NARRATIVE
A subject went to his girlfriend’s apartment to get items back from her, and there was a verbal dispute. The girlfriend tried to close the apartment door on the subject when he kicked in the door, causing it to come off its hinges and destroyed the frame. Officers stopped the subject as he fled the scene in a vehicle. He also had a statewide extraditable theft warrant from King County. He was arrested and booked into jail. |

A community member called regarding a delivery driver who was banging and kicking the door of an adjacent apartment. Officers contacted the delivery driver and learned the delivery driver’s significant other was inside and concerned for their welfare. Officers were able to enter the apartment, where the subject was found without a pulse. Life-saving measures were performed and were ultimately successful. |

A subject called 911 to report he pulled over to look for damage to his vehicle after allegedly hitting an object in the roadway. He stated an unknown suspect ordered him to the ground and had him throw his wallet toward the suspect. The suspect took cash out of the wallet, then threw it on the ground. The subject waited for 5-minutes before calling 911. He had no idea what direction the suspect fled, no suspect or vehicle information. When confronted regarding the improbability of his story, the subject recanted and admitted he lost the money at the casino. The fake robbery was the excuse he was going to give his wife. A summons was forwarded to the prosecutor for False Reporting 3rd degree. |

The on-duty corporal was traveling eastbound on NE 8th St at the southbound I-405 on-ramp and observed the driver crash into a sign pole and take off southbound on the I-405. He initiated a traffic stop and pulled the suspect over due to the damage to his vehicle. The officer observed that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. He initiated a DUI investigation, established probable cause, and arrested the suspect. While conducting the investigation, the officer determined that the suspect had been involved in another collision that he fled from in the downtown corridor. Officers located the victim drivers. The suspect was transported to the station and processed for DUI. While concluding that investigation, officers learned that the suspect had not been truthful and provided a false name when identifying himself. He was positively identified. The suspect and his vehicle were released to a sober family member. He was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date. |

Police responded to a Hit & Run with serious injuries involving a motorcycle. Officers determined that a driver had made an illegal left turn from northbound 145th Pl SE to westbound SE 16th St, directly in front of a motorcycle who was traveling southbound on 145th Pl and who had the right of way. The motorcycle collided into the suspect vehicle, and the suspect fled the scene. Traffic units are investigating. |
