
Bellevue police arrested two suspects following a string of burglaries, car thefts, attempted robbery, and motor vehicle prowls. Officers arrested the 37-year-old male suspect on charges of Attempted Robbery, Burglary 1 & 2, Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Firearms. His 36-year-old female accomplice was arrested on charges of Motor Vehicle Prowl. Detectives say more charges against both suspects are under investigation.
The crime spree began on March 15, 2020, and ended with a K-9 track and arrest Thursday morning, April 9, 2020, on a trail just north of Newcastle Beach Park. The suspects targeted homes near or along the Lake Washington shoreline from south of Meydenbauer Bay to Pleasure Point. After one of the burglaries, a homeowner confronted the male suspect and the suspect pulled a gun on him. Two vehicles and some of the stolen property has been recovered. The crime spree includes at least seven cases.
