 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a (2) vehicle collision and determined that the suspect had crashed his vehicle into an illegally parked touring bus. The officer observed that the suspect driver appeared to be exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. He initiated a DUI investigation and established probable cause.  The suspect was arrested, processed and released to a sober friend.

 NARRATIVE

KC Metro called about a male touching riders inappropriately.  The bus and possible victim had left before officers arrived. The King County Sherriff’s Office was unable to provide a deputy. The KC Metro supervisor pointed out the suspect, who was observed in the transit center by officers trying to open a metro drivers’ backpack.  When he was contacted, the suspect threatened to punch officers and then directed his attention to the KC Metro supervisor.  He told the supervisor he was going to punch him and then made motions to follow through.  He was stopped by officers and arrested for harassment.  A victim from the bus called police, stating the suspect had groped her.  The crime occurred in Seattle on the bus. The suspect was summonsed for the assault through the Seattle municipal court and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the subject during an emphasis patrol in the parking garage for a misdemeanor vehicle violation. During the contact, a small glass vial containing 13 oxycodone hydrochloride 30 mg “perc 30s” pills was located, along with several pieces of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The SUV was seized pending a search warrant for a drug investigation. The subject was released and trespassed from the property.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect took an expensive power tool from a locked cage and loaded up other items totaling $2,000 dollars into a shopping cart. The suspect walked past all registers and attempted to leave the store with the stolen merchandise, where he was contacted by loss prevention. The suspect abandoned the cart, and officers contacted and arrested him outside of the store. The suspect was booked into jail without incident.

 NARRATIVE

An alarm company was actively monitoring a live feed and contacted police when two subjects entered their construction site.  Responding officers contacted one suspect on the east side of the construction site near Bellevue Way and found him to be in possession of burglary tools. A second suspect was contacted in a parking garage on the west side of the construction site in her white vehicle. The first suspect later admitted he was looking for things to steal because he needed money for his fentanyl addiction.  Both suspects were booked into jail without incident.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect was stopped at a light for about 15 minutes, missing multiple green lights, prompting the reporting party to call it in. An officer arrived on scene and found the suspect slumped over at the wheel and an obvious marijuana odor coming from the car.  After finally waking, the suspect refused to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI.  Based on a previous conviction for DUI, the suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to reports of a possible prowler in the area and contacted a suspicious female who provided a fake name.  She said she was going to her car and was later contacted in a confirmed stolen vehicle out of Renton.  A male passenger was temporarily detained, but after probable cause could not be established for him, and the agency issuing his DV Warrant would not confirm it, he was released. The female suspect was arrested on a Renton warrant and booked into jail without incident.  Charges for Possession Stolen Vehicle are pending.

 NARRATIVE

An officer was dispatched to a parking complaint and was advised that there were two unauthorized vehicles on the property with occupants inside them. The officer contacted one of the vehicles and discovered that the driver had a theft 3 warrant out of Bellevue. He took the subject into custody without incident and booked him into jail.

A suspect threatened to kill his mom during a verbal argument. He stated that he was going to go to his car and get a gun. The victim watched as the suspect went to the trunk of his car. The victim was sure it was for a gun and truly thought he would kill her. The suspect saw officers and ran through the business complex to the south. Officers were able to locate him inside a business on the second floor in a bathroom. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Officers did not locate a gun. The vehicle was being driven by the suspect’s girlfriend and left as officers were looking for him. Officers stopped the car, and the girlfriend would not tell officers if he had a gun or not. The suspect was booked into jail..

Occupants of the house called in because they heard their sliding glass door break and then heard a vehicle leave the area at a high rate of speed.  Responding officers located shell casings outside and found bullet holes in the apartment.  The investigation is ongoing.

