Police contacted the suspect in connection with a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that the suspect had violated a trespass order that he had just been issued approximately 3 hours ago for the same location. While causing the disturbance, the suspect grabbed a female customer; she was not injured and declined to pursue charges. The suspect was arrested for trespass and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect for an outstanding warrant.  The warrant was confirmed out of Snohomish county.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Domestic Disturbance

Officers responded to a residence and learned about two domestic violence incidents between a mother and her son during the last month. On each occasion, the son threatened his mother, at least once he assaulted her and caused injury. The mother told officers that her son has an affiliation with the “guys who committed the homicide in the park”.  Later in the day, officers contacted the subject in a vehicle when he was pulling into a taco truck stand. He was arrested without incident and booked into jail.

The Bellevue Fire Department responded to a structure fire involving a vacant residential home. A fire arson investigator requested that a police arson detective respond.

A suspect was released from Kent City Jail and into the custody of Bellevue Police. The suspect had an outstanding warrant for theft out of Bellevue. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim’s business. The business manager requested trespass but declined to pursue charges. the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect in connection with an investigation into a trespass.  The investigating officer determined that the suspect had been trespassed by the property manager yesterday evening for acting aggressively toward customers and staff. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect in connection with a domestic disturbance. The investigating officer determined that while arguing with his father, the suspect willfully damaged his father’s vehicle and fled the scene when he realized that the police had been called. The suspect’s father was uncooperative with the investigation and refused to provide a statement. Probable cause was established, and the suspect was advised that he would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

Shortly after being released by police, the suspect was re-contacted by officers in connection with a theft investigation. The suspect was positively identified by the on-duty employee and was observed taking a pack of cigarettes without paying. He was arrested and booked into jail.

While investigating a drug call for service, it was determined the subject was a missing person out of Seattle.  The subject was in good health and removed from the system as a missing person.

A resident of a senior assisted living facility has been stealing property and disturbing other residences. Today, the resident refused to leave the manager’s office and concealed an exterior brass water spout that she took from the manager’s desk. Police officers recovered the items taken and returned them. The resident was uncooperative throughout the contact. Her caseworkers from Sophia’s Place arrived and assisted in mediating. This report is for documentation.

Bomb Call

Employees found a suspicious note at the bottom of a laundry chute. The note claimed that there was a bomb in the hotel.  Bellevue Police bomb technicians responded and investigated. There was confirmation that a large event was being held in the hotel at the time. It was determined that no further action could take place. Evidence was collected and processed.

Police contacted the suspect for investigation of fraud. The investigating officer determined that the suspect is an employee of the victim business and was under investigation by loss prevention for fraudulently crediting money to her account. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

While riding through the mall parking lot, bike officers the suspect sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle and drug paraphernalia was seen inside the vehicle. The suspect had two misdemeanor warrants for driving with a suspended license. He was arrested and booked into jail.

A confidential source relayed information to an officer that a subject threatened an ex-girlfriend with a knife. The officer developed probable cause and learned that the suspect is currently living in a tent in a wooded area. He also learned that the suspect is a convicted felon possibly in possession of a handgun. Several officers were involved in an arrest plan, but the suspect could not be located. The investigation is ongoing.

A subject requested to speak with a mental health professional following his appointment at the VA clinic in Bellevue. He believes his neighbors are going to kill him and that they are tracking him. There have been several mental/emotional calls with this subject in the past. He was taken to the hospital for a voluntary committal.

Security called to advise of a stolen vehicle driving in the parking lot.  Officers arrived on the scene and the vehicle was parked and unoccupied.  The suspect was identified by security and detained.  The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Redmond and the suspect was arrested and booked in jail.

After committing theft at a local store, two subjects became involved in a dispute because the driver left the other subject while he was still in the store.  During the dispute, one of them struck the other with garden hand pruners and caused minor injuries to the victim’s neck and forearm.  He did not require any medical attention.  The victim ran from the scene but was located behind the winter shelter during a K9 search.  He was later arrested and booked into jail.

The station officer contacted the subjects while posting at a homeless encampment with the parks department and our new homeless coordinator. The subjects were given written notice and informed to vacate. Cleanup will be performed next week.

Reckless Burning

A hungry subject decided to cook a potato wrapped in tin foil in a tree stump near the sidewalk. When questioned about the incident, the subject stated he had exhausted all efforts to find a park with a grill.  Fire arrived and estimated the flames to be approximately 6 inches in height. They promptly extinguished the fire without incident. The subject was uncooperative with responding officers and he was advised he would be receiving a summons in the mail.

A loss prevention officer observed a subject who he believes has stolen from other stores. He followed the subject to a vehicle in the parking lot.  The subject then obtained a can from the vehicle and chased the loss prevention officer while spraying an unknown substance towards him.  The investigation is ongoing to confirm the suspect’s identity.  This incident did not include theft.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the driver had a suspended license. They also found that he was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.  The suspect was arrested and released at the scene without incident.

Unidentified suspect(s) forced entry into fifteen storage units.  This was the eighth time in the last month that these storage units have been burglarized.  The reporting party named a possible accomplice.  Details on the stolen items are pending contact from the victims.

The suspect was at her mother’s residence attempting to get property from it when the mother was not home.  The mother knew the suspect had a felony warrant for her arrest and called 911. The suspect was contacted by a police officer and a warrant was confirmed out of Skagit County.  The suspect was arrested without incident and booked into jail.

An officer was conducting a direct patrol at Newport Park & Ride when he observed suspicious activity.  He contacted a subject and determined that there was a criminal traffic violation for an altered trip permit and a misdemeanor warrant for the subject who was in the possession of the vehicle.  The subject was also in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia.  Two additional subjects left the area quickly.  Their identity was later discovered and one of them also had an outstanding arrest warrant.
