IFIT-KC, the team investigating the North Bend officer-involved shooting, identifies the officer involved in the incident as Officer James Aguirre. Officer Aguirre has been with the Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department since June 2021. Before that, he was employed as an officer with the Clarkston (WA) Police Department from February 2018 to May 2021. There is no disciplinary record in either department.
