The victim called 911 stating the suspect was inside his apartment violating a valid protection order. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect in the living room. He was taken into custody without incident and was booked into jail.  He had four prior order violation convictions.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party called stating a vehicle was parked on top of a planter, and the driver was slumped at the wheel. The vehicle had reportedly been used at a recent robbery in Kirkland. Officers contacted the driver and determined she was extremely intoxicated.  Officers called for aid due to the level of intoxication and presence of drug paraphernalia.  The suspect had a prior DUI and lengthy criminal history and was booked into jail.

While conducting an area check associated with a car prowl in progress, officers located a vehicle that had been stolen within the last hour and was possibly associated with the suspects in case 22-1837.  The unoccupied vehicle was recovered a block from where it had been taken.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to an alarm and located a broken glass door.  K-95 was first on scene and began tracking.  Mercer Island assisted with the perimeter.  The track led behind the business.  This business has been hit several times.  Surveillance video shows three subjects throwing large rocks at the door, which set off the alarm and scared off the suspects.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect and passenger entered Bellevue in a stolen vehicle. Officers from King County and Issaquah PD were tracking the vehicle and arrived in the Eastgate area, and that’s where the suspects abandoned the vehicle. The suspects then attempted to steal at least one more vehicle, then confronted the driver of an occupied vehicle and demanded it from her.  At this point, KCSO and Issaquah officers confronted the suspect, who fought with the driver of the vehicle.  Attempting to protect the victim, Issaquah PD intervened.  During this struggle, the suspect drove backward, striking the Issaquah officer with the vehicle.  The single occupant fled the area, followed by KC Guardian One.  The second suspect is taken into custody by KCSO.  Bellevue officers located the stolen vehicle and followed it onto the freeway, where WSP assisted. The suspect fled into Fall City and eventually drove into the Snoqualmie River.  He then surrendered without incident and was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An unknown person called 911 and reported being shot. The caller gave a general location, the 520 trail near the 148th Ave NE bridge over 520, but he refused to provide a name or further details. Numerous attempts to call him went unanswered. Officers walked the area and located several people; none were injured or heard gunshots.

 NARRATIVE

The victim has alarmed his mailbox and has bait mail.  After the alarm sounded, the victim saw a male walking away from the mailbox and trying his neighbor’s vehicle door handle. The suspect left in a black SUV.  An officer quickly followed the vehicle out of the neighborhood and guided in officers for a stop.  The suspect denied stealing mail but was in the neighborhood for “work.”  The suspect was found to have a North Bend warrant.  He was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.

The caller awoke to the sound of a saw and immediately believed someone’s catalytic converter was being stolen.  She opened her window and verbally scared them away.  Three males in dark clothing ran to the passenger seats in a silver SUV and left.  A catalytic Converter was found missing from a neighbor’s car.

An officer responded to a car prowl and met with the victim, who told him that at some point overnight, someone had stolen his tires from his vehicle. He advised him that he didn’t know who could have taken his tires. The officer was not able to locate any witnesses to the incident.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a suicide call, and on arrival, they also received information regarding a possible domestic disturbance. Officers heard screaming and a female saying, “get off me,” in addition to sounds of a disturbance coming from inside the apartment. Officers contacted both the male and female, but the investigation yielded no probable cause for a domestic disturbance.

The victim called 911 and reported that his vehicle was broken into, and several items were stolen from it. The officer arrived on scene and investigated the incident. The officer didn’t find any witnesses to the incident. The officer is working on getting a possible video of the break-in.

Officers contacted the subjects for a warrant and organized retail theft investigation. One subject had a warrant. Officers observed the subjects inside a vehicle with suspected drug paraphernalia in plain sight. One subject admitted to using illegal narcotics and consented to a search of the vehicle, and officers found 20 suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride “Perc 30” pills and approximately 5 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Both subjects were released from the scene with a Statutory Referral and Notice of Trespass.

 NARRATIVE

A bus driver called about a suspect with a machete hitting trees and bushes. A large branch was found cut off the tree. When officers arrived, the suspect became upset with an intoxicated patron and began to advance on him menacingly.  Officers detained the subject, believing he intended to assault the other subject.  The suspect has numerous Bellevue contacts and recent arrests. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

While driving back from the King County jail, the officer located a stolen license plate on the vehicle traveling in front of him. The officer coordinated with WSP and started a high-risk stop on the shoulder of the freeway.  Once the driver exited, it was immediately apparent that someone had switched stolen plates on the vehicle.  The driver was not handcuffed or detained.  The stolen plate was recovered, and the victim’s plates were entered as stolen.

An officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle had a punched ignition and missing power tools.  The owner declined impound, and the vehicle was left in place.

 NARRATIVE

Two suspects loaded up a shopping cart with power tools. When confronted by a store employee, one then pushed the cart out the rear fire exit, while the second male arrived in the getaway car.  They began loading the stolen merchandise in the car when the employee knocked over the shopping cart and blocked their path to stop them.  They pushed the employee away, told him to get away and continued to load the stolen power tools in the vehicle.  Officers arrived as the suspect vehicle was fleeing the area.  When a stop was initiated, suspects drove recklessly, and no pursuit was initiated.

Police responded to a welfare check and were advised by the victim’s sisters that the subject was in a mental health crisis. After talking with officers and building rapport, the subject refused to leave his residence and told officers he was “just going to head to bed.” Based on the above circumstances, the decision was made to disengage from residence.

 NARRATIVE

Kirkland Police Dept. requested K9 assistance in reference to an outstanding Assault DV suspect who had fled from the police. The BPD K9 unit initiated a track, and after several laps around the apartment complex, K9 Officer Walter located the suspect hiding in a stairwell in an adjacent building next to the victim’s residence. The suspect was taken into custody by KPD without incident.

Police responded to a possible car prowl in progress, located and detained the suspects without incident. The investigation revealed that the suspects were not prowling vehicles but were extremely impaired because of drug and alcohol abuse and driving. Officers were able to capture one subject on video driving and observed the other subject in physical control of the vehicle. Officers initiated a DUI/Physical Control investigation, established probable cause and arrested the suspects.

Loss prevention confronted the suspect after she had stolen merchandise from the store.  The suspect refused to return the stolen property and then assaulted the loss prevention officers while attempting to retain possession of the stolen merchandise.  The suspect was eventually arrested for robbery.  She was booked into jail without incident.

An alarm company advised that the suspect had driven onto their lot, moved physical barriers out of the way, and was in an area that was off-limits to customers. Officers could not confirm any crime had happened on the business lot but determined that the suspect had an outstanding, confirmed Felony Warrant. The suspect was taken into custody.

 NARRATIVE

An unknown suspect threw a brick through a back door and gained access to the church. A few offices had been rifled through, but nothing seemed to be taken. A worker located a transient male sleeping in one of the classrooms. The subject said he was let in by two other unknown males. There was evidence of other attempted break-ins on a door lock. The male left before the police arrived.

The victim’s father called in to report his son being assaulted on Friday at about 2200 hours.  Following a verbal confrontation with another group of people, the suspect punched the victim in the head.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a robbery and determined that a suspect had been contacted for attempting to steal a cold pack of beer from the location. The loss prevention agent stated that the suspect had threatened to shoot him and gestured toward his waistband as if he had a gun. The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound from the location. A K9 unit responded to the scene and initiated a track. Following an extensive search, the K9 lost the lost scent. The investigation is ongoing.
