 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a Commercial Burglary report, noting they had responded to this location earlier with the owner to investigate an alarm; however, no forced entry could be located, and the business was secure. When employees arrived in the morning, they noticed that the business was disturbed and obviously burglarized. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to an alarm, and upon arrival, they discovered that the front door to the residence had been kicked open. A perimeter was set, and a K9 unit responded, however, a suspect could not be located.  The investigation is ongoing.

A suspect stole merchandise from the store and concealed it on his person.  Officers arrived on scene and detained him.  He was searched after the arrested, and officers recovered the stolen property.

 NARRATIVE

A caller reported suspicious activity involving two cars.  The officer found drug paraphernalia scattered inside the vehicle and detained the occupants.  The driver gave consent to search the vehicle, officers located a bag belonging to the suspect with 1.2g of suspected Heroin and methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Bellevue Fire responded to a lethargic individual inside a vehicle.  The subject was identified by officers and determined to have a KCSO warrant for DUI.  The subject was placed under arrest and booked into jail.

A local law enforcement agency requested a welfare check on a Bellevue resident that originated from an out-of-state reporting party.  The subject was contacted and learned that her husband wished to turn himself in for digital crimes with a nexus to Bellevue.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A subject reported an unresponsive male in his hotel room while he was gone, so officers gained access to the room. The male woke up from his drug-induced coma and left. The suspect returned and was arrested for a KCSO DUI warrant. Drug paraphernalia was found in his car. He was booked into jail.

An officer was on routine patrol when he was flagged down by store employees regarding a Theft in progress.  The suspect had fled out the doors with a full shopping cart.  The suspect fled on foot when he saw the officer.  After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was detained without incident. The suspect was arrested for Theft, Obstructing, and False Statements after he provided a false name.

A mother called 911 to report her adult daughter was in emotional distress. It was determined that the daughter was a danger to herself and was transported to the hospital for a medical and mental health evaluation.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a welfare check of a subject that had not been seen in approx. 5 days. The landlord opened the room for the officers, who confirmed the subject was deceased. There were no known underlying health conditions, nor obvious signs of an overdose. Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

Officers responded to the report of an unwanted subject in the hospital.  He was heavily intoxicated, belligerent, and refusing to leave.  The subject was showing a few symptoms of COVID-19 but has not yet received his test results.  He met officers at the rear doors and eventually left the property after numerous verbal trespass warnings.

 NARRATIVE

NORCOM received a call reporting a bomb threat at the mall. Upon arrival and contacting the reporting party, it became clear she was clearly suffering from mental illness. The officer walked around the exterior of the building and checked the anchor stores and restaurants. Nothing suspicious was located.

Officers contacted two suspects as they left the store. Both subjects worked together to steal merchandise and were positively identified by loss prevention. Both subjects were arrested and released at the scene. They will be summoned to court.

Two simultaneous thefts occurred at the same store.  As officers located the first subject related to the first theft, loss prevention advised them of a second theft in progress. The investigation determined that the thefts were unrelated. One subject was trespassed and released at the scene, the other was arrested for theft.

 NARRATIVE

The subject was found deceased by a roommate.  She had not been seen alive since the previous day.  There were no signs of foul play.  The victim was a suspected heroin user; however, there were no drugs and no paraphernalia seen during the investigation.  She stated the previous day that she was not feeling well.  She also had a cough but had not been diagnosed with any illnesses. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

The victim came to City Hall on 3/20 to report ongoing physical domestic violence assaults by her husband. An officer was able to get a detailed statement from the victim. The investigation uncovered several crimes, including an Assault 2 (involving a knife), and Interfering with reporting a DV. Detectives arrested the suspect and booked him into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect stole a pair of headphones and was contacted outside the store. Officers arrested the suspect arrested, and he was released at the scene after being issued a trespass notice from the location. He will be summoned with a court date.

The suspect and victim met on a dating site. When the suspect and victim met in person, a sexual encounter occurred. The crime occurred approximately one month ago. The investigation ongoing.

Officers apprehended a suspect after he stole items from the business. The suspect had multiple outside agency misdemeanor warrants. The suspect was arrested for Theft 3 and released at the scene.  The suspect will be summoned to court.

 NARRATIVE

The subject from a previous mental health commitment was released from the medical staff. The subject again tried to take his own life.  He was taken back to the hospital.
