An employee reported an unwanted subject at the location arguing with another employee. The employee told the first responding officer the subject brandished and pointed a firearm at them. The employee fled the area and hid in a storage closet. A description and photo were disseminated, and the subject was contacted and detained a short time later. Shortly after being arrested, the subject told the investigating officer there was video of the incident on his phone. The officer viewed the video and determined the subject never had a gun or made gestures consistent with having a gun in his hand. The charge was determined to be unfounded and the subject was released at the scene. At this time, there is no reason to believe the store employee lied about what she saw. |

Two weapons were recovered. Both suspects were arrested and booked into jail. |

An officer was driving behind the suspect vehicle checking its plate when the vehicle quickly pulled into a parking lot and crashed into a large corporate sign. The driver got out of the vehicle and took off running, however, forgot to put the car in park and it rolled over his own leg. The driver then resumed running away on foot, dropping a backpack he was carrying. Officer chased suspect on foot and found him hiding on the ground a couple blocks away. Officers arrested the suspect without incident. A search turned up suspected drugs and forged IDs. The suspect also had outstanding warrants. He was arrested and booked into jail. |
