NARRATIVE
The victim was a few hours late in picking up a child from the suspect. The victim parked his vehicle in the suspect’s driveway. The suspect denied access to the child and proceeded to repeatedly strike the victim’s windshield with a baseball bat, shattering the glass. The victim drew his pistol and pointed it at the suspect from inside of the vehicle. Officers responded. Two guns were booked as evidence. The suspect was arrested for malicious mischief 3rd degree and booked into jail. The child was released to the father. |

The Community Services Unit along with officers from Bikes, SWAT, Crisis Response Team, and Motors attended a number of community events in celebration of National Night Out. We handed out crime prevention materials, items for the kids, and fielded questions from the citizens. There were six block parties/community gatherings around Bellevue. Chief Arpin and Captain Sanabria and Tarantino also attended the events. The community members were very supportive and appreciative of our presence. We partnered with Fire, Community Development, and IT who also attended some of the events. |

Officers were dispatched to the area of 14000 NE 8th St. for a report of a second chain snatch robbery. The victim was a female who had her necklace ripped from her neck while traversing stairs at a business complex. The suspects from the case mentioned above approached the victim on foot at approximately 4:31pm and ripped the necklace from the victim. After taking the necklace, the suspect fled on foot in the direction of NE 8th St. The suspect description was the same as the suspects in the first incident. Detectives are investigating. |

NARRATIVE
Officers were dispatched to the grocery store for a report of a third chain snatch robbery. The victim was a female and she also had her necklace ripped from her neck while walking near the sidewalk of 140th Ave NE. The initial investigation revealed that at 4:34pm the same suspects from the first two incidents approached the victim and ripped her necklace away. The suspects fled back to the area they were dropped off at. Detectives were notified and took over the investigation. |

Subject was stealing items from a store in mall. He exited store to Skybridge #3 and was contacted by security. During the contact, the suspect decided to jump the railing in attempt to flee. He fell 20+ ft and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Aid treated him and transported to the hospital. Suspect will be summoned for the theft charge. |
