The victims were depositing money at an ATM in Redmond when they noticed a vehicle driving nearby. After the transaction, they drove home and parked outside their residence. A black male suspect with a handgun approached and told them to hand over their property. They dropped their items and ran away. The suspect fired one round into the air. A witness watched as the suspect then entered the victim’s vehicle and attempted to steal it. He could not get the vehicle to start. The suspect then exited the car and ran away. He eventually entered a moving vehicle that appeared to be the same car the victims initially noticed at the bank. The investigation is ongoing. |

Further, the suspect was caught on video egging the victim’s home. Officers observed that the suspect is the ex-girlfriend of the victim’s boyfriend and is showing a pattern of stalking the victim. The officer observed that suspect may be suffering from possible mental health issues. The suspect was advised that she would be summoned in the mail with a court date. BFD CARES referral initiated for the suspect. |

Based on the suspect’s condition and nature of the call, the suspect was advised that he was being detained for investigation of assault. Officers on scene began checking the floors to the building, and minutes later, a victim was located within the lobby of the location. Officers observed that the victim had injuries. The officer determined that the suspect had assaulted the victim during an argument in the elevator, and victim had fought back defending himself. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. |
