 NARRATIVE

An officer responded to investigate an indecent exposure call on a Metro bus.  The victim reported that a male passenger sitting next to her committing a sex act. The investigation showed the incident met the elements of a sex crime. The suspect also possessed an outstanding warrant. He was arrested on his warrant and a summons is pending for Indecent Exposure.

 NARRATIVE

Officers investigated a domestic disturbance that occurred at a restaurant. During dinner, an argument began between the victim and the suspect, a boyfriend and girlfriend. During this argument, the suspect slapped the victim’s hand while she ate, followed by the suspect pouring a pitcher of water on the victim’s lap. The argument continued outside the restaurant when the suspect threw the victim’s phone in the trash when she tried to call the police. The suspect was located in Seattle with Seattle Police assistance, and he was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to reports of a man wielding a weapon after he was denied entry.  Officers were able to locate the subject in the area.  No person was directly threatened, and the suspect attempted to hide the weapon on police contact. The investigation revealed the suspect had multiple warrants. He was arrested and booked into jail. Additional charges are pending for dangerous weapons and suspected paraphernalia.

An officer responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. The victim called police reporting the suspect assaulted her during a verbal argument. The suspect reportedly bit the victim during the physical disturbance and physical evidence supported the statements. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

An officer conducted a check of a license plate while on a direct patrol.  It revealed that a subject associated with the vehicle had an outstanding warrant for DUI.  The subject was determined to be a passenger in the vehicle.  He was placed under arrest and booked into jail without incident.

An officer conducted a social contact with two subjects at a gas station.  Using the personal information that the subjects voluntarily provided, the officer conducted further investigation and was able to determine that one of the subjects had used his brother’s name.  The subject who was present had an outstanding felony warrant for escape from community custody.  He was contacted again, placed under arrest, and then booked into jail without incident.

An elderly adult male drove to the store to buy light bulbs and left his cell phone at home. About five hours later after he hadn’t returned, his wife was concerned and called 911.  The man has no medical conditions or diagnoses.  The wife believed he was driving around trying to get home and would not stop to ask for help.  Jails and hospitals were checked with negative results.  He was flagged as mission and fourth and first shifts were notified.

A suspect stole merchandise totaling $1,300 from a store and fled the scene in an awaiting vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver and accomplices fled southbound on I-405 at a high rate of speed. No pursuit initiated and information was relayed to Washington State Patrol.

Officers responded to a fire assist of a newborn in cardiac arrest. Bellevue Fire was on scene with the patient of home delivery. The child went into cardiac arrest shortly after birth and was transported to the hospital.

Officers responded to a call for service where a woman stated she had been possibly sexually assaulted sometime in August of 2016.  An investigation was initiated, and the case will be forwarded to detectives for any further investigation.

Officers responded to the above vacant location for possible suspects inside.  Units arrived on scene to find four suspects inside.  Suspect one had a misdemeanor warrant and was arrested.  Suspect two also had a warrant and was arrested.  Suspect three was hiding in the bushes near the rear of the residence and was arrested on a DOC Escape Warrant.  Suspect four was found inside with no warrants and was released.  The investigation is ongoing for trespass charges.

An adult, non-resident sibling arrived at his parent’s house and was asked to leave. The subject refused to leave, and an adult resident sibling forcefully removed his non-resident sibling from the property. A physical fight ensued, in which the resident sibling kicked his non-resident sibling on the chest and placed him in a headlock, causing visible injuries. The adult resident sibling was arrested for assault and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a vehicle vs two-pedestrian collision with injuries.  One pedestrian was transported to the hospital and the other self-admitted. It was determined that both pedestrians were intoxicated and crossing NE 8th ST against the light in heavy traffic.  Video footage of the collision was located and showed both pedestrians crossing illegally. While most of the traffic stopped for them, the last vehicle in the far-right lane did not.  Both pedestrians ran out in front of that vehicle, causing them to be struck.  There were no significant injuries.  Both pedestrians were cited for the violation and causing the crash.

An officer responded to an assault in progress. The victim/bartender reported that an ex-employee was at the business causing a disturbance. During this disturbance, the suspect punched the victim in the face causing pain and injury. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.  A summons was filed.

An Officer responded to the area after a citizen found several spent shell casings in her neighborhood.  The officer located and collected the casings.  The casings are likely related to a call for service last night when several shots were heard in the area after a large party had broken up.  An investigation is being conducted and as of now, there are no known victims and no obvious strike marks on any vehicles or residences in the area.

Officers responded to investigate a disturbance.  It was discovered that the victim had followed the suspect home after recognizing the suspect’s car from an incident a few weeks back where his dog was run over.  The victim followed the suspect to his residence, where the proceeded to jump out of his car and run up and punch the male in the face in his car and broke his tail light with a driveway marker.  The case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Police responded to the above location in reference to a Disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, police contacted the suspect attempting to flee the area in his vehicle. The suspect showed obvious signs of a fresh injury and was detained for investigation of assault. Officers on the scene located the residence where the assault occurred and discovered the victim, a roommate. Officers determined that the suspect had attacked the victim in the parking lot in front of the residence.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
