Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic disturbance and determined no assault occurred.  However, the suspect was the respondent in a no-contact order with the victim (spouse). The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

An unknown suspect burglarized the business sometime over the weekend.

Loss prevention contacted two subjects outside the story.  One subject sprayed the loss prevention officer in the face with Bear Mace. The second subject attempted to strike another loss prevention officer with the getaway car.  The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a trespass in progress and found an intoxicated subject who was previously issued a notice of trespass and was verbally hostile to the investigating officers.  He refused to leave after numerous warnings.  Based upon his behavior toward patrons and officers, it was believed he would return to the property and cause further issues if released.  He was booked into jail.

Officers contacted a subject in the parking lot for a $50,000 DUI warrant out of Kirkland PD. A search after the arrest yielded several items taken in car prowls over the past three days from Bellevue.  The suspect’s male companion was arrested for violating a DV order with the female.

An officer located a stolen car at the South Bellevue Community Center with a missing front license plate, punched ignition, and catalytic converter removed. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to an alarm activation and discovered obvious signs of forced entry. During the investigation, it appeared the suspect(s) tampered with the area where the safe was concealed, but the safe was not compromised. Two empty cash register tills were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to an argument between a mother and son.  The son reportedly shoved his mother.  When she called 911, the suspect continued to grab her arms. The suspect fled before police arrived.  Charges were forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

A shoplifter punched loss prevention as she tried to flee the store. Loss prevention detained her, and she was arrested and booked into jail.

The reporting parted reported for security work and discovered a vehicle on a jack with a missing wheel/tire.

Shoplift/Warrant Arrest

Suspects entered a store and were confronted by loss prevention as they left. The suspects managed to run to their vehicle and attempted to drive away, only to find the exit blocked by security personnel. The male suspect driver ran from the vehicle and was caught by security and turned over to police. He then provided a false identity. When his true identity was discovered, so were multiple felony warrants. The suspect was booked into jail on the warrants. The female suspect was detained and released at the scene and will be summoned in the mail for theft.

Officers observed a suspect pursuing another vehicle along 140^th Ave NE.  The officers stopped the suspect and found she was covered in her own blood.  The suspect was arrested for DUI after being cleared by AID.  The second vehicle fled the area at the time of the traffic stop.

An officer say a suspect in a stolen vehicle out of Seattle. A high-risk vehicle stop was initiated, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.

Tacoma PD notified NORCOM about an armed suicidal subject in the area. Officers located the subject in his vehicle. A contact team was established and successfully took the subject into protective custody without incident. A firearm was located and retrieved.

While conducting a patrol check, an officer noticed an occupied vehicle parked in the parking lot. The officer ran the plates and identified the driver, who had a DUI Warrant out of Seattle. The driver’s identity and warrant were confirmed.  He was booked into jail.

Bike officers contacted the suspect, who had several warrants from multiple agencies. The suspect had five misdemeanor warrants out of Lake Forest Park for a total bail of $6,500. Lake Forest Park confirmed the warrants. Officers transported the suspect and turned him over to Lake Forest Park.

Officers investigated allegations of unwanted sexual touching that occurred between coworkers at a business throughout 2020.  Officers interviewed the alleged victim and obtained a statement.  Detectives were notified of the circumstances.

Officers were dispatched to a strong-arm robbery after an unknown shoplift suspect punched an employee in the stomach/ribs.  The suspect then fled the area on foot and could not be located. The investigation is ongoing.

Car Prowl-Eluding

Security watched a car prowl, and officers responded. Attempts to stop the suspect as he fled the scene in a vehicle without plates failed, with the suspect refusing to stop and evading officers.  Officers discontinued their efforts to initiate the stop. The vehicle sustained damage while driving over C-curbing and entered southbound on I-405. Officers followed at a safe distance, hoping WSP would respond to our request for assistance. The smoking vehicle was last seen southbound on I 405 in the area of Exit 4 in Renton.

A victim called 911 to have a subject removed from his apartment. The victim was a protected person in a DV No Contact order with the subject. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. The case was filed with the prosecutor.

DUI

2000 Blk 148^th Ave NE

A suspect was asleep behind the wheel while at a traffic light. The passenger was also passed out. Several cars had formed a line behind the subject, who was several car lengths from the light. Unable to wake the driver, Officers opened the driver’s door and immediately saw numerous wires coming from the steering column. The driver was an officer safety subject and known to BPD. Both subjects were taken from the vehicle. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into jail. The passenger was later released.

Officers encountered a subject who was exhibiting erratic behavior and possibly under the influence of drugs. Officers got him to calm down and were able to detain him without incident. He was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Attempt Kidnap

The suspect pulled his vehicle next to the victim as she walked on the sidewalk. He approached her and ordered her to get into the vehicle. When she refused, he threatened her with a weapon. She refused again and attempted to flag down a passing vehicle. The suspect left the scene and was last seen entering the on-ramp for westbound SR-520 from Bellevue Way. Detectives responded, and traffic camera video was obtained of the suspect vehicle.  The victim was not injured.

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and determined that the suspect was driving with a suspended license. The suspect was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.
