Police responded to a car theft investigation and determined that the victim’s vehicle was stolen between the hours of 0015-0020 by an unknown suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a physical disturbance in progress between two tenants.  Probable cause was developed for a misdemeanor assault and the primary suspect was arrested a few hours later after returning to the scene.  The Suspect was processed at BPD booking and released due to a health condition.  Charges may be filed on the primary suspect’s mother pending positive identification.

The reporting party reported being in a fight in the parking garage on 10/13/20 with an unidentified associate of an unidentified acquaintance that he met on social media.  The reporting party requested only documentation of the incident.

 NARRATIVE

An officer observed a suspect in the business standing by a vehicle. The vehicle is associated with a registered owner with a Felony Warrant.  The suspect’s ID was confirmed as the registered owner, and was booked into jail.

The officer completed a traffic stop for a moving violation and determined the driver was driving with a suspended license, and he had an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and he was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance in progress. The caller stated a female was screaming for help, and there were sounds of a struggle. Officers contacted the female in the apartment, and she appeared in distress. There were no elements of a crime, and officers confirmed she was safe.

An officer witnessed defective equipment and completed a traffic stop. The officer was also alerted to warrant subjects associated with the vehicle. It was determined that both suspects were the warrant subjects.  Police records also showed that subjects were habitual offenders for criminal activity. The warrants were confirmed and transported for booking.

The parties involved have a child in common and were in a verbal disturbance when a nearly empty plastic milk jug was being waved around and hit the female in the head, not causing pain.  The investigation could not determine intent, and probable cause was not established.  The case was forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

The suspect chased the victim down the street from her apartment, demanding the return of her phone.  The victim was placed in fear of assault by the suspect’s actions and reported being assaulted earlier in the week.  The suspect was booked into jail.

An officer found a stolen vehicle that appeared abandoned.  The officer confirmed there were no occupants and processed the stolen recovery. The registered owner responded and took custody of the vehicle.

Sometime overnight, the suspect entered the attached garage through a window and located the keys to the gun safe.  2 shotguns were stolen.

 NARRATIVE

Officers went to the business to serve a court order to a subject who had been staying at the location.  After successfully serving the order, the officers left but returned a short time later after the subject caused a disturbance.  Based on the circumstances known at the time, officers returned and attempted to detain/arrest the subject for a violation of the order.  The subject refused to comply with the officers.  After a lengthy investigation, most uniformed personnel left the scene while members of SWAT remained.  The investigation is still on-going.

 NARRATIVE

Officers returned today to the business after employees reported a disturbance involving a subject who had been served a court order yesterday.  The subject’s presence at the location violated the order, thus giving officers probable cause to arrest.  Upon arrival, officers located the subject to the rear of the property, yelling obscenities.  As officers investigated, the subject made several attempts to provoke officers into a fight, but they were unsuccessful.  A short time later, officers formulated an arrest plan and executed it.  The subject was booked into jail.

Officers investigated a disturbance involving a repeat offender.  The suspect threatened to kill his acquaintances over a package delivery. The suspect was gone when the officer arrived but based on the victim (2) statements; the officer filed charges for Felony Harassment.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a robbery in progress involving a handgun. The victim/clerk reported that a male suspect displayed a black colored handgun and demanded money. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in a black colored sedan. There were no injuries to the victim. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officer investigated a domestic disturbance in progress involving an ex-girlfriend and her daughter. The suspect made demands and began to physically assault the ex-girlfriend. The suspect began throwing property at both victims, causing damage, and stole property before police arrival. Multiple charges were filed – unknown whereabouts for the suspect.

Officers responded to a welfare check of a subject slumped over the wheel in the parking lot.  The suspect was contacted and had an outstanding felony warrant for MV theft out of King County.  The suspect was arrested, and it was later learned that the vehicle the suspect was contacted in was stolen. The vehicle was recovered, and charges were sent to the prosecutor.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and determined that the intoxicated suspect had assaulted his mom repeatedly while arguing with her. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect didn’t have a key and kicked in the apartment door because he was angry. The victim locked herself in the bedroom, and the suspect kicked that door open as well. While calling 911, the suspect took the phone from the victim and assaulted her. The suspect was gone when police arrived, and the victim refused to cooperate. There’s significant DV history with the two; charges were filed.

A manager called to report several locks cut between the date of 10-22 and 10-24. One victim was located, and it was determined over $2000 worth of belongings had been stolen to include a WWII gun.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a call of an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, the investigating officers contacted suspects 1 and 2 and determined that both had Felony Warrants from out of State for their arrest. S1’s Felony Warrant was confirmed out of Oregon for Dangerous Drugs, and she was taken into custody as a Fugitive from Justice. S2 was released at the scene because the ORI Agency would not confirm his Felony Warrant. S1 was transported and booked into jail.
