Bellevue Police investigating shots fired at Crossroads

The Bellevue Police Department announced an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday evening in Bellevue’s Crossroads neighborhood.

At approximately 7:56 p.m. on July 29, Bellevue Police were dispatched to initial reports of an assault occurring at the 1400 block of 156th Ave NE. Officers spoke with a female victim after arriving at the scene and determined she was confronted by a male suspect known to her in a business parking lot. It was during the confrontation when the alleged shooting occurred. The suspect then fled the scene and is currently outstanding.

No community member was injured during the incident. Due to the relationship between the suspect and victim, Bellevue Police has determined there is no threat to the public.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing and new information will be published via the Bellevue Beat Blog.
