Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that the suspect had been formally trespassed from the location for the same behavior approximately an hour ago. Police responded to the above business in reference to a commercial alarm. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that the business had been burglarized and a witness had observed the unknown suspect fleeing eastbound. A K-9 track was initiated; however, the suspect could not be located. The investigating officer processed the scene for evidence and requested the surveillance video.  The investigation is ongoing.

Hit & Run

On 7/29/19 an officer assisting with a collision investigation heard and witnessed a hit and run in the parking lot.  The suspect saw the officer and failed to stop as commanded by him.  He then attempted to stop the suspect using his emergency lights and siren.  The suspect failed to yield.  With Washington State Patrol assistance, the suspect stopped on the off-ramp of I-90 east at Lakemont Blvd. The suspect was arrested for hit and run.  She was also found to be DUI.  The suspect was transported to the hospital for evaluation and released to a sober friend.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a knife at Highland Skate Park. The victim reported the suspect pulled a weapon as they argued. The suspect was trying to instigate a fight.  At one point the suspect called the victim a racial slur.  An officer located the suspect at approximately 15:58 hours, he was positively identified, arrested and booked into jail for malicious harassment.

As an officer arrived on another call, a shoplifting suspect was just exiting a store.  The suspect saw the patrol car and jumped into the bushes with two bags full of merchandise that was stolen.  An observant Security Guard advised the officer of the female hiding in the bushes and the officer challenged her to come out.  The officer observed the two full bags with tags still on them.  The officer detained the female, investigated and found that the bags contained $1200 in merchandise.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect stole merchandise from the store and was detained by loss prevention. The officer arrived and investigated.  The suspect was arrested and made false claims to avoid going to jail. The suspect was cleared and booked into jail for theft and obstruction.

The victim accidentally dropped her car keys in the parking lot while reporting for work and her car was stolen.  Surveillance video allowed officers to obtain a suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

Police contacted the suspect while investigating a two-vehicle car collision. The investigating officer determined that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol/drug consumption while driving. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Suspicious Activity

Police responded to the above location to assist Bellevue Fire. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that Puget Sound Energy and BFD were called to the scene to investigate a possible gas leak coming from the empty apartment. Upon making entry, BFD discovered that an unknown suspect had turned on all the burners to the stove and appeared to be attempting to fill the apartment with natural gas, possibly to start a fire or cause an explosion. Bellevue Fire neutralized the natural gas threat.  Police contacted the apartment management and was able to contact and interview the resident who has access. The investigating officer determined that the suspect is a vulnerable adult who was not intent on hurting anyone within the apartment complex. The officer also interviewed the suspect’s caregiver, confirming that the suspect is receiving adequate care.

Police contacted the suspect for a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the investigating officers discovered that the suspect had assaulted his mother and fled the residence. The suspect was located a short distance away. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to the above address in reference to a home invasion robbery with a handgun. Upon arrival, the responding officers discovered that the suspect had fled prior to the police arriving. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers contacted the suspect for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that in the course of being disciplined by her parents, the suspect assaulted her mother. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers contacted the suspect for a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that the suspect had assaulted her husband. She was arrested. During the investigation, the suspect’s parents showed up at the location and decided to interject themselves into the disturbance. Despite being asked to leave by the victim and given multiple chances to do so, the parents refused to comply with the officer’s lawful requests and stated, “You’ll have to arrest us to get us to leave.” They were arrested.  All three were booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect during a traffic stop.  The suspect was in the company of his sister and two young children. The officer determined that suspect had an outstanding warrant out of Everett PD and a canceled title on his motor vehicle. The suspect’s sister advised that she was not able to care for her children alone and needed her brother’s help. The suspect was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date for his criminal traffic violation and advised to take care of his outstanding warrant. The suspect released at the scene with his family.

Officers contacted the suspect for a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that the suspect is a respondent in a no-contact order and was sharing a hotel room with the petitioner in the order, her husband.  She had assaulted him during their argument. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Upon arrival, the investigating officers determined that while arguing with her husband, the suspect had assaulted him and caused criminal damage to their vehicle.  The victim was uncooperative, refused to provide a written statement, and refused to be photographed. She was arrested and booked into jail.

Two 911 calls came in about a man in his 20’s acting erratically, screaming, pointing, and walking around.    The description matched the earlier report where the subject who refused to speak with officers.  The second caller reported subject was now nude.  Officers arrived and detained subject who had to be held to the ground to prevent him from injuring himself or others.  He was transported to the hospital.

