 NARRATIVE

Police responded burglary in progress, and while en route to the scene, dispatch advised that the caller was watching the suspects break into the lower level of the building attempting to access the mailroom and storage areas of the unit. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspects and their vehicles. The suspects were detained without incident. Suspects were arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and contacted both parties upon arrival. The officers determined that during an argument, the suspect had thrown a shoe at his wife’s face causing pain. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Two subjects were found asleep by Crossroads Security in front of the doors at the BPD Crossroads Substation.  We had numerous calls on the male subject the day before.  Both subjects were provided a courtesy transport to the Auburn Post Office.

A suspect got into a verbal and physical dispute with the mother of his child. The suspect grabbed the female causing pain to her wrist while making threats. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a disturbance that had just occurred.  While en route, the officers learned a suspect had pepper-sprayed the victim during an argument.  Upon arrival, the suspects had fled the area in a vehicle.  The victim and witnesses were contacted and refused to provide further information.  The victim has minor eye irritation and was treated at the scene by medics.

 NARRATIVE

A husband and wife were in a verbal argument at the parent’s residence. The disturbance became physical when the intoxicated suspect pushed the victim to the ground, causing injury. The suspect was holding the victim during this physical altercation. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting parting called stating a suspicious subject was driving his vehicle without authorization. The caller had lost his keys two 2 weeks before this incident and witnessed a suspect drive away with his vehicle from a parking lot. The officer was able to locate and stop the vehicle on 405 N. The suspect said a friend loaned her the vehicle to use. The caller decided to not press charges and recovered the vehicle without incident. The suspect had a felony warrant, she was transported to jail.

The subject was observed by staff stealing candy, a tuna can, and juice.  The subject was located crossing the street into the woods.  Charges are pending.

A subject stole batteries from the store and was located and contacted by police.  The subject had a Department of Corrections felony warrant.  Charges are pending for theft.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect was observed sleeping on the reporting party’s couch in his condo. The reporting party thought it was his roommate.  When awakened, the subject stated that he knew the previous owners and then got up and left the condo on foot.  The caller advised that he had possibly left his doors unlocked during the night.  There was no sign of forced entry and nothing was taken or disturbed by the subject.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a disturbance and while en route, the officers learned there was an active trespass letter on file for the suspect and he was threatening to harm staff.  The suspect fled the location and was found in the area by responding units.  Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested and transported to jail.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect was under the influence of narcotics and emotionally distressed on the trail area.  He was throwing rocks and swinging branches at passersby.  Officers located the suspect in the woods next to the trail.  He was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital.

On 06-29-20, the suspect was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault. On 06-30-20, officers responded to two residences to assist with a Civil Standby and serve a court order mandating the suspect to surrender all firearms. Officers collected and tagged over 140 handguns without incident.

Police contacted the suspect during a verbal disturbance and arrested him on a BPD Domestic Violence Assault 4 warrant, 10K bail.  He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a shoplift in progress and while en route, dispatch advised that loss prevention officers (LP) were following the suspect.  LP contacted the suspect in the parking lot, and he fled on foot, leaving the loss behind.  LP continued to follow the suspect and while doing so, the suspect brandished a knife and threatened the LP officers.  The suspect then fled. The investigation was ongoing.

Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle prowl in progress and learned the vehicle’s owner was witnessing the prowl and provided a suspect description.  The suspect fled the scene and was located nearby when officers arrived. The suspect was positively identified and was arrested for car prowl.

 NARRATIVE

Officer contacted a driver with registration violations and the investigation revealed the driver (S1) had an active felony warrant. An associate (S2) on scene lied about her identity and the investigation showed S2 was a protected party in an active court order, the respondent was S1.  S1 was booked into jail and SCORE – charges filed for S2.

 NARRATIVE

Officers were dispatched to a bomb threat that had been called in by an unknown suspect.  Prior to arrival, store management started the evacuation process which was completed shortly after officers’ arrival.  Officers assisted management with a walkthrough of the business and noticed nothing out of the ordinary.  At the store’s request, they reopened shortly after the walkthrough.

The caller stated her son was home and had a warrant and she wanted him arrested.  Officers arrived and contacted the suspect without incident.  The warrant was for robbery 2 and was confirmed.  The suspect was booked.

 NARRATIVE

The victim met a female on Facebook who convinced him to invest money into stocks.  He wired 150K and over a period was told his investment was now worth 3.5 million.  He continued to wire money totaling 500k.  When he attempted to cash out, he learned it was a fraud.

 NARRATIVE

While a couple was walking their dog, they saw a male open the passenger door to their U haul.  They yelled at him and he started walking towards them and yelling.  The victim told the suspect to stay 6 feet away and warned him that she would pepper spray him.  The suspect continued to approach, and she sprayed him, hitting him in the back as he turned away.  Neither party wished to pursue charges.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect entered a store, selected several items, and carried them to the front of the store, bypassing all cash registers. The victim told the suspect he could not leave with unpaid merchandise and placed herself between the suspect and the exit. The suspect pushed the victim causing her to fall to the ground and feel pain. The suspect left the merchandise and walked out of the store. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A father and daughter got into an argument and the father threw a book at the daughter and hit the daughter twice in the head. After he hit her, the father kicked her out of the house and threatened her to not come back.  The daughter was found by the mom a little later at a nearby school.  Fearing there would be more violence, the mom and daughter spent the night away.  When they returned, there was another disturbance and the mom called 911.  The father was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and the officer determined that the suspect was impaired due to Marijuana consumption. A DUI investigation was initiated, and the suspect was arrested and due to the suspect’s prior arrest history, he was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party says he was assaulted in the Crossroads Mall bathroom.  A suspect located at a nearby bus stop.  Both the reporting party and the suspect had injuries from the fight with conflicting statements.  The suspect was released, and the case was referred to the prosecutor for review.

 NARRATIVE

Family and friends called to report a subject with a weapon in distress. Officers arrived and located him by his vehicle, a gun was in his pocket.  He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
