The suspect missed the last bus out of the transit center, so he decided to take a nap nearby. When security asked him to leave, he squared off and threatened the security guard with a knife.  The suspect left but was located nearby and confronted by officers.  He complied and was safely taken into custody and was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

On 8/23, a suspect stole merchandise and was arrested and trespassed from the business.  Today, the suspect went to a different business, stole merchandise, and threatened to assault the clerk.  The Suspect went back to the first business’s parking lot from where he was trespassed yesterday and was arrested. The suspect had evidence he had been stealing from other stores, based on his continued and escalating behavior, he was booked into jail.

An unidentified suspect forced entry into the business, removed property, and then fled the scene.  A K9 track was conducted, but during the track a patrol officer located traffic cam video that showed a matching subject leaving the area as the front passenger in a black sedan.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A driver was involved in a collision with a parked car.  The vehicle was inoperable, blocking the roadway, and towed.  The driver was unhappy that the vehicle was impounded, went to the tow yard, and created a disturbance.  Officers arrived and mediated a resolution allowing the driver to obtain some property from the vehicle.  The driver was issued a Trespass Notice due to his volatile behavior.  It was agreed that the subject would be permitted to return to pick up his vehicle if he chooses to pay the impound fee.

The reporting party called because someone was driving circles through the mall lot.  Officers located and discovered he was missing from Kirkland PD and the subject of a Silver Alert.  Aid responded as a precautionary measure, and the subject was reunited with family.

An officer was working proactively and located a stolen car that was occupied by multiple people.  They were detained, and one was arrested after the investigation proved he was knowingly in possession of the stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was returned to its owner at the scene.

Officers responded in regard to a woman who was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the woman who was acting erratic and screaming incoherently.  After detaining the woman, an investigation was conducted.  During the investigation, officers learned the woman had a $25,000 warrant out of Snohomish County.  The woman was placed under arrest, transported to Snohomish County, and ultimately booked for her warrants.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to Crossroads Park for a disturbance.  While en-route, officers were notified 3 males appeared to have been fighting and were now leaving.  Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who had injuries consistent with being in a physical fight.  An area check was conducted for the other parties, but they were not located.  An investigation was conducted, and it was discovered all 3 males knew each other and were all heavily intoxicated.  While consuming alcohol at the park, an argument started and then became physical, and the victim was assaulted.  The victim was extremely uncooperative and would not provide any information on the other 2 males.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the report of a landscaper being chased by people with a gun.  It was eventually determined that the “people” were not actually seen, there was possibly an unreported verbal incident in Renton the day prior, and the potential victim was likely under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of this call.  A check of the area did not reveal any evidence or suspicious subjects.  An informational report was completed.

Officers responded to conduct a check of a residence at the homeowner’s request.  The son had just texted them threatening comments and indicated he was going to damage their new fence.  Officers arrived and located the subject on the property.  Probable cause was developed, and he was arrested for DV harassment.  The suspect was booked into jail without incident.

Officers observed smoke coming from a wooded area on the north side of the roadway. Officers searched the area and located a tree stump and surrounding area on fire.  The Bellevue Fire Department responded.  A sleeping bag, a black bag, and trash were located in the vicinity of the fire, but unknown if it was related.

A Bellevue Fire Department employee observed the suspect as he was in the process of lighting a trash can on fire.  The suspect was arrested for reckless burning and a theft/malicious mischief warrant. He was booked into jail.

A suspect and victim are boyfriend and girlfriend living together in victim’s house. The pair was in an argument about the victim having an affair with the suspect’s friend. The suspect got a metal bar and started smashing things around the house that weren’t hers. The victim videotaped her rather than trying to stop her. Both people refused to leave the property. The suspect was arrested for DV Malicious Mischief and booked into jail.

The victim showed up at the above address asking for “Mary Kate,” stating she told him he could find “George” there. Neither of these people lives here. The homeowners repeatedly told the victim to leave.  The victim sat across the street and continued to harass the owners, so a friend confronted the victim, and they got into a scuffle ending with the victim having a bloody face. The victim stated the male showed him a gun, but later this was disproved. Neither party wanted to press charges. The suspect was only talked to over the phone.

Police contacted an intoxicated suspect in reference to Suicidal Threats. Upon contact, the investigating officer developed a legal basis to take the suspect into protective custody. During this process, the suspect kicked, bit, and attempted to spit on multiple officers. The suspect was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Police contacted the suspect for investigation of drugs and determined that the suspect was shooting suspected heroin, which is what prompted citizens to contact the police. The suspect was arrested and advised he’d be summoned in the mail with a court date.

Police responded to a disturbance in progress and determined that while arguing with a store clerk about payment for cigarettes, the suspect threatened to harm a transgender male and verbally abusing him about his gender. A suspect got into a verbal fight with his parents, and his brother told him to stop. The suspect got a knife and went after his brother. They fought on the ground; however, the knife had fallen out of the suspect’s hand. The suspect continued to tell the victim that he was going to kill him. Officers also found numerous holes in the walls and doors broken by the suspect. He was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect stole $600 worth of items by using magnets to remove the security tags. Security had seen her in the store earlier in the day stealing but weren’t able to catch her when she left. When she returned the second time, they successfully detained her.

The suspect was contacted during an investigation of Malicious Mischief. The investigating officer determined that the suspect was responsible for breaking multiple, city-owned decorative planters within the downtown corridor. The suspect was identified by the witness as the person willfully damaging private property without provocation. He was arrested and booked into jail.
