Officers contacted two subjects in a vehicle for their involvement in suspected narcotics activity at the location. The subject admitted to being in possession and consuming Percocet tablets. A consent search of the occupied vehicle resulted in the discovery of numerous drug paraphernalia including foil with “Perc 30” residue, syringes, scale, baggies, tourniquets, and glass smoking pipes. A drug referral form was issued along with trespass notices; both subjects were released from the scene. |

An ex-boyfriend returned to the victim’s apartment to confront her about who she may be talking to. He entered the apartment, uninvited and with a key, which caused a confrontation. During a struggle over that key, the victim was injured. While trying to call 911 for assistance, he took the phone from her. The suspect fled the area before police arrived but later came to the station to speak with officers. He was arrested and booked into jail. |

NARRATIVE
Officers contacted a subject for possession of car theft tools, and the subject attempted to flee in an involved vehicle, damaging it in the process. The subject then fled on foot, jumping from the second level of a parking garage. Officers caught up to the subject and took him into custody. Hours later, officers received information that a second subject was observed inside the mall and later walked to a nearby apartment complex to hide. Security attempted to contact her, and she jumped from a third-level apartment balcony to a second-level balcony. Officers arrived after the subject was subdued by security, who feared the subject was attempting to jump from another balcony and cause serious bodily injury to herself. Both suspects had several fake WA driver’s licenses, credit cards, and checks totaling $7100.00 on their persons and issued DOC escape warrants. Both suspects were booked into jail. |

WSP responded and conducted a high-risk stop at the location. Both parties were safely contacted. Both had firearms. BPD officers assisted and remained on scene until WSP cleared. |

Officers observed that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. They initiated a DUI investigation and established probable cause. The suspect was arrested and released to a sober family member. |
