Detectives need help identifying two males suspected of stealing a five-foot-tall safe with nine firearms inside. The two suspects are seen on video entering a garage south of downtown on January 2 between 6:30 – 7:30 am. The pair are seen entering the apartment building where detectives say they loaded a 350-pound, five-foot-tall save into the back of their car. The safe contained nine firearms, including pistols, shotguns, and rifles, as well as jewelry and gold coins.
The suspects left in a white Hyundai Sante Fe with visible paint damage on the back end, both top and bottom. They are described as two white males, one heavy set and the other with a medium build.
