Water Main Break

A water main broke and water was traveling under the road causing erosion of dirt and rock to travel down 150th Ave SE.  Two sinkholes were forming on SE 46th Street between 149th Ave SE and 150th Ave SE.  Utilities/Streets were notified. Command was notified.

Unknown male approached female victim and ripped her gold chain from her neck. Detectives investigating.

Suspect broke victim’s front storm door and attempted to break the second door but ran when the homeowner made herself known. Suspect was not located.

Suspect got angry that a male on the opposite side of the street did a “cat call” at his mom. Suspect confronted the male and a pushing match ensued. Suspect lifted up his shirt and exposed what appeared to be a black handgun to the other male. Suspect then ran. Officers contacted the suspect and recovered a realistic Airsoft gun. Victim did not want to pursue any charges.

Suspects stole two coats from a store. Bicycle Officers located the two suspects at the transit center. Suspects ran from officers and a foot pursuit ensued. Suspect dropped the stolen merchandise while running. Officers caught up to one suspect and took him into custody.

Subject was throwing items off of her third floor balcony causing a dangerous situation for others and the maintenance worker. Subject was suffering from mental issues and was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Suspects were seen by neighbors in the area driving by and opening mailboxes. Officer spotted the suspect vehicle. A witness identified the suspects and suspect vehicle. The two suspects were arrested and suspected heroin was found.

Subject was seen snorting a white powdery substance at the coffee shop. Officer contacted him and discovered a felony drug warrant out of Seattle. Officer arrested the suspect on the warrant.

Suspect had stolen checks in his possession and wrote one to himself and attempted to cash it. The store called the victim who advised the checks were stolen and he had no idea who the suspect was. Suspect left the store before officers arrived and was not located.

Officers were on an unrelated contact when a female and male patron of a nearby restaurant backed their car into one of the Officer’s unoccupied patrol vehicles.  The female driver then fled into the adjacent hotel and tried to switch spots with the male passenger.  Female was arrested for DUI and Hit and Run.

A black 2016 Chevy Corvette was stolen from a dealership while it was there for service. The vehicle is a 2016, but it was just recently sold for the first time. Vehicle is worth $110,000.

Caller reported shots being fired at their apartment as they stood outside.  An officer found the suspect vehicle and a chase ensued.  The pursuit was terminated due to dangerous speeds on the freeway.

It was later determined the shots were from a paintball gun, and nobody was hit or injured.  Detectives investigating.

Manager called to report that after males left her store and sped off in a black car she became suspicious that they had just stolen merchandise and checked her video.  She saw one of the male jump the counter and take items.

Suspect grabbed necklaces off of the victim as she approached the front door to her apartment. Suspect was not located.

Downtown unit Officers contacted two subjects in the stairwell of the parking garage.  The subjects were seen taking items from a donation bin and were detained.  One suspect had a theft warrant out of Lynnwood.  The second suspect was found in possession of suspected heroin.  Both subjects were booked into jail.

Victim called in to report a DV by phone. Victim stated that her husband assaulted her on 09/10/17 and the victim has been in TX with family. Case forwarded to detectives.

Road rage incident, in which one party threw a drink bottle at a vehicle.  The occupants of that vehicle then got out of their vehicle and were pepper sprayed by the other driver.  The suspect was located and arrested.

Officer contacted a subject at the transit center. A records check was performed which revealed that the suspect had two warrants out for his arrest for obstructing and theft.  He was arrested and booked into jail for the warrants.

Criminal Trespass

Mall Security reported the suspect was loitering on their property and acting strange.  They requested the subject be escorted off their property and when he refused to leave wanted him issued a notice of trespass.  A written notice of trespass was issued and the suspect refused to leave, so he was arrested for criminal trespass 2nd degree.  Suspect booked into Jail.

Officers were still contacting the above subject when a juvenile male suspect tried to push his way through the scene.  Officer instructed the suspect to stand back and find another way around.  The suspect believed he had the right to continue on his path unimpeded so he informed Officer Carman to “F off” and slapped the officer’s hand.  Officer detained the suspect for obstructing an Officer and assault.  The suspect informed that officers on scene he intended to kill them and their families when free from jail.  Subject booked into youth center for assault 3rd, obstructing, resisting and harassment (threats to kill).

Officers contacted a subject during a disturbance call. Suspect had a Felony Warrant for Theft 2, $5000 bail out of Seattle.  Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Suspect contacted victim over the phone violating a court order. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

Driver failed to negotiate the turn at SE 60th. The vehicle went off the road, struck multiple trees/bushes and a homeowner’s fence. The vehicle rolled over and the driver was extracted by Fire. Driver went to the Hospital and was placed under arrest by Officer for DUI. No major injuries.

Malicious Mischief, Reckless Driving

Suspect pulled a plant out of a planter box in the mall and threw it on the ground. Security followed the subject to his vehicle in the Parking garage. The suspect took off at a high rate of speed out of the garage almost striking security. Subject was stopped by Officer and placed under arrest for Malicious Mischief and reckless driving.
