Bellevue detectives arrested a 49-year-old convicted sex offender for contacting a minor on a social media platform and agreeing to pay for sex acts. What the suspect didn’t know is that he was communicating with an undercover Bellevue detective.
The Puyallup resident is a four-time convicted sex offender, convictions which involved child molestation and rape of a child. He’s accused of propositioning a 16-year-old boy in this current case.
The King County Prosecutor’s Office has charged him with Attempted Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor and Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes. The judge set bail at $50,000 and the suspect is out of jail.
