 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and determined that the suspect was driving with a revoked license and that the suspect had a confirmed, outstanding MISD Warrant out of KCSO for Physical Control in the amount of $5100. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A subject went to his girlfriend’s apartment to get items back from her, and there was a verbal dispute. The girlfriend tried to close the apartment door on the subject when he kicked in the door, causing it to come off its hinges and destroyed the frame. Officers stopped the subject as he fled the scene in a vehicle. He also had a statewide extraditable theft warrant from King County.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

A caller stated a passenger in a truck pointed a rifle at him as they passed each other on NE 8th before entering NB I-405. The caller clarified that it was possibly an airsoft gun and indicated he thought it was done as a joke and was not in fear. He called police for informational purposes only and did not want to press charges.

Roommates got into a fight. Several witnesses saw the suspect punch the victim several times and caused him to fall onto an unlit BBQ. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

A driver collided his vehicle into the carport. He was found unconscious and transported to the hospital. The officer investigated for signs of impairment but was unable to develop probable cause.

 NARRATIVE

A community member called regarding a delivery driver who was banging and kicking the door of an adjacent apartment.  Officers contacted the delivery driver and learned the delivery driver’s significant other was inside and concerned for their welfare.  Officers were able to enter the apartment, where the subject was found without a pulse.  Life-saving measures were performed and were ultimately successful.

Officers contacted the suspect after he was detained by loss prevention for a $412.00 theft incident. The suspect had a DOC escape from community custody warrant out of Bellingham PD and is listed as a missing person. He was arrested and booked into jail.

A girlfriend was visiting her boyfriend when a verbal argument became physical. The boyfriend assaulted his girlfriend, causing minor visible injuries and complaints of pain. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.  Charges were filed.

 NARRATIVE

Officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle observed with a damaged ignition. The subject was linked to the vehicle and discovered to have several warrants issued for his arrest from several agencies. The subject was detained and found to be in possession of approximately $2300.00 worth of stolen merchandise from eight different merchants. The subject was booked into jail.

The victim called 911 and advised that his vehicle was broken into and a firearm was stolen from it, as well as $25 in change. The officer contacted the victim, who advised him that he was not sure exactly what jurisdiction his vehicle was at when it was broken into since he drove through several counties before realizing his gun was missing. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A subject called 911 to report he pulled over to look for damage to his vehicle after allegedly hitting an object in the roadway. He stated an unknown suspect ordered him to the ground and had him throw his wallet toward the suspect. The suspect took cash out of the wallet, then threw it on the ground. The subject waited for 5-minutes before calling 911. He had no idea what direction the suspect fled, no suspect or vehicle information. When confronted regarding the improbability of his story, the subject recanted and admitted he lost the money at the casino. The fake robbery was the excuse he was going to give his wife. A summons was forwarded to the prosecutor for False Reporting 3rd degree.

A marijuana dispensary was robbed at gunpoint with employees and customers inside. The suspects stole approximately $5,000 in product and cash. Two suspects were located in Seattle. A third fled on foot and was not located.

Police responded to a shoplifter in custody and determined that the suspect had put on a new pair of shoes and walked out of the business without paying. Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested. He was trespassed from the location, advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date, and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

The on-duty corporal was traveling eastbound on NE 8th St at the southbound I-405 on-ramp and observed the driver crash into a sign pole and take off southbound on the I-405. He initiated a traffic stop and pulled the suspect over due to the damage to his vehicle. The officer observed that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. He initiated a DUI investigation, established probable cause, and arrested the suspect. While conducting the investigation, the officer determined that the suspect had been involved in another collision that he fled from in the downtown corridor. Officers located the victim drivers. The suspect was transported to the station and processed for DUI. While concluding that investigation, officers learned that the suspect had not been truthful and provided a false name when identifying himself. He was positively identified. The suspect and his vehicle were released to a sober family member.  He was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a Hit & Run with serious injuries involving a motorcycle. Officers determined that a driver had made an illegal left turn from northbound 145th Pl SE to westbound SE 16th St, directly in front of a motorcycle who was traveling southbound on 145th Pl and who had the right of way. The motorcycle collided into the suspect vehicle, and the suspect fled the scene. Traffic units are investigating.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. When officers arrived, they de-escalated the situation and determined that it was a verbal confrontation. As they were wrapping up the contact, officers witnessed the suspect assault his girlfriend.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect for a Reckless Driving Investigation. Officers had observed the suspect driving in a reckless manner with a complete disregard for safety along Bellevue Way and Main St. Upon detaining the suspect and investigating further, officers observed that the suspect driver was in violation of multiple laws. He was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

Police responded to an unwanted subject and determined that the suspect would not leave the store property, despite being asked repeatedly by the on-duty manager. The suspect was asked to leave multiple times by police under threat of arrest and would not listen. Probable cause was established, the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to an alarm call and observed that the door was broken into. The suspect possibly used a vehicle to ram it open. Officers cleared the business, but no suspects were located. The manager later responded to the scene. The manager advised that several cans of paint seem to be missing from the business. The officers gathered evidence from the store and submitted them into BPD evidence. This investigation is ongoing.

Officers have recently handled multiple calls for service to this location regarding neighbors and a recent court order. The officer verified a temporary order that was recently served. The victim alleged the suspect violated the order with statements made through an open window. The officer was unable to corroborate the statements. A report was sent to the prosecutor.

 NARRATIVE

A victim, currently living out of his car, stated the suspects approached him and asked him for a light, which he provided.  Approximately five minutes later, the two suspects, described as white males in their 20’s, 6’0″ tall wearing dark clothing, approached the victim carrying a bat.  The suspects told the victim they needed his car and threatened him with the bat if he did not exit his vehicle.  The victim exited his vehicle, and the two suspects took it. They were last seen driving north on Factoria Blvd SE.

Multiple fights broke out on different floors and in the parking garage involving 50-100 people.  All of 3rd shift, 4th shift, and off-duty responded to assist security in quelling the violence.  Most fighting was mutual combat, with groups intermittently throwing punches and then breaking each other up.  An out-of-control and intoxicated female was detained by officers after she was seen striking another female with the 3-inch heel of her shoe.  She was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect’s parents found her marijuana and took it. She was upset and physically assaulted both her parents and would not calm down. He was taken into custody without incident.
