 NARRATIVE

Officers learned Seattle Police Detectives had developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for a homicide that recently occurred in Seattle.  Based on prior contacts, the officers recognized the parties involved and responded to a residence to contact a witness.  On scene, the officers learned the suspect was at the residence and called for additional resources.  Before additional units arrived, the suspect surrendered without incident and was detained for SPD.

 NARRATIVE

Loss prevention recognized a suspect as having been previously trespassed for shop-lifting several weeks ago. The suspect cut a security device off a pre-paid cell phone today and left the store with the merchandise.  An officer located the suspect nearby and detained him.  The suspect was arrested, and a search produced suspected drug paraphernalia.  He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An employee called in to report a male subject had a credit card declined and he saw an ID belonging to a female inside of a wallet in the male subject’s possession.  An officer located and detained the subject.  As the officer was investigating, the victim approached him and told him her purse had been stolen from the mall and her credit card used at the same store. The victim noticed her headphones hanging off of the suspect.  The officer established probable cause and located the victim’s property on the suspect’s person during a search after the arrest.  The suspect was booked into jail.

An officer saw a vehicle whose registered owner has a suspended license. The officer also discovered the driver had an outstanding warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An officer contacted the driver for a modified exhaust. The officer recognized the driver from previous traffic stops when a criminal traffic summons was served. This investigation revealed the suspect was displaying fictitious license plates, had no valid driver’s license, and was operating a vehicle with a modified exhaust. The suspect was served a summons and released.

The suspect stole clothing from the store and was caught. He was impaired and could not stand well. He was cleared by medics, but due to his state, he was released at the scene pending charges.

The reporting party contacted the police because he was out of state and concerned for the welfare of his wife.  Officers contacted the wife on the phone, she agreed to meet and talk with them. She was taken to the hospital.

 NARRATIVE

Security located a subject with an injury on the back of his head.  Bellevue Fire Department medics responded and transported the man to the hospital. The officer determined that the injury was likely the result of a fall and there were no signs of criminal activity.  The Washington State Liquor & Cannabis Board was notified about the incident due to the subject’s extreme level of intoxication that was likely due to over-service at a local bar.

 NARRATIVE

Officers contacted the suspect for jaywalking/running across 140 Ave NE. He was uncooperative and was physically restrained for a warrant. The suspect refused to get into the police support officer’s van and was physically placed in the van where he assaulted an officer, not letting the officer out of the van. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect went into the victim’s business and stole her boss’ $15,000 purse. The victim chased the suspect outside where they got into a scuffle. The police arrived moments later and arrested the suspect. She was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect was harassing a business with his gibberish. Soon after leaving, he was seen crossing seven lanes of traffic in front of an officer. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and suspicion of drugs. He was given a courtesy ride to Renton.

 NARRATIVE

Officers saw the suspect at the above intersection and saw that she had a felony No Bail Warrant out for her arrest. The officer contacted her and detained her. The warrant was confirmed, and the female was booked into jail.  A search of his patrol vehicle after booking the suspect netted a baggie of suspected methamphetamine that the female left behind in the patrol car.

 NARRATIVE

Officers contacted the suspect in his vehicle bearing stolen license plates from earlier in the evening in Bellevue that belonged on a different car.  Officer discovered that the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest for criminal traffic offenses.  He was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.  Both license plates were recovered from the suspect.  The arrest closed out two cases and opened a pending drug case. The suspect was booked into jail.

Officers contacted a misdemeanor warrant subject during a disturbance call.  The suspect was placed under arrest without incident for a confirmed Redmond PD warrant.  Custody turned over to Redmond PD.

The victim’s boyfriend destroyed her property, pushed her causing pain, spit in her face, and then left the scene on foot.  The suspect was located on an area check and arrested without incident.

A suspect was reported to be intoxicated and riding a motorcycle.  The officer located the suspect on the roadway and stopped the vehicle.  A DUI investigation was started, and the suspect was arrested for DUI and processed.

 NARRATIVE

Security, Bellevue Fire, and Bellevue Police responded to a smoke bomb/cannister that was deployed at the Hotel. Security evacuated part of the hotel as a precautionary measure. The scene was rendered safe. There was no damage to the property or harm to the guests. The canister was concealed in wrapping. Video was obtained from security.  The investigation is ongoing.

After drinking at a local establishment, a boyfriend and girlfriend returned to their hotel room and were engaged in a physical altercation. Medical aid was refused, but probably cause was established for assault. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a blocking traffic collision and determined one of the involved parties exhibited signs of impaired driving. Following a field sobriety test, the subject was arrested for DUI and booked into jail.

The suspect entered an apartment at this location unwanted. Officers contacted him as he was coming out of the apartment. No crimes had been committed, however, he did have two Bellevue warrants for Trespass. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The bicyclist entered onto SE 8th Street from 145th Ave SE and was struck by the driver’s vehicle which was traveling west on SE 8th Street. The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and had a large bag of aluminum cans straddle on the handlebars. The bicyclist was rendered unconscious on the scene after the impact and was immediately transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The driver was not found to be impaired by either alcohol or a controlled substance.    At 0230, the King County Medical Examiner contacted BPD to advise the bicyclist was just pronounced deceased.

 NARRATIVE

The victim was walking through Crossroads Park near the Youth Theater when he was struck by three unidentified male suspects.  He fell to the ground, and the suspects took personal items from him.  The suspects fled northbound through the park on foot and could not be located.  The investigation is ongoing.
