After being asked to leave for sleeping in a business, the subject proceeded to walk outside, undress, and urinate in public and in front of an officer. The officer arrested her without further incident.  She was later interviewed, cited and released.

Drive-by shooting

An officer investigated this case where a large 7th-floor window was shot out and there was a large bullet hole through it. This case yielded no evidence and no projectiles were located. Last weekend the same scenario happened on a nearby apartment building where a 23rd-floor window was shot out;

The suspect violated a protection order at his girlfriend’s residence for the fifth time in the last 54 days.  The suspect fled before officers arrived and could not be located.  The officer forwarded felony charges to the King County Prosecutor based on two previous convictions for order violations in his criminal history.  The suspect also has an active felony warrant for dangerous drugs.

Commercial Burglary

An officer investigated two overnight commercial burglaries in Newport Hills. At each location, the suspects used pry tools to enter the buildings and to get into deposit safes which held cash. In addition to cash being taken, windows were broken, and other property damage had taken place.

Road Rage Assault

An officer was called to investigate a road rage incident between two motorists which eventually turned into a roadside assault after both drivers exited their vehicles. One subject was summonsed for 2 counts of assault and provoking assault. Video footage from street cameras captured portions of the incident. Traffic units assisted in the investigation.

Police contacted the suspects during a traffic stop. The investigating officer determined that one suspect was a felon in possession of a firearm located in a vehicle.  The second suspect had an active warrant. Both suspects were arrested and taken to jail.

Police contacted the suspect in reference to a call of a disturbance with a weapon. Officers arrived on scene and detained a suspect without incident or injury. The investigating officer determined that the suspect had flipped a hospital bed and criminally damaged the interior of his room. The suspect turned over to hospital staff and advised that he would be summoned in the mail with a court date for damaging the hospital room.

The suspect was aggressively panhandling and scared several drivers. Officers contacted the suspect who chose to take several chugs from his wine.  After being detained, the suspect decided to kick officers causing him to be taken to the ground. The suspect cut his face and knees. He was cleared at the hospital, arrested, and booked into jail.

The subject was reported to be “out of her mind” on cold medication. The officer confirmed she was hallucinating. The subject was out of control and restrained by medics. She was taken to the hospital.

Officers responded to a report of suspicious subjects who were associated with a vehicle in the west garage of Bellevue Square Mall.  The Officers located and identified the suspects.  One of them was found to have a felony warrant and suspected drug paraphernalia.  She was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant and summonsed for the paraphernalia.

The reporting party called 911 to report that his neighbor’s dog bit his ankle.  The dog’s owner was contacted and the dog, a one-year-old Bichon Frise was current on all his shots.  The report was taken for documentation.  The wounds were superficial scratches and no aid was required.

The victim called 911 to report that his grey 1998 Honda civic had been stolen from the above location.  The vehicle has very distinct markings and a picture was distributed via patrol email.

Officers served a search warrant on the car that a suspect was driving.  The suspect was arrested on her warrants on 08/11/19 and a warrant was issued for her vehicle.  During the search of the vehicle, officers located and seized a Smith & Wesson .44 loaded revolver, 1 Raven .25 Semi-auto pistol, 2.0 grams of heroin, various drug paraphernalia, and ID theft documents.  The suspect was charged with Unlawful Possession of a firearm, Drugs, and Investigation for ID theft.

An unidentified suspect entered L.A. Fitness and then made entry into a secured locker in the locker room.  The suspect took multiple forms of identification and credit cards from the victim’s property.  Later, there were multiple fraudulent purchases made on the victim’s accounts.  This is consistent with a string of similar crimes that have been occurring.

Security contacted police after they observed a male with two crowbars. Pry marks were found on two different doors that lead into an office area from the stairwell.  The suspect was eventually located by Security in a locked area of the 24th floor and fled to a vehicle before leaving the area in it.  Security provided photos of the suspect.  The investigating officer was able to identify him by comparing security photos with the DOL photo of the registered owner of the vehicle that left the scene.  It was discovered that he is a former employee.  He has not been located at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a report of a female who shoplifted at the business.  They were able to locate her as she hid in the bushes nearby.  A consent search of her purse revealed stolen property and suspected drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was arrested without incident and booked into jail.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

The reporting party called after noticing suspicious people in the parking lot of his apartment complex.  An officer located a related stolen vehicle with a female sleeping in the backseat area.  She was detained.  He also observed two subjects running from the stolen vehicle.  Auburn P.D. responded to assist with a K9 track but could not initially locate the suspects.  A perimeter officer saw one of them and became engaged in a foot pursuit, however, he lost her a short time later.  A follow-up K9 track was unsuccessful, and it’s believed the suspect possibly fled on a trail that was in the area.  She was identified during the investigation, which is ongoing.

A victim of an earlier motor vehicle prowl drove to City Hall to file a report.  The case was determined to be related to 4th Shift’s investigation from earlier in the morning (19-44909).  The victim positively identified her backpack that is visible through the window of the suspect vehicle that 4th Shift recovered.  Recovery of the backpack is pending a lawful search of the suspect/recovered vehicle.

Two suspects stole the victim’s Tesla in Seattle when the keys were left in the visor. The suspects drove to Bellevue where they were tracked by the victim on an app. One suspect was booked into jail for warrants and is pending drug and possession of stolen property charges. The other suspect was booked into jail for possession of stolen property. Numerous felony charges are pending on both suspects.

Multiple callers requested a welfare check on a subject behaving erratically.  Officers located the suspect who exhibited signs of significant drug impairment and self-inflicted injuries.  Officers detained the subject without incident.  Officers determined that he was a danger to himself and unable to care for himself.  He was transported to the hospital.

The reporting party called in a domestic disturbance last night that officers responded to but were unable to contact or locate the reporting party.  The reporting party called in today to report the incident again.  The officer contacted the reporting party who stated that there was a physical altercation last night with her boyfriend.  The boyfriend was contacted via telephone today who reported that he was attacked by the reporting party last night at a convenient store.  The officer viewed the footage from the convenient store and confirmed that a physical altercation occurred.  Due to significant inconsistencies between both parties’ statements and lack of cooperation no primary aggressor was established.  The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
