 NARRATIVE

Police responded TO a report of shots fired, and when they arrived, they located an intoxicated victim who had been violently assaulted. A neighbor reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from the direction of the residence. A perimeter was set, and PA announcements were made.  There were also multiple attempts to call into the residence that were unsuccessful. Investigators found a blood trail leading into the residence. There was no response at the front door after multiple attempts to contact people inside. Officers breached the front door and called out to the suspects, but no response. The Immediate Action Team made entry and located multiple suspects pretending to be asleep. While conducting a protective sweep, officers located a recklessly concealed AR-15 Rifle hidden in the residence. Officers followed the blood trail from the front door to the back-living room area where there was evidence of a violent assault, and shell casings were located. The scene was locked down and turned over to detectives. While investigating the exterior perimeter of the location, officers located a vehicle that was recently involved in a drive-by shooting out of Tacoma PD. The vehicle was seized and impounded at the station at the request of Tacoma PD. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress and determined that the suspect had assaulted his father while arguing with his parents. The suspect was arrested and booked.

 NARRATIVE

Police were conducting directed patrol operations due to recent criminal activity at the residence. Police contacted the suspects for a traffic violation and recognized one of the suspects as an assault victim from last evening’s investigation and knew he had an outstanding warrant out of Adams County. The officer discovered that the other suspect also had an outstanding felony warrant out of Colorado. The second suspect was detained for investigation of his warrant, and while exiting the vehicle, the officer observed what appeared to be suspected heroin on the ground near his location. A frisk of this suspect netted several dangerous weapons, furtively concealed on the suspect’s person. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.  The first suspect was issued a traffic citation and released.

 NARRATIVE

 An unidentified male in his 20’s was seen throwing rocks at the glass windows of a bus stop shelter. He was gone prior to police arriving and was not located. A Metro supervisor advised that the damage to the shelter was approximately $1,600.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a verbal argument between a husband and wife. Officers encountered the husband when they arrived, and he advised them that the disturbance never got physical. With his permission, officers entered the home and conducted a protective sweep. They didn’t locate the wife who reportedly had left for an appointment.

 NARRATIVE

Two suspects suspected of stealing items from the store fled on foot.  Officers located them a short distance away and detained them.  The merchandise was recovered, and one of the suspects was arrested for theft.

 NARRATIVE

Two subjects were at the location with a juvenile female that they were attempting to exploit. One suspect was suspected of having a firearm, drugs, and ID Theft. Both suspects are felons. The first suspect was arrested without incident.  The second suspect jumped off the 3rd story balcony where he was quickly apprehended. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance and discovered less than cooperative subjects. Officers determined there was probable cause to arrest the girlfriend for misdemeanor assault against her boyfriend. She was booked.

Police responded to a burglary in an office building and located the subject in a bathroom, where he likely spent the night.  The reporting party declined to press charges and requested a notice of trespass.

 NARRATIVE

The victim was receiving death threats from his wife’s ex-husband.  The suspect admitted to sending the threats because the victim was using his vehicle, and he wanted it back.  Ultimately, the victim declined to press charges, and police assisted the suspect in getting his vehicle back.

Officers arrested a subject at this address, which is where he once lived long ago.  The subject keeps coming to the address even though there are new homeowners.  He was previously issued a notice of trespass for address.  He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Throughout the day, officers from multiple shifts responded to the downtown area regarding a subject that was acting erratic and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.  The subject, who is known by officers, was contacted on several occasions, but no crime could be established, and he did not meet the criteria for an involuntary commitment.  At about 6:00 pm, officers once again responded to the downtown area for the same subject.  He was contacted and determined to be a danger to himself and/or others.  He was transported to the hospital.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plates and moving violations.  Upon contact, the driver was identified as a protected party with the suspect (passenger) as the respondent.  When officers re-contacted the suspect, he provided false information. He was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspects stole $1170 worth of merchandise and were detained by loss prevention.  While investigating the theft, the suspects provided false names to the officers.

A caller reported that his wife left the house without her phone or wallet and was in a mental health crisis. Issaquah PD located the wife, and she voluntarily went to the hospital for medical treatment.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect was a passenger in the vehicle involved in case 21-3779.  He was detained due to the nature of the call and found to have numerous warrants out for his arrest, including a $10,000 Theft/Paraphernalia warrant out of Bothell. The suspect was arrested and transported to Bothell, where he was turned over.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot and determined the suspect was choking his girlfriend in her vehicle and then exited the vehicle.  When the girlfriend attempted to leave, the male jumped on top of the vehicle and began pulling the female’s hair through the sunroof.  The victim slammed on the brakes, and the suspect slid off the vehicle and later disappeared. A K9 track was negative. A male passenger in the backseat of the victim’s vehicle was booked for unrelated warrants.

Officers were dispatched to an assault that occurred at the business learned a suspect had spit on the victim during an argument.  When they arrived, an officer located the suspect, arrested him and booked him into jail.

An unknown suspect pushed an employee away from an open safe and took about $500.00. The suspect was last seen running south from the location. The employee was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect assaulted his girlfriend three times during an argument as he followed her through the apartment.  The suspect fled the location before police arrived. A summons was filed for DV Assault 4.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect smashed a car window and stole a backpack from inside.  Officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the area.  The suspect vehicle eluded emergency lights and sirens, and officers discontinued attempts to stop the vehicle.  A short time later, Mercer Island PD advised of a hit and run collision involving the vehicle into a tree.  A K9 track was unsuccessful.  The investigation is ongoing.

Unknown suspect(s) stole a truck with an attached trailer from the victim’s apartment complex.