An officer served a search warrant on a vehicle that was impounded the week prior. The officer located a loaded handgun with a 30-round extended magazine, 30 grams of suspected heroin, 56 grams of suspected meth, 1 gram of suspected crack, miscellaneous pills, and identity theft documents.  Additional charges will be forwarded to prosecutor pending follow-up.

Police contacted the suspect for an outstanding warrant. The investigating officer confirmed the warrant out of Bothell PD. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted a suspect during a car theft in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect was detained at the scene and identified by the victims as one of the suspects who attacked them while trying to steal their vehicle. Witnesses reported a second suspect fleeing southbound through the park toward NE 8 St.  A third suspect was observed driving away with a victim’s stolen vehicle. A K9 track was initiated, but unsuccessful. The third suspect and the stolen vehicle were not located. The first suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Youth Center.

Police contacted the suspect during a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that 2 subjects within the bar had started a fight and were out with security. Both subjects were trespassed from the property. Approximately 15 mins later, the suspect returns to the property prompting a call from security. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to the above location for a welfare check. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that extremely intoxicated suspect had threatened to kill his girlfriend and 4 members of her extended family who were currently staying with him.  He had been recently evicted from their apartment in Renton. Multiple attempts were made at the residence to contact the suspect, however, there was no answer at door. The suspect’s girlfriend stated that suspect was most likely asleep in residence. There was no physical assault on any victim or witnesses.  Everyone agreed to stay somewhere else for the evening. Probable cause was established, the suspect was positively identified, and a summons was issued.

Medina Police requested assistance on a stolen car dumped at the above location by two suspects. A multi-agency perimeter was set and K9 track initiated, however, the suspects could not be located.

While on a K9 perimeter looking for two suspects fleeing apprehension within the 900 block of Evergreen Pt Rd, radio broadcasted that two suspects matching the Medina call were attempting to start a vehicle at the above location. Officers responded to the location and initiated a high-risk stop on the suspect. The suspect was detained into handcuffs by the officer without incident and then decided to violently resist. The suspect injured his forehead and right ankle while fighting in handcuffs and had to be transported to the hospital for first aid. The suspect was turned over to Clyde Hill PD.

The suspect punched the victim in the face, which caused a black eye. The investigating officer learned that the incident took place after the suspect arrived unannounced at the victim’s house to fight her current boyfriend. The suspect then took the victim’s I-phone and fled the scene. The couple had a child in common who was present during the assault. The suspect is outstanding.

The suspect was issued a trespass from the manager and was given multiple chances to leave but would not leave the property. He was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect went to the victim’s house to get his belongings that were placed outside, but instead, he kicked in her front door causing damage. The suspect also left victim a voicemail threatening to kill her and her family. Officers located the suspect a few blocks away and arrested him. He was booked into jail.

An officer conducted a social contact and was not able to identify the subject.  Just after the contact ended, a 911 call was received to report an emergency nearby that location. Dispatch quickly determined that the originating location of the 911 phone call was the same location. There was no evidence of the emergency at its reported location.  Further investigation revealed that the female subject, who was originally contacted, likely had multiple misdemeanor warrants and the 911 call was placed as a diversion to allow her time to leave the area.

Numerous welfare checks were conducted throughout the city. Luckily everyone was safely located. There were also numerous calls of mental-emotional persons in the city acting strangely. Two people were escorted out of the city.

An officer stopped the suspect for a violation. The suspect gave a false name before giving his correct name. The suspect was arrested for a felony warrant, false statements, suspected drugs, and paraphernalia. He was booked into jail.

Security reported a suspicious occupied vehicle in the west parking garage of Bellevue Square Mall.  The vehicle returned as being stolen.  An officer located it near Downtown Park and notified incoming units.  A high-risk stop was conducted without incident and two suspects were arrested for various charges and the driver was booked into jail.

The suspect was driving while intoxicated and struck a parked vehicle.  He then drove from the scene and was contacted in the driveway of his residence nearby.  His children (8-year-old & 2-year-old) were in the vehicle at the time of the collision.  They did not suffer any injuries and were turned over to their mother.  The suspect was processed for DUI and booked on multiple charges.

An officer responded to assist a citizen who was with two children who were claiming their mother was drunk.  The kids were unharmed and appeared well cared for.  Their mother was contacted by an officer, who confirmed that she was intoxicated but the kids were not in danger.  A report was taken for documentation and forwarded for CPS review.
