 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress and determined that the suspect had assaulted his girlfriend while arguing. Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested. The search following the arrest netted (6.64) grams of suspected methamphetamine, (8.01) grams of suspected heroin, and $1071 in cash. Probable cause was established for Felony Drugs with Intent to Deliver. The drugs and cash were seized from the suspect. He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Unknown suspects made illegal entry into a construction site and stole a construction vehicle. The vehicle was in Lynnwood and located by Lynnwood PD. Further, the onsite tool shed was breached, and approximately $3000-$3500 worth of tools were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A subject was shirtless, running through traffic on 116th Ave NE between cars and the lane of travel. The subject was highly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs (or both). Officers were able to calm him and transport him to the hospital for care.

A subject was slashing his roommate’s beds with a knife and threatened to kill the roommates, who were not home.  The subject’s girlfriend contacted police advising the subject was in mental distress. Officers arrived and were able to get the subject to the hospital for care without incident.

An intoxicated subject started breaking multiple items in the kitchen. His wife was away from the house during the disturbance. Their two daughters were at home, and they called 911. The suspect was arrested for DV Malicious Mischief and booked into jail.

The suspect and victim are in a relationship and were in an argument tonight. The suspect punched the victim and was in violation of a valid no-contact order. The suspect also assaulted the victim’s one-year-old daughter two days prior. The suspect fled on foot. A K9 unit responded, but the track was unsuccessful, and officers were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect also had an out-of-state extraditable felony warrant. Charges were filed with the prosecutor’s office.

Loss prevention detained the suspect after concealing approximately $300 worth of merchandise and attempting to leave without paying. The suspect was arrested, released and advised they’d be summoned in the mail with a court date.

A caller reported the couple he was renting from was in an argument, and the suspect assaulted the victim.  The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and he could not be located. Both the victim and reporting party stated they would call police if he returned. Probable cause was established, and charges were referred to the prosecutor’s office.

Roommates were engaged in a verbal argument when one threatened to physically harm the other and damaged his bedroom door. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail without incident.

An unknown person emailed BPD Records indicating there was a potential bomb somewhere in the Botanical Garden / Wilburton Forest area / Railroad Trestle.  The threat was possibly associated with a person of interest known to be in a mental health crisis. Botanical Garden staff reported nothing suspicious, additionally, nothing was found in the Garden or near the trestle.

 NARRATIVE

The victim heard a car alarm activation and exited their unit to investigate. The victim saw the suspect near his vehicle and verbally confronted the suspect, who in turn pointed a handgun at the victim. The suspect got into the back seat of a black sedan and fled the scene. There were no injuries or shots fired. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Loss prevention reported a shoplift in progress, and officers were notified that the suspects had left the store and entered a rental truck in the parking lot.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the suspects inside the truck and provided NORCOM with the license plate.  NORCOM notified the officers the truck was a stolen vehicle, and a modified high-risk contact was conducted.  All suspects were detained without incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

Detectives developed probable cause for the suspect for identity theft and obtained a search warrant for his apartment. Downtown Unit officers secured the apartment and provided security during the search. Officers also took the main suspect into custody when he returned to the apartment complex after the warrant service, and he was booked into jail.

Detectives established probable cause for the suspect for a rape that occurred on 2/10/21. Detectives developed information that the suspect was at this location. Downtown Unit officers made contact and took the suspect into custody. He was booked into jail.

Officers contacted a subject sitting in a car in the parking lot. They developed probable cause to arrest the subject and one of his associates for drugs. The arrest netted about 1 oz of suspected heroin, 1 gram of suspected cocaine, and $2700 cash.

The suspect/patient became upset for no apparent reason, removed a plastic container from the ER, and threw it at a glass door. There was approximately $1,150 worth of damage to the room and equipment. The suspect was booked into jail.

The suspect assaulted his girlfriend and fled when the bloody victim went to the neighbor for help, who called police.  A police K9 track was conducted with the help of Seattle PD, but after an extensive track, it was unsuccessful.  There is probable cause for DV assault 4th degree, and the suspect has a DOC Escape warrant.

The business was burglarized during the overnight hours.  The suspect(s) used a saw to cut off the hinges to the safe and stole the money inside.  There was an alarm, and the alarm company notified the business’s emergency contact, but police were not requested at that time.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation and determined the driver was driving with a suspended license and had warrants. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect created a disturbance at the establishment and challenged to fight other tenants. The suspect was heavily intoxicated. Staff wanted the suspect trespassed. The suspect continued to be belligerent in officers’ presence. Officers arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct, and he was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a car theft that had just occurred, and an officer close to the scene observed a vehicle matching the description leaving the area. The suspect saw the officer and drove over the curb and eluded the officer back into the apartment complex. The officer did not pursue and located the freshly unoccupied vehicle in the apartment complex. A perimeter was established, and a K9 conducted a search, but the suspect was not located. Officers processed the vehicle, recovered evidence, and released the vehicle to the victim at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a hiking trail near Bellevue Airfield Park after receiving a call from a female victim about a male who was exposing himself.  While en-route, officers learned the victim and another woman were now running from the male who was following them.  Officers arrived shortly after and contacted the victim.  Officers confirmed the description of the male, and several motor officers began driving the trail attempting to locate him.  The male was located and detained without incident.  While officers were conducting their investigation, a separate female victim called 911 to report a similar incident.  This victim stated she was on the same trail and approached by the same male.  When the male approached her, he grabbed her and pulled her towards him.  This victim was able to free herself and then walked away.  She later called 911 when she returned home.  Both victims conducted were able to positively identify the detained male as the suspect.  The suspect was subsequently arrested for Kidnapping and Exposing and booked into jail.

Officers assisted with traffic control for Bellevue Fire regarding a carbon monoxide alarm activation that was contained to the interior of the store. The call generated a HAZMAT response, but there was no hazard to the public, BPD personnel, and there were no store employees on site.

The victim and suspect were at the victim’s house, and a verbal argument occurred. The verbal argument became physical when the suspect slapped and scratched the victim. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The suspect was intoxicated at the time of the report. Charges were filed for assault.
