NARRATIVE
The victim contacted officers and reported he was assaulted by his roommate on Saturday (10/10). During the investigation, officers learned the victim and suspect were at their residence and began arguing. During the argument, the suspect dumped hot/boiling water on the victim, causing severe burns to his upper body. The victim was initially reluctant to report the incident but decided to do so after speaking to his attorney. The victim suffered moderate/severe burns and went to the hospital after speaking to officers. A short time later, officers went to the residence to continue their investigation. The suspect was contacted, and probable cause was established for Felony DV Assault. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail. |

Officers responded to an unwanted subject and contacted a shoplifting suspect. She provided a false name to officers and was immediately placed in handcuffs due to the warrants that came back with the false name she provided. Moments later, she confessed to the officer what her actual name was. Her true name returned with non-extraditable warrants. Officers searched her person and discovered an identification card that belonged to another female. She was summonsed for providing false information to an officer and for having another person’s identification card on her. She was released without incident. |

Officers responded to a disturbance call related to the victim getting assaulted by an unknown suspect.
