 NARRATIVE

The suspect was involved in an altercation with his 18-year-old daughter.  He also ripped her cellphone from her hands after 911 was called and prevented her from getting to the phone.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail without incident.  The victim did not require any medical treatment.

 NARRATIVE

The victim returned home to find an occupied and idling U-Haul box truck outside his residence.  The victim entered his residence, noticed that his property had been disturbed, and heard someone exit his residence.  The victim saw the truck flee at a high rate of speed.  The truck was located a short time later near 140th Ave NE and Bellevue-Redmond Road.  Two suspects were detained without incident and eventually arrested for Residential Burglary.  The suspects were booked into jail.

Two subjects became involved in a verbal altercation and one of them stole a large amount of jewelry and a wallet belonging to the other.  He fled the apartment but was later located, arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a burglary of an occupied residence.  One of the homeowners confronted the suspect and he ran out of the house with jewelry.  Officers set a perimeter and the King County Sheriff’s Office canine unit responded but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect entered the store and stole fragrance bottles with the plan to sell them.  The suspect was detained by loss prevention and arrested by the investigating officer.  He was also on an active trespass.  A search following the arrest netted additional stolen property. The suspect also had two theft warrants, a trespass warrant, and an assault warrant for $21,000 bail. The suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The victim finished yoga class and entered her vehicle in the parking garage.  She noticed several subjects outside of her car and one of them shot a BB gun into her back window causing it to shatter.  The subjects got into two separate cars and fled the scene.  One of the vehicles was a gray minivan, the second was a black sports car.  The suspects were described as five black male teenagers.  The victim did not sustain any injuries.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the report of a theft of keys at a downtown store.  The keys are used to open the doors to the lottery ticket cabinet at the front of the store.  The investigating officer located the suspect after he returned to the store later in the evening.  She recognized and identified him as the theft suspect from the surveillance video of the earlier theft.  The subject was arrested and found to be in possession of suspected drugs and multiple burglary tools.  He also provided a false name.  The suspect is being summoned into Bellevue District Court.

An unknown suspect entered 19 unlocked customer vehicles that were stored overnight at a car dealership.  Any stolen property is to be reported by the victims upon receipt of their vehicles.  There is a possible related to a similar incident at another car dealership. (19-52487)

An officer contacted the suspect sitting inside his vehicle. The suspect was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Federal Way PD for $2500 bail, as well as several other warrants. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect was attempting to purchase a vehicle under another person’s ID.  An officer arrived on scene to investigate and developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for fraud crimes.  Another officer recognized the suspect from a Seattle PD case.  SPD has numerous cases on the suspect for over $1 million in losses.  SPD officers responded to the Bellevue Police Department to interview the suspect and take over the investigation.  Another suspect arrived in the area to pick up the first suspect with a friend.  The second suspect was also wanted in connection with the SPD case. It was also discovered that he had a recently entered felony warrant for ID Theft out of Pierce County with no bail. The second suspect was found at a nearby store and taken into custody.  He too was turned over to SPD for an interview.  The second suspect was booked into jail.

An officer contacted the subject after noticing a fake trip permit in the back of the suspect vehicle while it was parked.  The suspect provided her name and the officer found that she had a Bellevue warrant out for her arrest.  She was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect was contacted by police at the above location in reference to a disturbance on board a KC Metro Bus. The investigating officer determined that the suspect had intentionally damaged the Metro Coach while arguing with the bus driver and other patrons on the bus. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect during a possible burglary in progress. The investigating officer determined that the suspect had an outstanding, confirmed felony warrant out of the Department of Corrections for Escape Community Custody.  There was no burglary discovered and the suspect was trespassed from the property.  NARRATIVE

The suspect was contacted by police in reference to a welfare check and possible disturbance. A citizen reported that the suspect was acting erratic, screaming gibberish, and appeared to be in crisis. Officers arrived on scene and in the course of making contact and attempting to de-escalate the situation, observed that the suspect had grabbed onto the caller in a threatening manner. Officers intervened and placed the suspect onto the ground where he was detained without injury. During the contact, the suspect attempted to bite one of the officers. The suspect was displaying the obvious effects of Excited Delirium and could not verbally communicate. Bellevue medics took the suspect to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was arrested, and a search produced approximately (1.33) grams of suspected methamphetamine on the suspect’s person. Criminal charges are pending.

Officers investigated a disturbance at a bar involving an intoxicated subject. The subject was contacted and identified. Witnesses said the subject was in possession of cocaine – the subject consented to a search and suspected cocaine (<g) was recovered from his jacket. The subject was trespassed from the business, but the subject refused to leave the area.  He was arrested for Trespass/Paraphernalia and he was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the area for a robbery at a bank. An officer was nearby and saw the suspect attempting to carjack a citizen on Eastgate Way.  The officer confronted the suspect and a foot pursuit ensued.  The suspect was caught by the officer at 158th Ave SE and Eastgate Way and was tased before being detained.  The suspect was positively identified and was transported to the hospital for taser deployment evaluation and facial injuries.  Subsequent to the initial investigation, it was determined the suspect robbed the bank, attempted to steal a nearby unoccupied vehicle, and then attempted to carjack a citizen.  All the money taken during the robbery was recovered and no officers were injured.  The suspect was booked into jail.

Officers responded to a robbery in progress. According to the reporting party, the male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. Cash was exchanged and the suspect fled the business on foot. A perimeter was set for K-9 track, but the track was lost at a nearby condominium bldg. The investigation is ongoing.

The caller was going through his great uncle’s belongings and found a WWI grenade. Members from the Bellevue Police Bomb Squad responded and determined that it was possibly a live grenade. Officers took custody of the grenade for disposal. Information Only

Police units responded to the location after employees reported fraudulent activity by patrons who reserved a room. Numerous items, ID’s, social security numbers, credit cards, and a card manufacturing device, were located inside the room. The subjects who reserved the room did not return after employees informed them of declined charges incurred from the room.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect for a disturbance with a knife. Upon arrival at the location, the officer determined that the suspect had become upset that his estranged wife was seeing another man. The suspect confronted his wife’s new boyfriend, tried to harm him with the knife, and threatened to “Gut him!” The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
