Bellevue detectives, in a joint operation with the FBI Seattle Division, arrested 24-year-old Isaiah Kanehisa-Glenn, and he has been charged with Promoting Prostitution, Tampering with a Witness, and violating a No Contact Order. Kanehisa-Glenn is accused of forcing a 22-year-old female into prostitution at a Bellevue hotel on August 27, 2020.
Investigators say Kanehisa-Glenn posted advertisements on several prostitution websites with the victim’s photograph and used his own phone number to communicate with potential sex buyers. Detectives called the phone number, made a date, then busted Kanehisa-Glenn as he left the hotel room with the victim inside.
Since Kanehisa-Glenn and the victim were together in the hotel room, he was charged with violating a No Contact Order. That order was issued after Kanehisa-Glenn was arrested and charged with DV Assault 2nd degree, DV Robbery, and Unlawful Imprisonment in Seattle in July. The same 22-year-old victim was involved in both cases.

During a search after the arrest, detectives found $4,396 in Kanehisa-Glenn’s possession.
Bellevue police are connecting the victim with appropriate social services.
