contact it was found that he had several warrants out for his arrest.  The suspect was arrested on the warrants and booked into jail.

A highly intoxicated male fell off a retaining wall ledge to the sidewalk approximately 20ft below.  Subject was transported to the hospital by fire and appears to have non-life-threatening injuries. Police report taken for information.

Redmond Police requested assistance while dealing with a subject who was reportedly in his apartment and threatening to shoot people. The subject fled the area on foot prior to police arrival.  Redmond P.D. later took him into custody just across the border from Bellevue for an outstanding arrest warrant.

Suspect stole items from a store.  When security attempted to detain him a struggle ensued and the suspect accidentally cut himself on his arm with his box cutter.  The suspect was arrested, but needed stitches for his laceration and was released to a private ambulance and transported to the hospital.  Charges forwarded to the prosecutor.

Suspect and Victim were involved in a road rage incident.  Victim alleged that the suspect passed her and then “brake checked” her, exited his vehicle and punched out her window.  Suspect alleged that Victim brake checked him, he exited his vehicle and approached her as her window was partially down and knocked on the window, accidentally breaking it and stated that he would pay to fix it. Case forwarded to prosecutor for review.

Suspect was acting erratically in the store, opening items and eating them throughout the store. Officers located the suspect and when they attempted to contact him, the suspect reached into his pockets and refused to take them out.  The suspect resisted arrest and was taken into custody and booked into jail.

Callers reported a single vehicle rollover crash just north of the intersection at NE 8th St. & 156th AVE NE.  It was determined that the vehicle involved had only one occupant who was treated at the scene for minor injuries.  There were no signs of impairment observed by officers.  Northbound 156th Ave. NE was closed for a short period of time until a tow truck arrived to remove the vehicle.

The suspect stole the keys to a customer’s Mercedes and then stole the vehicle. Vehicle was entered as stolen.
