King County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance looking for a vehicle it had been pursuing after it rammed several of their vehicles.  The pursuit had been along the Lakemont Blvd border of Bellevue.  Bellevue was not involved in the pursuit.  The vehicle was located by KCSO.   Bellevue officers assisted in the perimeter after the vehicle crashed into a gated complex, and both occupants fled.  The passenger had a Bellevue warrant and was arrested and booked into jail.  The driver climbed onto the roof of the condominium complex and eventually gave up without incident after Bellevue officers de-escalated the situation. The vehicle turned out to be stolen out of Bellevue.

A security guard reported that a suspect opened his car door, grabbed three packs of cigarettes, and punched him in the face, causing pain. Officers set a perimeter, and a K-9 tracked led to the downtown transit center.  Along the track, two packs of cigarettes were located.  The suspect was located on the stairwell west of the transit center holding the remaining pack of cigarettes.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. Shortly after being booked, an employee called from Bellevue restaurant reporting that their cell phone was stolen and was currently showing at the jail.  The suspect was booked with a phone.  The phone was recovered from the jail and verified it belonged to the victim. Officers returned the phone to the victim.

The victim reported that last Friday, the suspect forced his way into her apartment and physically assaulted her. The victim also stated the suspect stole items that he said were his, but they were actually gifts he had given the victim in the past. She said the suspect repeatedly calls her, gets into her social media, and stalks her new boyfriend. The suspect was located, arrested and booked into jail without incident.

Officers responded to an alarm call at a construction site.  When they arrived, they searched the site but did not see any obvious signs of theft.  While searching, an officer noticed movement behind a tarp, and a subject was located hiding inside.  The owners were not able to determine if the suspect had stolen anything, so he was arrested for trespass.

The reporting party called about his partner being shot at after attending a party. A disturbance occurred between the victim and suspect in the building, which resulted in the victim being pistol-whipped by the suspect.  The parties separated, but the suspect located the victim on the street and confronted him.  A physical fight ensued, and the suspect fired a shot near the victim into the ground.  The suspect left with two other subjects. No one was shot. The investigation is ongoing.

A motorcycle officer witnessed a catalytic converter theft as he pulled into the parking lot.  The suspect spotted the officer and jumped into his adjacent vehicle and sped past the officer. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, but the suspect instead increased speed to 60+ MPH and ran a red traffic signal at SE Eastgate Way and 150^th Ave SE. The officer immediately discontinued efforts to gain voluntary compliance from the suspect to stop.  He returned to the scene of the crime and verified the catalytic converter theft.  The license plate did not match the vehicle, and it may be an unreported stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle from her garage as she slept inside the house.  The victim’s purse (which was inside the vehicle in the garage) was also stolen.  The suspect proceeded to then use the victim’s credit cards multiple times between here, Issaquah and Everett.

The suspect was on an unreported stolen motorcycle with plates that belonged to a Harley Roadster. Officers located the motorcycle in a parking lot after the rider jumped off it. They initiated a traffic stop, and the rider fled on foot.  Following a short foot pursuit through the parking lot, he gave up and was taken into custody.  The suspect lied about his name and had warrants out for his arrest.

Washington State Patrol attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle eluded them, and WSP located the vehicle on the border of 3 different cities with only the passenger still on scene. Stolen plates were on the van, and it was unconfirmed to be stolen.  The passenger was arrested for her warrants. Multiple agencies set up a perimeter, but the suspect was not located.

The gun was found to be stolen. The son is a convicted felon and respondent in an order prohibiting him from possessing a firearm.  In addition, he had numerous misdemeanor warrants.  After receiving medical care, he was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers were patrolling the above location when they noticed loss prevention watching front doors. The officers assisted loss prevention by taking the suspect into custody as she exited with $293 worth of stolen merchandise.  The suspect’s boyfriend was seen in a vehicle that fled, then was later abandoned nearby. The boyfriend had a warrant out for his arrest, and police searched the area to attempt to locate him.  He was not located.  The female was arrested and released pending a summons for Theft 3.

Numerous neighbors called about loud revving and possible racing in the new South Bellevue Park and Ride.  Numerous officers arrived to find at least 100 vehicles.  Officer used their emergency lights, presence, and education on the proper park and ride behavior to dissipate the meet.  While the patrol officers managed cars within the park and ride, a traffic officer enforced traffic laws on the roadway.  They issued five tickets for modified exhaust.  Most cars left voluntarily and were friendly.

Officers responded to check the welfare of a woman who was banging on doors and windows. The officers arrived and found a distraught female who wouldn’t provide any information. They located her vehicle nearby, far off the roadway in the woods.  The driver was uncooperative and was taken to the hospital. Traffic cameras show the vehicle failing to turn while traveling northbound on 116^th Ave NE and launching into the area of woods behind the T in the road.  The female was not found by officers until 45 minutes after the initial crash. Alcohol may have been a contributing factor. The investigation is ongoing.

He advised the responding officer that on the following day, he woke up and discovered items missing from it. He had videos of the suspect who broke in. A bus driver argued with the suspect regarding his alleged disruptive behavior on the bus. The suspect sprayed an unknown substance, later found to be body spray, on the plexiglass partition, separating the driver from the riders. The driver complained some of the sprays drifted over the partition and demanded the suspect be charged with assault. Officers contacted the suspect. Charges were forwarded to the prosecutor.

Two suspects robbed the store at gunpoint while a third waited in a vehicle. One suspect shot a round into the ceiling as he entered, then demanded the money in the till and asked to be taken to the safe. The suspects’ vehicle was described as a boxy white vehicle. About 8 minutes after the initial call, an officer located a similar vehicle traveling southbound on I-405 by Coal Creek. When he turned on his emergency lights, the vehicle took off.  When he shut down his lights, the vehicle returned to normal. The officer followed the vehicle at a distance as it traveled onto I-5 until it was eventually lost in traffic. A short time later, WSP called out with the vehicle, which had rolled over on I-5 and was unoccupied.  Several Bellevue units assisted with a perimeter while WSP and Des Moines assisted. The suspect could not be located. Items taken from the store and a gun were located in the suspects’ vehicle.

Approximately an hour later, Issaquah Police advised that they had located the suspect vehicle and had the suspect in custody. BPD Units responded to Issaquah and positively identified the suspect. He was booked into jail.
