Bellevue police are not currently aware of any protests planned in the city. We are receiving calls from concerned residents and businesses who are hearing rumors of events. There is a tremendous amount of disinformation on social media, and that is understandably causing anxiety. We want to assure everyone that we do not have any information about planned protests in Bellevue.
However, please be vigilant and let us know if you hear something so we can investigate. Bellevue police are staffed appropriately and flexible in responding to any situation. While election day is tomorrow, the uncertainty may remain for a while.
