Three female juvenile suspects are under arrest following a crime spree that began in

Spokane and made its way to Seattle, then Mercer Island, and ended in Bellevue. The trio, ages 16 and 17-years-old, started off their cross-state criminal adventure in Spokane last Friday, January 24th, by carjacking a maroon vehicle.
They fled to Seattle, where they’re accused of theft, robbery, assault, and hit & run on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, the suspects took off, eluding police at an extremely high rate of speed across I-90.

At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, the three were looking for gas money. They robbed a woman in a parking lot in the 300 block 120th Ave NE, knocked her down and drove over her arm. The three then went to buy gas and get their nails done at a salon, using the victim’s credit card.
Through quick and excellent police work, Bellevue officers tracked the suspects down and took them into custody. One was still having her nails manicured.
“This is an example of outstanding police work. These criminals ran rampant across the state until arriving in Bellevue, where they were greeted by our officers and taken into custody. I’m proud of the men and women of the Bellevue Police Department for their exemplary work,” said Police Chief Steve Mylett. “This is another example of why you don’t come to Bellevue to commit crime; you’re gonna get caught!”
The three suspects were arrested on charges of Robbery, Vehicular Assault, and Fraud. Additional charges are pending in other jurisdictions.
