Officers located a stolen vehicle in a parking lot with a dog left inside. KCSO Animal Control took possession of the dog. The registered owner of the vehicle was advised of the recovery and requested that his vehicle not be impounded.

The victim reported that someone entered her recently deceased mother’s condo. She further explained that nothing was taken from the unit. She advised the officer that the neighbors were the ones who notified her that they had seen an unknown person come out of her mother’s unit. She was not able to provide that neighbor’s information. There is no sign of forced entry.

The officer contacted the reporting party, who advised him that someone had broken into the back door to the restaurant and stole $1300 out of the register. He believes the incident happened overnight. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious Circumstances

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance involving a husband and wife. The wife said the husband left in a vehicle with their children, and a gun was involved. Officers and located the IP in a vehicle; however, no children and no gun were involved. The wife clarified the children were not with the husband and believed the gun might have been in the vehicle. Officers made a complete search of the vehicle and the apartment, but no gun was located. No crime was committed.

Carjacking / Assault 1

The victim left his vehicle running while he ran inside to get his phone.  When the victim returned, he observed his vehicle being driven away by the suspects.  The victim’s vehicle turned onto westbound NE 8^th St and immediately turned into a nearby parking lot.  The victim ran down the street to confront the suspects.  The victim entered his vehicle and punched the suspect driver several times. The suspect pulled out a handgun and it was initially reported that several shots were fired, none striking the victim.  It was later determined the suspect just brandished the gun. The victim quickly exited the vehicle and ran away.  The victim’s vehicle was then last seen fleeing westbound on NE 8^th St. Officers located the vehicle, abandoned, in the 12500 Blk NE 6^th Pl.  Seattle K9 responded to conduct a track, and an officer located a suspicious vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Blk 116^th Ave SE. The victim positively identified the two in the carjacking.  Officers located the firearm in the bushes near the abandoned vehicle.  The two suspects were booked into jail.

Officer responded to a domestic disturbance involving a husband and wife. The disturbance involved a physical struggle for a phone began, followed by the suspect injuring the victim during the struggle causing pain and injury. The suspect left the residence but returned a short while later, followed by an arrest and booking into jail.

The suspect intentionally hit a motorcycle with her car after a friend of her boyfriend tried to block it in because he believed the suspect was intoxicated. Also, the suspect was upset with her boyfriend and broke his cell phone. The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

Washington State Patrol asked for assistance with a DUI stop for a female who was heavily intoxicated and crashed on I-405 but had stopped in Bellevue.  The female was combative and resisted WSP Troopers.  A BPD Officer responded and assisted.

Police responded to a theft in progress. Responding officers located the suspect who was being contacted by loss prevention agents several blocks away from the business. Officers determined that the suspect had an outstanding, confirmed felony DV warrant in the amount of $25,000. Probable cause was established for theft. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to an alarm call and located evidence of a commercial burglary that had just occurred. Officers set a perimeter, cleared the business and initiated a K9 track, but it was unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

Officer responded to a theft in progress. The store’s loss prevention chased the fleeing suspect after stealing store merchandise. Loss prevention chased for a short distance when the suspect began complaining of chest pain and shortness of breath. Aid responded, followed by the officer. The investigation showed the subject was in possession of stolen items. He was cited and released.

Officer contacted mall security regarding a subject that shoplifted merchandise from the store. Officers checked the area and located the known subject near the store. They recovered the merchandise. The subject was cited and released.

Investigations developed probable cause and a warrant for the arrest of two suspects for a robbery that occurred in Bellevue.  Detectives located the suspects, and since a gun was used in the crime and there was intel of the male suspect having gang involvement, downtown unit officers served this warrant.  Both subjects were in the hotel room and arrested without incident, and booked into jail.

Possession Stolen Vehicle

Officers learned of a stolen GMC pickup truck in the south parking lot.  Officers arrived and watched as a female approached the truck and got into the driver’s seat. The female was informed that she was under arrest for the theft investigation.  The female locked herself in the car and refused to come out.  After several hours of negotiation by Crisis Response Team negotiators, the female finally exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.  She had a $25,000 felony warrant for DV unlawful imprisonment and DV harassment.  The female was booked on her warrant.

DUI Arrest

Police contacted the suspect for traffic violations. Upon contact, officers observed that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. They initiated a DUI investigation and established probable cause. The suspect was arrested, booked and released to a sober family member.

Police responded to an alarm call, and while enroute to the scene, the alarm company advised that they had the suspect on video surveillance in a secure area, stealing packages from the mail area. Officers arrived on scene, located the suspect, and detained her without incident. Upon identifying the suspect, officers observed that the suspect had a long history of mail and package theft. The suspect was arrested, and a subsequent search netted a multitude of credit cards from different victims and burglary tools. The suspect was booked into jail.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress and determined that an extremely intoxicated female smashed out a window to her boyfriend’s apartment and had left scene. Probable cause was established, and the suspect will be summoned in the mail with a court date for her actions.

A vehicle attempted to pull out of a parking lot onto 116^th Ave NE and was struck by another vehicle. Both vehicles were undrivable. The driver of the first vehicle was arrested for DUI.

Restaurant employees called about an extremely intoxicated female who was attempting to drive.  While speaking with officers, the suspect grabbed and scratched an officer and then spat in their face.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers contacted two subjects after they left a store with a trunk load of stolen items.  They were positively identified, and the stolen merchandise was returned to the store.  The females had minor children with them at the time of the theft.  Child Protective Services was notified.

Officers responded to a subject acting erratically after using narcotics.  The male admitted to ingesting 2 oz of Codeine. Bellevue Fire responded to the scene, and other than an elevated heart rate, the male was deemed medically stable.  The male refused to go to the hospital and was left in the care of his parents.

An adult suspect became angry when his mother would not give him money, so he stole her purse.  There is a DV history between the subjects. The suspect fled before police arrived and will be summoned in the mail.
