 NARRATIVE

The suspect called in because she thought she had left her keys in a changing room and was requesting assistance getting them back.  While assisting the suspect, the officer learned she had a DV Assault warrant out of Tukwila.  Upon confirmation of the warrant, the suspect was searched incident to arrest, and the officer discovered 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a bag, later determined to be the suspects.  Based on the quantity and the 25 small plastic baggies found in her possession, charges for drugs will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.  She was booked into jail without incident.

 NARRATIVE

The caller contacted the Bellevue PD and reported that the suspect was slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle with a beer can next to her. The officer responded to the location and investigated the incident. He determined there was enough probable cause to arrest her for DUI. She was subsequently arrested and booked into jail without incident.

 NARRATIVE

The victims contacted the Bellevue PD and reported that someone had entered the unlocked garage to their home and stole several gardening tools and snowboards. The victims also reported that the suspect had rummaged through their car.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a disturbance in progress involving family roommates. The disturbance became physical when the suspect assaulted his brother-in-law and threatened to kill him before leaving the scene. Officers located the suspect driving in the area and detained him for questioning. Based on the evidence and statements, the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The victim was waiting in the parking lot when he was approached by an unknown male, who stuck something in his back, then stole rings and jewelry from his person. The victim went to Crossroads Substation and reported the incident and did not wish to pursue charges.

 NARRATIVE

Numerous agencies responded to a Marine Incident to the report of a person in the water. It was later determined that a 33-year-old old male had jumped into the lake from a boat to get his 4-year-old daughter, who had fallen into the lake.  The male never surfaced, and the incident was seen by numerous witnesses.  Rescue efforts were unsuccessful, and recovery was called for the night.  Mercer Island PD is handling the case.

 NARRATIVE

The officer contacted the suspect for an obscured license plate and discovered the driver was driving with a suspended license.  He was advised he would receive a summons in the mail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect stole a watch. He had entered the store from a stolen vehicle parked across the lot. The officer contacted the male as he left the store and ultimately arrested him.  The stolen vehicle was recovered, and numerous items of suspected stolen property were located inside the car.  He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a theft in progress and determined that the suspect had concealed approximately $1900 worth of merchandise on his person and made no attempt to pay before leaving the business. Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the business. The suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers contacted the suspect as she was passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Officers observed the suspect exhibiting the effects of impairment due to drug consumption. Following a DUI investigation, probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested. Officers observed multiple items of suspected drug paraphernalia within plain view inside of the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a hit and run investigation.  The vehicle struck a juvenile female walking with her family.  One of the tires on the suspect vehicle was dislodged.  Officers arrived in the area  and observed a black SUV had been traveling northbound on Bellevue Way NE at the 200 block. The suspect SUV made no attempt to stop and continued northbound on Bellevue Way, driving on three tires and leaving a trail of sparks and hot metal. The suspect vehicle was located in Kirkland on LK Washington Blvd NE and the driver, who appeared to be extremely intoxicated, was detained by officers on scene. Following a DUI investigation, the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.  The victim was not seriously injured.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a suspicious situation. A concerned citizen had contacted PD because of an occupied, suspicious vehicle parked behind a business. The reporting party stated that two males were observed changing clothes around the vehicle and that there was a female suspect sitting in the vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and initiated a social contact with the male suspects, who refused contact and fled from location on foot. The female suspect was contacted, and officers developed reasonable suspicion to detain the female, observing suspected drug paraphernalia within the vehicle in plain view. The female suspect played the name game but was eventually identified, and officers determined that she had an outstanding, confirmed DOC Warrant for Escape Community Custody. She was arrested and booked into jail. The other two male suspects could not be located.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers found a 9-year old autistic child wandering around 125th Ave SE and SE 32nd St.  The child was barefoot and hungry.  Officers provided the child with food and he was medically cleared.  It was eventually found the child walked away from a caregiver’s home in the area.  The child normally resides in Federal Way with his mother but also spends time in Bellevue when the mother is at work. The home was found to be warm, orderly and food was present.  Officers later went by the home again and provided the child a birthday cupcake as it was his birthday.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect had a No Bail Parole Violation Warrant for Robbery and was in possession of a stolen vehicle at the above location.  Consent was given to make contact in the apartment where the male was inside.  Contact was established from outside the apartment, and the suspect exited without incident and was taken into custody. He was booked into jail on the warrant.

 NARRATIVE

Parents were involved in a disturbance with their adult daughter. The daughter spat on her parents and elbowed her father in the chest. She was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect during a theft investigation.  Officers determined that the prolific theft suspect was victimizing multiple stores in the area. Officers also determined that the suspect had multiple Theft Warrants for her arrest from various jurisdictions within King County. She was advised that she would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover collision and observed that the vehicle had launched off 116th into the ravine just south of the intersection, narrowly missing a construction crew working on a utility pole nearby. BFD rescue and medics had to forcibly extricate the suspect from his vehicle, and he was transported to the hospital with serious internal injuries. Officers observed signs of impairment and suspected drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers contacted the suspects while investigating a call of a suspicious circumstance. The reporting party stated the suspicious vehicle was parked behind the business. Officers observed that both suspects were in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia within plain view inside of the vehicle. Officers confirmed that one suspect had an outstanding, confirmed MISD Warrant for Assault out of Issaquah PD. Both suspects were advised that they would be summoned in the mail with a court date released at the scene.

A suspect was observed driving his vehicle onto the curb while he swerved on the roadway. Officers conducted a DUI investigation and the suspect was arrested.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect called his ex-girlfriend and threatened to burn down her trailer with people inside.  He also stated he would come over and shoot it up, killing her and her current boyfriend if he didn’t get his items back.  He left these messages on voicemail and text. The female was at the apartment complex, and the suspect also attempted to take her purse to get his money back, causing her reasonable fear of injury. The suspect fled the scene before PD arrived.  Charges were referred to the prosecutor.

 NARRATIVE

An intoxicated suspect was playing video games with his roommate (victim). The suspect got agitated and grabbed a knife and threatened to kill the victim. The victim called 911. The suspect exited the apartment while officers were talking to the victim, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into jail.
