The employees kept the suspect from entering and called 911. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived but was eventually stopped on SR 520. Kirkland PD responded and took custody of suspect. |

NARRATIVE
The suspect went to the tow yard in an attempt to get his car that was towed by his HOA. The company would not let him get the car. The suspect got a large chain from the back of his vehicle and started swinging it around as he threatened employees. The suspect left before officers arrived. Officers responded to the suspect’s residence. About 20 minutes later, the suspect arrived in a vehicle and officers were able to block him in. The suspect refused to exit the vehicle or roll down the window and ignored repeated requests to do so over the PA system. Officers eventually broke out two windows and extricated the suspect from the car. The suspect was booked into jail. |

Loss Prevention witnessed the suspect as she selected items and went to the fitting rooms. When she emerged she was wearing different clothing had reusable bags full of items, and attempted to pay for a few additional items that she had selected. After her credit card was declined, the suspect began to walk towards the exit doors with the bags of merchandise. She was contacted by Loss Prevention and detained. The suspect was booked into jail and charged with retail theft. |
