A former employee made fraudulent returns from customer purchases onto his credit card, defrauding the business over the course of one month. The suspect was terminated, and the theft was reported after the fact. The suspect admitted to the theft, and the case has been filed with the prosecutor.

The victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint by a known subject in the apartment complex parking lot.  The suspect also used a knife to puncture a tire on the victim’s vehicle.  The victim was not injured.  The investigation is ongoing.

The intoxicated suspect was confronted by his girlfriend about a possible affair after she heard him calling another woman “baby” on the phone.  He struck her arm, which caused a minor injury.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a welfare check with information about felons who were possibly staying at the hotel.  They located a male subject outside of the room in question.  It was determined that he had a DOC escape warrant, and he is listed as a violent offender.  He was arrested without incident.  There was also a female in the hotel room.  Hotel staff advised her to leave the property by 0615 hours.

 NARRATIVE

The victims were depositing money at an ATM in Redmond when they noticed a vehicle driving nearby.  After the transaction, they drove home and parked outside their residence. A black male suspect with a handgun approached and told them to hand over their property.  They dropped their items and ran away.  The suspect fired one round into the air.  A witness watched as the suspect then entered the victim’s vehicle and attempted to steal it.  He could not get the vehicle to start.  The suspect then exited the car and ran away.  He eventually entered a moving vehicle that appeared to be the same car the victims initially noticed at the bank.  The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect choked and hit his brother over a family feud. This occurred at a bus stop where several people witnessed and called in. The victim had a swollen neck and several scratches. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

An unknown suspect shoplifted $300-500 worth of alcoholic beverages and ice cream. Loss prevention attempted to stop him as he left the store. The suspect threatened the loss prevention agent with what appeared to be a homemade edged weapon of some kind. The suspect was last seen running southbound across NE 20th St. pushing a shopping cart containing the stolen merchandise. No one was injured. A K9 track was unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

Bellevue Officers responded to the Waterfront in the City of Kirkland in reference to a Shooting/Assault that just occurred. BPD Officers assisted Kirkland PD with Perimeter and K9 track for the suspect.

Police responded to a Burglary in progress and determined that the suspect had jumped a perimeter wall of the Condo Complex and gained access to the underground garage storage and parking area without permission. A perimeter was set, and K-9 track initiated but was unsuccessful. The witness could not confirm if any property was taken from the location. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to an armed robbery and determined that the victim was approached in the parking lot of the business and threatened with a handgun by the suspect as he demanded money. The victim stated that he drove away from the suspect and immediately called 911. A perimeter was set and K9 track initiated, however, it was unsuccessful. Officers discovered video of the robbery and the suspects fleeing westbound in a vehicle prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a Violation of a Protection Order and determined that the suspect had been following the victim in her vehicle and had violated the distance stipulations of a served protection order listing the victim as the protected person. Further, the suspect was caught on video egging the victim’s home. Officers observed that the suspect is the ex-girlfriend of the victim’s boyfriend and is showing a pattern of stalking the victim. The officer observed that suspect may be suffering from possible mental health issues. The suspect was advised that she would be summoned in the mail with a court date. BFD CARES referral initiated for the suspect.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and determined that the suspect had assaulted her husband repeatedly during an argument. The victim had apparent injuries and a ripped shirt from the assault. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and determined that while arguing with his girlfriend, the suspect had assaulted her, causing obvious injury. The suspect fled prior to police arriving and was summoned with a court date.

Police contacted the suspect because he was passed out in a running vehicle. The officer observed that the suspect was obviously DUI, sleeping in the driver’s seat of the running vehicle and blocking eastbound traffic at the intersection. Officers observed an opened cold pack of beer with multiple empty beer cans within. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect during a social contact.  The suspect voluntarily provided the officer with his name. The investigating officer discovered that the suspect had an outstanding Felony Warrant out of Seattle PD for Assault 2. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to single-vehicle collision where the suspect vehicle had crashed into a parked vehicle at the location. Upon arrival and contact with suspect driver, the officer determined that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to the consumption of alcohol and drugs. A DUI investigation was initiated, and probable cause was established. The suspect was arrested and released to a sober family member.

Police responded to an armed robbery in progress and located a suspect vehicle fleeing northbound on Factoria Blvd and onto EB I90. The suspect vehicle was pursued westbound on I-90, and the vehicle was lost at Mercer Island near the tunnel, and the pursuit was terminated. Mercer Island PD advised an area check conducted with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and determined that the suspect had multiple warrants out for his arrest and that he was driving with a suspended license. The suspect lied about his name, using his brother’s name and DOB instead of his own. The suspect was positively identified, arrested and advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

Police responded to a burglary report and determined that a suspect had made illegal entry into the victim’s residence and stole an unsecured firearm. The victim stated that he was upstairs when the burglary occurred and that his RING Camera system alerted him to the suspect leaving his residence. The victim stated that it was some time before he discovered his handgun was missing and decided to contact police. The officer determined that it was at least an hour before police arrived on scene to address the victim’s burglary call. The investigation is ongoing, and the firearm was entered as stolen.

Police contacted the suspects for a traffic violation and observed burglary tools within the vehicle. After obtaining the driver’s license from the suspect driver and walking back to the patrol vehicle, the suspect vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed. The investigation is ongoing.

An impatient customer at a restaurant in North Bend uttered a vague threat about Bellevue while picking up his food.  The subject left in a black SUV with an unknown plate.  A credit card transaction record has possible suspect information for follow up.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and discovered the suspect exiting the lobby, bleeding from his head and arms. Investigating officers contacted the suspect; however, he would not cooperate with them in any way. Based on the suspect’s condition and nature of the call, the suspect was advised that he was being detained for investigation of assault. Officers on scene began checking the floors to the building, and minutes later, a victim was located within the lobby of the location. Officers observed that the victim had injuries. The officer determined that the suspect had assaulted the victim during an argument in the elevator, and victim had fought back defending himself. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
