Officers responded to a residence and learned about two domestic violence incidents between a mother and her son during the last month. On each occasion, the son threatened his mother, at least once he assaulted her and caused injury. The mother told officers that her son has an affiliation with the “guys who committed the homicide in the park”. Later in the day, officers contacted the subject in a vehicle when he was pulling into a taco truck stand. He was arrested without incident and booked into jail. |

After committing theft at a local store, two subjects became involved in a dispute because the driver left the other subject while he was still in the store. During the dispute, one of them struck the other with garden hand pruners and caused minor injuries to the victim’s neck and forearm. He did not require any medical attention. The victim ran from the scene but was located behind the winter shelter during a K9 search. He was later arrested and booked into jail. |

An officer was conducting a direct patrol at Newport Park & Ride when he observed suspicious activity. He contacted a subject and determined that there was a criminal traffic violation for an altered trip permit and a misdemeanor warrant for the subject who was in the possession of the vehicle. The subject was also in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. Two additional subjects left the area quickly. Their identity was later discovered and one of them also had an outstanding arrest warrant. |
