The suspect brought the victim to the hospital, and staff contacted police because it was a domestic violence situation. When an officer arrived, he saw the suspect and contacted and detained him. The crime occurred in Renton.  The suspect was arrested and turned over to Renton PD.

An adult son argued with his father after his father refused to give him money for cigarettes. The son took the car keys and then pushed through his father to get to the vehicle. The son was gone when police arrived and could not be located. He was summoned for Assault 4 DV.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect is the ex-boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend. The suspect was intoxicated and broke out the window to the victim’s bedroom and the windshield of the victim’s car. The victim witnessed the crime. The suspect had left when the police arrived. He will be summoned for Malicious Mischief 3.

 NARRATIVE

An officer on proactive patrol contacted a driver who was passed out in his car, surrounded by suspected drug paraphernalia. After considerable effort to wake him, the driver identified himself and was found to have a felony warrant. Officer requested the driver exit the vehicle, and the suspect stated, “no way,” and started the vehicle, and fled at a high rate of speed eastbound on NE 8th St. He almost ran over his buddy who was adding coolant to the vehicle. Officers could not locate the suspect. He was summoned for DUI, reckless driving, obstruction, and Driving with License Suspended.

The victim reported that an unknown suspect had entered her vehicle sometime overnight and stole a toolbox from it. She advised she didn’t know who could have entered her vehicle without her permission.

 NARRATIVE

The three suspects approached two victims and demanded their cell phones and money.  One of the suspects brandished what later turned out to be an airsoft gun concealed in his waistband. That prompted the victims to run away, and the suspects chased the victims. One of the suspects assaulted one of the victims, demanding his cell and money while reaching toward the victim’s pocket.  When officers arrived, the victims pointed out the suspects, who were seated on a bench nearby.  All three suspects were arrested without incident, and the airsoft gun was recovered.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a call of a suspicious male who had released what appeared to be an unknown chemical into an occupied Metro Bus, causing the driver to make an emergency stop and evacuate all the passengers. Officers arrived and developed probable cause for assault. A K9 was unable to track the suspect. Later during the shift, officers determined the chemical release, most likely pepper spray, appeared to be accidental. It is unclear why the suspect fled.

Officers were conducting a suspicious vehicle investigation and discovered the subject associated with the vehicle was on active trespass at the location. The subject was contacted, and an investigation revealed the subject was involved in an identity theft incident. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to a blocking/disabled vehicle and contacted the sole occupant sitting in the driver’s seat, who admitted to being the registered owner of the vehicle. Officers observed that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to the obvious consumption of alcohol and driving. The DUI investigation established probable cause. The suspect was arrested and processed for DUI.

Police responded to a possible burglary in progress. Responding officers recognized the suspect and contacted him as he attempted to enter the residence. Officers contacted the reporting party and learned the suspect has legal residency at the location. The subject did have an outstanding, confirmed warrant and was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect stole almost $1,000 and fled the area.  He was located nearby and positively identified by the loss prevention agent.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a report of a male attempting to break into several vehicles. Officers located the male, and he fled on foot to a vehicle parked in an adjacent parking lot. The suspect drove away in the vehicle and refused to stop for officers.

Officer responded to the location along with King County Sheriff’s deputies for attempted theft of an ATM. A BPD officer was first on scene, but the suspects fled on foot just prior to his arrival. KCSO arrived soon after and took over the investigation; no further assistance was requested.

The reporting party called 911, stating he was just robbed at knifepoint. Officers arrived and determined that he had set up a date with the suspect and was robbed of his money. The suspect had an extraditable felony warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was located and arrested. The money was located in her clothing at the jail.

 NARRATIVE

The subjects got into an argument on the way home.  Once at their apartment complex, the victim attempted to walk away, but the male grabbed her. She pushed him away, and he again grabbed her by the arm.  She shoved his hand off her, and she returned to their apartment.  He was taken into custody on scene and booked into jail.

The victim confronted the suspect on the roadway after he claimed the suspect had struck a duck in the roadway. The suspect and victim pulled into a gas station and began arguing and pushing. The suspect produced a knife cutting the victim’s hand.  The victim did not want to pursue charges. The case was turned over to investigations.

 NARRATIVE

An unknown suspect driving a black SUV fired a pellet gun at the front glass doors/windows of multiple businesses, causing an estimated $30,000 in damage. Two of the projectiles also struck the victim in the neck as he was standing in front of one of the businesses, causing minor injuries. The victim believed this was random and didn’t think he was specifically targeted. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

An unknown suspect driving a black SUV (believed to be the same suspect/vehicle from the above case) fired a pellet gun at the front of the residence, striking the window of the victim’s daughter’s bedroom and causing minor damage. The victim nor his daughter recognized the vehicle and didn’t believe they were specifically targeted.

Patrol received a call regarding a subject running around his neighborhood stating he was going to kill someone.  The subject was not armed, and the neighbors he contacted all stated he obviously needed mental health assistance.  He was detained without incident and transported to the hospital.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect fired shots at a car in Clyde Hill.  A witness spotted the vehicle in Bellevue and noted the suspect holding a gun while driving erratically. The witness provided a license plate to 911.  The suspect left the area driving north on I-405. Redmond police later interrupted a car prowl and arrested the suspect for an assault that occurred during the prowl. Bellevue officers assisted in collecting traffic camera video and a witness statement.

Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested for DUI without incident. He was booked into jail.