An officer was conducting a walk-through of Highlands Parks when she observed a transient who she recognized sleeping in the park.  A check of the subject revealed a felony escape warrant for Assault 2nd Degree out of Seattle PD.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a report of screaming and someone claiming to have been stabbed.  Upon arrival, officers found an argument between two subjects inside their apartment. The suspect opened the door and contacted the occupants.  The argument started after the victim screamed at one of their mutual children about wetting the floor, which caused the suspect to become enraged.  An argument ensued where the suspect grabbed a pair of scissors and poked the victim in the side, leaving minor marks.  The victim punched the suspect in the face, causing lots of bleeding.  The victim ran to a bedroom to call 911.  The suspect entered the bedroom, where another physical struggle continued over the phone.  The suspect and victim ended up back in the living room, where the suspect refused to let the victim leave the apartment.  Ultimately, police arrived and ended the fight.  The suspect was arrested for assault 2nd degree and interfering with reporting of DV and was booked into jail.

K91 assisted Kirkland PD with an occupied Burglary in their city.  The homeowner was adamant that someone was in the home.  There were no signs of forced entry and no scent indicators from the dog.

The suspect made concerning and threatening statements to staff and citizens. The suspect is a regular at the facility.  He was served a Trespass Notice and complied with leaving the premises.  During the contact, he made antigovernment and police comments.

A caller reported watching two subjects smoking a substance off tin foil and then pass out in the vehicle.  Upon contact, the passenger exited and was compliant with police.  The driver, despite a warning from police and his friend, started the vehicle and quickly pulled away, striking the vehicle next to him.  Officers were able to move out of the way and avoid a confrontation.  The vehicle was observed leaving, but officers did not initiate a stop as it would have likely caused further collisions. The investigation is ongoing.

The victim reported that the male suspect hugged her and grabbed her buttocks.  The female victim is a caregiver at the adult family home, and the suspect is the owner.  The female victim stated she wanted to just advise police of the incident and was not sure if she wanted to press charges. A report was taken.

Officers responded to a single-car collision with reports of a female being unconscious.  The female passenger was taken to the hospital and was uninjured.  The male driver was arrested for DUI.  The car had been driven northbound on 124th Ave NE, crossed over into the center median, and sheered a tree, causing the tree to fall over. The front end of the car sustained significant damage.

A female victim reported that while she was using the restroom, the male put a cell phone under her stall while she was on the toilet. Security found the male, and officers made contact.  They established probable cause.  The male suspect was trespassed and allowed to leave without further investigation.  The male stated that he entered the women’s bathroom by accident.  Video showed the male walking into several different bathrooms throughout the buildings.

 NARRATIVE

On 9-29-21, officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect for Driving with License Suspended. That suspect was arrested, and the passenger (suspect two) was also arrested on a BPD Theft Warrant.  Suspect two was also found to be in possession of items stolen from the store.  He was seen stealing a power tool, and it was believed to be in the vehicle.  The vehicle was impounded for a search warrant.  The first suspect was released at the scene. The second suspect was booked into jail.

A friend of the above subject called 911 to report he was threatening to kill himself.  Officers made contact, and ultimately, the subject was determined not to be an immediate danger to self/others as he had no access to firearms.

Security witnessed the suspect stealing from the store. He was contacted and arrested for a warrant, and the other cases were sent to the prosecutor.  Approximately $500 dollars’ worth of merchandise was returned.

Officers assisted detectives with the arrest of the suspect for $100K in DV Warrants.  The suspect was located near the victim’s location, and when contacted, he fled. The suspect fell twice and ultimately gave up.  He was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.

Officers observed the male driving with a suspended license status and a possible DV Order Violation, as the passenger looked like the protected party.  Officers stopped the suspect and took him into custody for DWLS 2.  The female in the vehicle was not the protected party, so the only charge was DWLS 2.  The suspect was cited and released at the scene.

Kirkland police responded to domestic violence verbal disturbance and located the victim reporting an earlier DV Assault that occurred in Bellevue.  The suspect scratched the victim while taking her phone and then breaking it on the ground.  The victim reported that this was the third time the phone was smashed. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The victim reported that the suspect, who had multiple warrants out of Bellevue, was at her residence and wouldn’t leave.  The 911 dispatcher heard the victim tell the suspect he would go to jail if he didn’t leave. The suspect was gone by the time police arrived, but at 0045 hours, the victim reported that the suspect had returned. The suspect was again gone when police arrived. The case was forwarded to the prosecutor.
