An intoxicated subject made belligerent and racist comments in the bar and was then assaulted up by six to eight men outside. This was initially investigated as a misdemeanor assault until he got home and determined the suspects took 300-400 dollars out of his pocket and took his watch while he was on the ground. The reporting party stated her vehicle was stolen in Portland earlier in the day, and she had just gotten access to tracking data for the vehicle, which placed the vehicle in Bellevue. Officers determined this was likely a civil matter. Officers located the vehicle in a parking lot and contacted the occupants in the vehicle. A robbery warrant out of Oregon was located on one of the occupants. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail as a fugitive from justice. Officers secured the vehicle at the scene and took the keys to return to the registered owner. |

The officer gave verbal commands to the suspect while awaiting additional units to respond. The suspect did not comply and got into a parked vehicle and fled the scene. Officers responded to a video feed of an unoccupied residential burglary. Officers stopped a vehicle on suspicion of the burglary and confirmed it was the getaway car with all the suspects on board. Officers searched the residence and reviewed the videotape, and established probable cause for residential burglary for each individual detained in the vehicle. All three suspects were booked into jail. One suspect had a DOC Escape warrant, and another had a residential burglary warrant. |
