NARRATIVE
King County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance looking for a vehicle it had been pursuing after it rammed several of their vehicles. The pursuit had been along the Lakemont Blvd border of Bellevue. Bellevue was not involved in the pursuit. The vehicle was located by KCSO. Bellevue officers assisted in the perimeter after the vehicle crashed into a gated complex, and both occupants fled. The passenger had a Bellevue warrant and was arrested and booked into jail. The driver climbed onto the roof of the condominium complex and eventually gave up without incident after Bellevue officers de-escalated the situation. The vehicle turned out to be stolen out of Bellevue. |

A security guard reported that a suspect opened his car door, grabbed three packs of cigarettes, and punched him in the face, causing pain. Officers set a perimeter, and a K-9 tracked led to the downtown transit center. Along the track, two packs of cigarettes were located. The suspect was located on the stairwell west of the transit center holding the remaining pack of cigarettes. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. Shortly after being booked, an employee called from Bellevue restaurant reporting that their cell phone was stolen and was currently showing at the jail. The suspect was booked with a phone. The phone was recovered from the jail and verified it belonged to the victim. Officers returned the phone to the victim. |

A male suspect showed up at the victim’s apartment, banging on doors and windows and demanding to be let in. The victim called 911, and the suspect left. The victim reported that last Friday, the suspect forced his way into her apartment and physically assaulted her. The victim also stated the suspect stole items that he said were his, but they were actually gifts he had given the victim in the past. She said the suspect repeatedly calls her, gets into her social media, and stalks her new boyfriend. The suspect was located, arrested and booked into jail without incident. |

Officers responded to an alarm call at a construction site. When they arrived, they searched the site but did not see any obvious signs of theft. The owners were not able to determine if the suspect had stolen anything, so he was arrested for trespass. |

The reporting party called about his partner being shot at after attending a party. A disturbance occurred between the victim and suspect in the building, which resulted in the victim being pistol-whipped by the suspect. The parties separated, but the suspect located the victim on the street and confronted him. A physical fight ensued, and the suspect fired a shot near the victim into the ground. The suspect left with two other subjects. No one was shot. The investigation is ongoing. |

A motorcycle officer witnessed a catalytic converter theft as he pulled into the parking lot. The suspect spotted the officer and jumped into his adjacent vehicle and sped past the officer. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, but the suspect instead increased speed to 60+ MPH and ran a red traffic signal at SE Eastgate Way and 150th Ave SE. The officer immediately discontinued efforts to gain voluntary compliance from the suspect to stop. He returned to the scene of the crime and verified the catalytic converter theft. The license plate did not match the vehicle, and it may be an unreported stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing. |
