 NARRATIVE

An unclothed female stole multiple items from the store and fled to a nearby bus stop.  She grabbed the victim and shoved her, causing her to fall.  CCAT completed the mental health portion, and patrol handled the criminal investigation.

 NARRATIVE

A driver rear-ended a vehicle. The driver exhibited signs of intoxication and was arrested. The driver was released to a sober adult and will be summoned in the mail for DUI and Driving with License Suspended.

 NARRATIVE

The victim reported that an unknown suspect stole his Total Station Equipment. He explained to the officer that he went into a portable toilet to use the restroom and had left his Total Station Survey equipment on the ground outside.  He said when he exited the portable toilet, he noticed that the Total Station was gone. He was advised by a witness that a male jumped out of a passing vehicle and stole the items. The officer conducted a search of the area but was not able to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

An employee reported that an unknown suspect with a mask, hat, and gloves on shattered the glass front door to gain entry into the business. The suspect took two high-end coffee maker systems and two vacuum cleaners. The suspect arrived and fled in an older model two-door white vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

The victim stated that as he was driving north on W Lake Sammamish Pkwy when he observed a male in the middle of the road waving A gun. He stated that he decided to pull over to the shoulder and got out of the vehicle and confront the suspect. The suspect and the victim got into a scuffle, and the suspect was able to take his car keys. The victim then stated the suspect went back to his vehicle. The victim followed him and got into another scuffle with the suspect as he was attempting to drive off with his car keys. The victim advised he was dragged by the suspect for approximately 300 feet before he fell out of the car. He sustained scrapes to his leg. Units in the area located a vehicle matching the suspect’s car. The victim was able to verify that the occupants were not the suspects. They were released on scene without incident. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect broke the bedroom window to an apartment and was likely scared off by the homeowners sleeping in the room he was attempting to breach. Officers established a perimeter initiated a K9 track. The K9 tracked to the suspect. He was arrested and booked into jail on attempted Residential Burglary.

 NARRATIVE

An employee reported that the PSE station was broken into, and copper wiring was stolen. The officer arrived on scene and confirmed the statements made by the caller. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a robbery in progress. The victim, a taxi driver, picked up two suspects from Seattle. The suspects were driven to Issaquah and then to Bellevue. One suspect was dropped off in a Bellevue neighborhood; then the other demanded money from the victim at gunpoint. The victim ran from the vehicle in fear, and the first suspect drove away with the taxi. Officers located the taxi unoccupied in a nearby neighborhood. A perimeter was set, and a K9 track was unsuccessful in locating the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a burglary in progress. The victim interrupted the suspect in the living room with the stolen property in hand. The victim demanded he leave, so he left without further incident. The suspect left in a dark blue colored car with Lyft stickers on the windows. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Loss prevention reported that a shoplifter had walked into the location and selected a pair of shoes. He stated that the suspect proceeded to walk past all points of sale and exited the store without paying for the shoes. The officer arrived on scene and confirmed the caller’s statements. The officer canvassed the area for the suspect but was unable to locate him. The investigation is ongoing.

 July 24

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and observed that the driver was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. The officer conducted a DUI investigation and established probable cause. The driver was arrested and booked.  He was released to a sober family member.

Traffic Collision Investigation

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a single-vehicle collision into a traffic pole. Upon arrival, officers determined that the suspect driver was not exhibiting the effects of impairment or distraction. The suspect driver was operating a brand-new Tesla Sports Car and, while attempting to brake at the intersection, accidentally hit the gas pedal rather than the brakes. The investigating officer observed evidence on scene that corroborated the suspect driver’s statements.

Crossroads Police Substation

 NARRATIVE

The victim arranged a meet in front of the police substation to buy a cellphone. The suspect gave the victim an envelope full of fake money to pay for the phone. The victim realized it was fake money and asked for her phone back.  The suspect ran off with the phone.  Bystanders tackled the suspect and held him for police.

 NARRATIVE

Parents received a phone call from a male claiming he had kidnapped their daughter and was demanding $5,000 in ransom to be delivered to him at a Walmart in the area. He claimed he had a radio scanner to hear all police radio traffic. The parents claimed they heard their daughter crying in the background on the call. The father went to withdraw money but chose to call police.  Officers arrived and confirmed the daughter was at her job and was unaware of what was occurring.  The phone number on the parent’s phone was listed as POSSIBLE SCAM.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a report of a gunshot wound. Officers determined that the female victim had left a club in Seattle with her boyfriend, and while driving home to Tukwila, she and her boyfriend were caught between (two) cars of people shooting at each other. The victim sustained a possible gunshot wound on the left side of her body and was transported to the hospital. The victim and her friend were interviewed, the victim’s injuries were photographed, and the situation was documented. The BPD police report was forwarded to Seattle police.

The facility manager called to report that one of their Black Lives Matter picket lawn signs was slashed by a sharp object and attempted to be set on fire by an unknown subject.

 NARRATIVE

An officer responded to a stolen vehicle call. The victim stated around 10:00 this morning, he noticed that his vehicle was missing.  He explained that he did not believe it was impounded and stated he worked in the lot and parked it here frequently. The officer asked if anyone else had access to the vehicle, and he said everyone who would have driven the vehicle confirmed that they did not take it. The officer was able to confirm that the vehicle was stolen. The investigation is ongoing in this case.
