The victim woke up and discovered that his car keys and wallet were missing from his hotel room.  The victim then discovered that his rental car was missing from the parking lot. The victim identified an acquaintance as a possible suspect.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the location for a disturbance.  The reporting party stated a male subject was outside, screaming and holding two knives.  Upon arrival, the subject had retreated inside his apartment.  The contact team began speaking with the subject through a rear glass slider and eventually got him to come out.  During the investigation, it was determined the subject was in a mental health crisis and was taken to the hospital.

A subject called 911 to report that she had stabbed herself and her cat. Officers responded and contacted her and took her to the hospital for minor self-inflicted wounds. The cat was not injured.

A subject was observed sleeping in the passenger seat with the passenger door open.  Upon a closer look, suspected drug paraphernalia was observed in the vehicle.  The subject was detained and said his friend was in a store and he was just waiting for him.  The subject was released, and bike officers were unable to locate his friend.

A military grenade was dug up in the back yard of the home.  An x-ray was taken, and it did not appear there was a fuse inserted into the body. The Bomb Squad took custody of the grenade which was booked for destruction.

A suspect stole a bottle of alcohol and when confronted by a store employee, he told the employee he would “Kick his A**”. Officers located the suspect a block away and arrested him.

Witnesses reported suspects stealing mail. Officers located and contacted the suspect U-Haul vehicle. Officers witnessed evidence of mail theft and were given limited consent to search the vehicle.  The search yielded evidence of mail theft and ammunition in possession/control of Suspect 2; the suspects are convicted felons. Suspect-1 was booked on a felony warrant. Suspect-2 was booked on a felony in possession violation. The vehicle was ultimately towed to the station for a search warrant based on observations within the vehicle for further investigation of possible mail theft, drugs, identity theft, and forgery.

Approximately $148,400 in jewelry was stolen from the victim’s jewelry box sometime since the start of April. The victim has been homebound since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the only people with access to the house were cleaners. The victim was only out of the house once since the start of April, and cleaners came while she was out of the house at that time. The jewelry was taken from a couple jewelry boxes hidden in a closet. The investigation is ongoing.

Police were called in reference to an out of control female. Upon arrival, the investigating officer determined that the mother had contacted police because she knew that her daughter had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Officers recognized the female from numerous prior contacts at the property. The suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Youth Center.

Police a Harassment Investigation and determined that two intoxicated males approached three other males and started a political discussion which ended in one of the men in the first group stating that he had a pistol in his truck. Officers interviewed the subjects involved and determined that no crime had occurred. The case report was taken for informational purposes.
