Two suspects were seen in the store concealing items and leaving without paying. When confronted by loss prevention, they dropped the bags and pushed their way past the Officer. Suspect fled in a U-HAUL box truck. An Officer located the truck nearby and attempted a traffic stop. the vehicle fled from the stop and the Officer did not pursue.

Construction workers noticed several items missing from a job site. A large welder was also missing but had a tracker on it. The Officer located the welder at another construction site in Issaquah and it was returned to a very happy owner. There are no suspects at this time.

Four businesses located on the northeast corner of Crossroads mall were burglarized (Crab King, New York Cupcake, Firenze Italian, and Peaks Yogurt. Entry was made by shattering glass doors and windows.

Four adjoining businesses were burglarized in the Kelsey Creek Shopping Plaza.  Landscapers arrived this morning and reported the incident.  All four locations had the front door glass smashed.  Detectives investigating.

The victim started an online relationship with a person he thought was 18 years old. The suspect and victim exchanged naked photos of each other. Soon afterwards, the victim then received an email from the same email who claimed to be the angry father of a 15 year old who accused the victim of being a child predator, then demanded that the victim pay $1500.00. The victim recognized this to be an internet scam and reported the situation to BPD.

 NARRATIVE

Three suspects stole the victim’s vehicle from the Port Apartments. The victim followed his vehicle and contacted 9-1-1 dispatch about his stolen vehicle. The victim followed his stolen vehicle to the 3000 block of Richards Road where he confronted the suspects about returning the vehicle. One of the suspects pulled out an airsoft pistol and began shooting at the victim. The rounds fired at the victim were airsoft pellets and bounced off the victim’s windshield. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle and were not located.

A worker with the parks department discovered an abandoned campsite in the wooded area by Viewpoint Park. A notice to vacate was posted last week and today the campsite was cleaned up. Trash was thrown away and property was collected and retained for safekeeping. Unknown who lived at the site.

Officers responded to a one car traffic accident located at the above listed location. The vehicle had crashed through a fence, ripping the rear axle and tires off of the vehicle, before stopping on a heavily wooded hillside. No driver or passengers were located on scene. Investigation is ongoing.

As a single BPD officer arrived near the above listed location to wait for backup, two subjects, engaged in a domestic disturbance ran directly at him. The Officer gave several verbal commands to stop, however the male proceeded to run to the officer and raise his closed fists. The suspect was taken to the ground and cuffed with minimal force. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Multiple callers reported a physical fight in the middle of 156 Ave NE in front of the Liv Apts. Upon arrival, Investigating Officer determined that the victim, an Uber Driver, had been assaulted by a fare he was transporting from Seattle. The suspect was last seen fleeing from the location on foot. A perimeter was set for a K-9 response and K-9 Officer Ozzie and his partner Officer Bradley located the suspect hiding in some bushes a short distance away. The suspect was booked.

Police responded to a physical disturbance between a male and female. The investigating Officer determined that the couple were in a dating relationship and arrested the suspect.

After a road rage incident on Bel-Red and NE 24, the 911 caller followed the other involved motorist two miles to his home. The other driver called his brother to tell him he was being followed. When both motorists arrived at the home, the brother of the other driver broke the window of his vehicle. Officers responded to the residence. The investigating officer will be forwarding Malicious Mischief and brandishing charges for review. A pistol was recovered and booked into evidence.

The suspect was unable to reach the victim via telephone or the “call box” so he reached through the bathroom window to get her attention, grabbed the shower head, and broke it.  The suspect also sent the victim photos of himself possibly vandalizing her vehicle.  Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A parent read a student’s email that suggested another student possibly had a gun at school on Friday.  After a lengthy investigation, the Officer learned that a CO2 pistol (not a firearm) was purchased on E-bay by the student, and never brought to school.  The pistol was provided to the Officer who booked it into the Property Room.  The Officer contacted the parents of the involved parties. The school resource Officer was notified. No threats were made.
